Location

The staff were unremittingly cheerful and polite but over-burdened. If you needed attention at reception they were busy in the bar; if you needed help in your room they were busy in the restaurant. They had problems finding the form for help with evacuation in the event of a fire and they were unable to assist in its completion (It's an incomprehensible and useless form anyway.) When we arrived we couldn't turn on the TV; the next night we couldn't turn it off. We had a room for two but only one of us could sit down - it took two days before another chair was delivered. We were invited to save our towels but they were replaced anyway - but not precisely. We finished up with 4 hand towels and I bath towel. It's also a shame that you need to endure the traffic jams approaching the Tunnel before arriving at the hotel.

Had a terrible nights stay. There was a couple staying on the same floor as us who kept us awake by constantly walking the corridor all night talking loudly because of this we were down for breakfast at 6.30 am only to have them come down and continue to be very loud. Unsure if the male guest was under the influence of something as his behaviour was very twitchy. We checked out at 7 am not a good start when we had a 5 hr drive home on no sleep.

The carpet in the room is very filthy and one of the tea spoons had been used and not cleaned up. It was just placed back, which would have been obvious to anyone it was dirty. Overall, I was alright.

They were very understaffed. We waited ages at reception, then waited ages for a drink . We would have had 3 or 4 if the staff had been more prompt. When 5 adults were in the lift it wouldn’t move even though it state it will carry 11 !!!!

The air conditioning in our room was broken the whole 5 nights we were there, even though we brought it to the attention of hotel staff.

The hotel met all my expectations bar one, no laundry facility. However the staff more than made up for this, with outstanding customer service. Fortunately i was able to get my laundry done at my cousins in rainham...

We completely enjoyed the stay. The hotel staff were super friendly. The breakfast is phenomenal. Will stay again

A bit too warm in the room otherwise it is a great stop on the way to Folkstone

Although non smoking, there were cigarette fumes coming into our room late at night or early morning. Could also do with lighter weight bedding during hot sticky summer! Otherwise the staff were wonderful, the hotel is really good value for money and convenient, room was nicely cleaned and just an overall brilliant stay.

All very nice except overall. But scrambled egg is terrible, massively overcooked lump of rubber which as a vegetarian is a big shame as forms the main part of my breakfast

Firstly, the customer service was excellent. Breakfast buffet was well organised, and the staff were friendly, and responsive to any reasonable requests. Drive to Woolwich for the Elizabeth line and O2 arena is less than 30 mins. Bluewater is also in the vicinity. We will definitely stay again!

Good onw night stay witb my daughter. Checked in late and we were well looked after

Nice hotel

The room looked tired, air con not working properly. Bathroom looked dated. Window catches broken. Also carpets very grubby.

Staff attitudes were bad, breakfast cold (meant to be hot) air conditioning in bedroom not working properly and with not checking in early as they said I could I was late for a wedding. To me I am English and they wanted to serve everyone else before us, plus said room was unavailable due to cleaners but when we checked out at 9 this morning, cleaners were already cleaning rooms, so this was the probably the same as yesterday

Bar service very slow due to not having enough staff. Not enough seating outside. The menu doesn’t offer much choice

The staff there was misleading and I was told a range of different things by staff regarding the late checkout. I have stayed before and everything was fine but I spoke to the manager on this occasion (zenit) and she handled things terribly

Thank you to the staff for making our stay a good one. They are all a credit to the establishment. Our room nice and clean, the breakfast fresh and the staff super friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were especially nice, greeting us with a friendly hello and smile whenever we passed by. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

We have stayed here many times with our small dog as it is very close to our family when we visit. This time our room was a bit shabby, marks on the carpet and in need of a refurb. never have we had to use a toilet that was so close to the floor in our bathroom. The staff are lovely and make you very welcome. Not happy that you have to now pay £4 per night to leave your car in the hotel car park.

I just wished they had refrigerator in each rooms .i have snacks I bought and needed it to cool for later. But overall was good, breakfast was nice and staff were helpful and I felt safe. I will visit again .

All ok, heating/air-con broken, nice staff, good breakfast

Found the room not quite right for an accessible as too narrow of a gap one side of bed and toilet to loo which made it too awkward for my wife to use. Breakfast as usual was up to standard with plenty to chose from. Also thought it was free parking and ended up paying for two nights so be careful when using machine, wish it could be included in price and you just register your vehicle, sorry to say will not be using again as this was a family emergency.

I requested rooms next to each other or adjoining before arrival. We were at different ends of the floor. Will not be returning. Also the air conditioner didn’t work.

Super warm welcome from the lovely lady on reception, i believe her name was Karen and she sure knew her stuff.. super clean room, very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast, all in all a breath of fresh air in respect of hotel's. We will without exception be using thishotel group again, far superior to Premier Inn and travelodge.

The simplicity and effectiveness…

Parking fines when parking at this Hotel. Be aware of this hotel. I knew I had to pay for parking to stay overnight here, fair enough. I did not pay right away on check in but after I had took my luggage to my room and relaxed for like an hour. Unbeknown to me I was issued a £100 fine for this which sent to my house two weeks after my stay, on top of the £12 I had paid to actually park my car overnight. Nice one. Never stay here again.

The hotel was excellent itself The only negative is there is nothing close by like restaurants most are at least a car ride away The hotel was clean well presented and the staff friendly and accommodating great value for money

It’s very hard to call an Uber as well as very inconvenient

The staff were very welcoming and helpful also I requested a room on the Ground Floor close to reception and I was given the first room number 19. The staff in restaurant were very informative and friendly. The only thing is I don’t think you should have to pay for parking when staying at the hotel.
