I have such terrible memory and to be honest this vacation was to just get away from everything. I do not remember the names of the amazing people that work there!! They definitely make you feel like home! I would definitely recommend this place if you travel to Cozumel!!

My mother and I stayed here for a few days on my Christmas break. Absolutely blown away by the utmost level of service. The owner Dan was incredible and extremely friendly. His staff Daniel and Eduardo were very attentive and accommodating. This was the first time we stayed outside of a resort and wouldn’t hesitate to return for our next trip. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Cozumel.

This hotel is such a little gem. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as we booked it last minute to stay close to the airport the night before leaving Mexico. However, the family suite for our family of 4 was perfect, extremely comfortable and the owner was extremely helpful and friendly, he got out a floating hoop and my kids had a blast playing basketball on the pool. He then even walked us down to a restaurant for dinner. Location is quite literally across the street from the airport, if we hadn't had so many bags and car seats we could have easily walked. Hope that if we are ever in Cozumel again, we will plan to stay here.

Casita de Maya is a hidden treasure in Cozumel. The hotel may be small, but not small on customer service with helpful staff and a proprietor who communicates well with his staff and connect with customers. Highly recommend and we will be back again!!

Across from Airport, quaint and relaxing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Dogs are friendly. Stayed in King Size room, nice size room with mini split AC, TV with Roku, closet with hangars, sink with soap, shower with towels and soap. Beach towels available. Outside door a table with chairs to enjoy meals outside under the palapa. Can order food on site. We rented a car instead of dealing with taxis and parked on-site. We would stay here again.

The propert owner and his staff were extremely respectful, courteous and accommodating. Property was clean and unique. Would definitely chose to stay here again

The property was nice and charming. We were the only guest on the premises. Do that was weird. The owner and staff were very outgoing and friendly. The room was satisfactory with the exception to no door on the bathroom just loud beads. We would stay again.

When visiting Cozumel, this is the place you have to stay. The hotel is very small and peaceful, but you still have your privacy. It is built and decorated beautifully. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly and helpful. I would feel extremely comfortable traveling here alone as a young woman. The chef is excellent and cares a lot about what he is serving you. The bed was super comfortable, great water pressure/temperature, and great AC. The TV comes with a Roku so we were able to relax in the evenings and watch our favorite shows. The neighborhood is very safe and cute. It’s not in the heart of downtown, but we preferred that. You can walk or rent a scooter. It’s also a five minute walk (tops) from the airport, but it’s not a very busy airport so it wasn’t loud or an inconvenience. 10/10 we will definitely being staying here again!

Dan the proprietor was extremely cordial and accommodating. His knowledge of the island was amazing. The area wasn’t the greatest but the hotel made up for that and was an easy walk from the airport!

Loved our 3-night stay here! Close to the airport-we walked. Daniel is a wonderful cook, and we especially enjoyed his fajitas and all the delicious seasoned veggies and rice. He is a kind soul with a wonderful sense of humor! Dan, the owner, is friendly as well, and he helped us in myriad ways as we mapped out our plans each day. Our room opened up to the courtyard and small pool area, which we loved. Just 7 rooms here but 3 floors. We felt safe, cool, and comfortable. Grateful for all their help and kindness! We hope to return!

I just needed a place close to the airport for one night after returning my rental car. It was in a pretty quiet area and close enough to walk to the ocean front or into town too. I think I might’ve been the only occupant that night, so I was able to have the pool all to myself after checkout. The chef was out of town, so didn’t try the food or breakfast…but do try Diego’s tacos 1 block away. Very good! Room was clean, bed very comfortable, nice older hacienda style rooms and building. Ceiling fan cooled the room but A/C also available. Good place to stay when you need to be close to airport.

I couldn't have been treated with more kindness. I was fortunate enough to, for the most part, be the sole guest just before the season begins (Nov.1). Thus, I got to know Dan, Daniel, Eduardo, and Jolie on a personal level. We are now amigos, as I've decided to stay and live in Cozumel. I've met their their families, been taken to cantinas and family-owned restaurants, and feel like I've found a center. None of this would have been possible w/o the people at Casita de Maya. I will always be grateful for the experience and the positive changes in my life.

