Clean room with a little balcony. Was overlooking the bar so got quite loud and we had to keep the balcony open in the night due to no air conditioning so it was noisy. However, friendly staff and lovely hotel near a coop and very walkable to the town centre.

Value for money! Location, location, location!

Great location in town centre. However, no Air condition and only one fans avaible for 2 rooms. Quite noisy street. We booked a room in the hotel but instead got rooms in a building across the street. Very expensive breakfast that wasnt good and difficult to find a healthy Choice in the buffet.

Location of the hotel is by Piazza Grande. Our room was not part of the hotel but more like an apartment across. The room was big but dark and tired looking. Was not a welcoming look. Not enough socket points for charging our phones and none by the bedside. Slight overpriced in my opinion.

Very close to the city centre and easily accessible. Luggage could be stored before checkin. Parking was easily accessible.

This hotel is very conveniently located near the center of town, the Piazza Costello. As an older property it has a definite charm with a pink theme with cherubs. Dinner in the restaurant was very good: the beef entrecôte was perfectly cooked medium rare, and my companions pork cordon bleu was good. The waitress was very genuine, and recommended an excellent wine for us. The room was comfortable and clean.

The hotel room was ok but a woman woke me up in the middle of the night because she continuously knocked on a door for about an hour from 1 to 2 a.m.

Hotel is in a good location. The roof terrace wasnt available during our stay. The rooms are clean and the restaurant was okay for meals in the evening.the is nearby parking for 9chf per day

Good thing I locked the door. Poor sleep.

The hotel is located at the quiet end of Piazza Grande, at the heart of city and close to the port, train station, and main shopping arcades, with plenty of restaurants and shops around. the room was clean and comfortable.Staff were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi coverage in the room was strong and uniterrupted.

Surprisingly nice place to stay. Big room, very peaceful, nice breakfast. Only the parking you wil have to take in your own care, it means on the street.Saturdays and Sundays are free of charge.Yes I recomemending this hotel.

Clean an confortable hotel. If you are with a car you can not reach the hotel. They give you a discount parking ticket ( € 9 ) from a parking place. 300 mts. Close to the castello. Move with a small carry bag. Nice hotel

Visiting relatives and location was central. I have stayed here in the past and enjoyed the older section of hotel instead of the newer section across the street

Hotel was quaint and in a great location at the end of the piazza. Rooms were small, but clean. No AC. We had room facing the bar and it was very noisy in the room until midnight.

Staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Central to town and local amenities. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Spent two nights here while looking round Locarno. Nice location, at the edge of the old-town with good views. Facilities good and staff friendly and helpful. Parking available (at a good rate) in a near by under-ground carpark.

Super clean hotel & room. Very convenient location right on Piazza Grande. Walking distance (5-10 minutes) to major attractions, including funicular to Orselina where you will have nice views over the city, lake Maggiore & Madonna del Sasso Sanctuary. Across the street at the funicular stop in Orselina, you can continue your journey to Cimetta in a Cable Car for an additional price. From the top of Cimetta, on a clear day, you can see the highest point in Switzerland at a distance (Pic Dufour) and the lowest point (Lake Maggiore). Hotel provides a parking card for 7,00 CHF per day (in-out unlimited accesses) & parking Castello is 150 meters from hotel. Breakfast Buffet is included & good choice are available.

This is a very nice place to stay. Good location. The only draw back, is that it does not have Air Conditioning. The room was very hot, and it was hard to get a good nights sleep.

Located just off the main square, the location was great. A 5 minute walk to the train station. The room was a little small, yet functional. Looked out onto a quiet side street. The brakfast was great and came with the room. Best Dinner special menu on town.

Hotel Dell Angelo in Locarno Switzerland was a nice hotel with very well maintained amenities. It had a pretty unusual style though with large ceramic vases and strange oil paintings on the walls contrasting with modern features elsewhere in the hotel. Generally though I enjoyed my stay, the complimentary breakfast in particular was much better than I expected.