I stayed at this guest house during my Ironman 70.3 race. It is walking distance from the airport and about one mile from the convention center. I walked to the downtown area a few times. The employees and owner are helpful in any way they can. I did have an issue with the tv because it was making a humming noise after being on for a short while, and it didn’t get resolved. I imagine it’ll be replaced in the mear future? Anyhow. They do offer laundry service, chef Daniel will prepare any meal for you at any time you wish to eat, and they’ll flag a can for you if you need one. The pool is really the only amenity there, and it’s quite nice. If you forget your mosquito repellent, they’ll kindly spray you until you get your own. Overall, if you want to be closer to the ocean or the downtown area, this may not be the place for you. But if you’re looking for a clean, peaceful place to stay, you’ll definitely enjoy your stay here.

This adorable boutique is literally right across the street from the airport, walking distance, no shuttle needed. Our flight got delayed from 6 pm until 8 am the next day and we were able to get adjoining rooms for our group of 5. They were so welcoming and even fixed my two teenage sons food at 10 at night. We are very grateful for the hospitality shown to us at a very stressful time! Rooms were clean and well kept and the pool area was super cute and would be a fun place to hang out and visit had we been their longer. The ac units worked well and we had a great nights sleep. Thanks again!

Peaceful boutique hotel, with beautifully decorated, clean and spacious rooms near the airport. Staff was friendly and made me feel at home. I will definitely stay here longer next time I am in Cozumel.

We stay here yearly and enjoy it each time. The staff are outstanding, the atmosphere is catered to your desire. It's a short walk from the airport so no hassle with transfers. When leaving you can check in your luggage and come back for a nice breakfast before leaving. The onsite cook Daniel will cook whatever you desire and does an awesome job. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. If you are an experienced Cozumel traveler you must stay here vs an AI. The price is right, the place is right and the staff are dynamite!

What can I say about this place? 1st I can say that I could not pass up staying here after reading the reviews, once our flight changed dates. 2nd I can say I AM SO GLAD WE DID! My husband and I absolutely loved staying here, so much so that my husband and I came back 2 other times during our trip to just eat, have a drink or hang out with everyone after we checked into our new hotel. Yes, we loved it and the staff that much! Dan took amazing care of us, answered every question and knows so much about the area and is willing to point you toward anything you want to do. The location is safe, we felt fine walking around and venturing out on our own. Daniel went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, well fed and had whatever we wanted to drink or eat, even when we were not staying there but came back. We even ended up heading into town to watch football and sharing a cab with Dans long time friend Gary, who is also a fixture at the Hotel. Not to mention the dogs that Dan and his staff lovingly care for who have made it their safe haven as well. We almost ended up bringing one home (but that is another story). All of this just shows what amazing people they all are. This place makes you feel like family, welcomed and cherished from the moment you walk through the door. I will go back and will tell everyone else to go there as well!

Very quiet location. Beautiful rooms & grounds. Staff was friendly & accommodating.

Wife and I stayed for 6 days, it was clean, comfortable and relaxing. Dan, the owner, is a great host, attentive, helpful, but never intrusive. We used Casita as a homebase while we explored Cozumel. In between outings, Daniel the resident chef/barkeeper, was always ready to prepare a cool beverage or a home-cooked meal for us. We walked (yes- walked!) from the Cozumel airport to Casita, maybe 5 minutes. Downtown is about a 25 minute walk or a $5 cab ride away. A really nice place to stay, our room was pretty much new, nice decor, everything you need.

Quiet, quaint hotel, Dan was very helpful and we very much enjoyed the property.

We had a great time Dan and his staff are awesome they make u feel like family always clean rooms there to help with your travels and getting us cabs when needed as great place to stay we have been here three times and will be back again in October
