The room was basic, and old, but clean. The arrival of other guests in the early hours who were noisy caused sleep disruption. As a suggestion maybe the hotel could inform others on arrival of this. Sadly people have no care or consideration for others.
The door key system failed a few times, but staff addressed this problem. The front desk staff were very helpful and considerate but feel they are restricted with the age of the building and layout. We were surprised that there was a lack of Tea or Coffee making facilities, within the room, since it was branded a 4 star hotel. Breakfasts, were served by polite, cheerful staff. The food offering was plentiful and varied.

The location was great. It was on the major shopping street and it’s few blocks away from the water front and there is a parking lot around it if you arrive by a car. The room was roomie and there are lots of dining options close by. The staffs were very informative and friendly.

We stayed for two nights only. The front staff was very helpful. We had friendly midnight check in :-) as easyJet haven't offered an easy flight. We were so hungry, but didn't know where to go. Again, the staff was helpful and gave us the direction to the right location :-) Although, the room was basic, it was very clear with white, soft towels. The water in the room fridge is not free. The last but not least, the staff booked a taxi for us to the international bus station as the local bus drivers had a strike. We will recommend the hotel- good value for money, great location and staff.

The hotel location was amazing and staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were good, but beds were extremely uncomfortable.

The hotel is best located on the main street and close to everything. Rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are large and comfortable. Room service is excellent. The breakfasts are great and the service is outstanding. In RECEPTION the attitude and the help beyond expectations, and especially I want to mention MR. Nikos. In short, a great value-for-money hotel.THE WI FI IS VERY GOOD

Great location, just 3min walk from the main square, and 2min walk from the coast. It is in the main street, but the room is very quiet. The staff are very nice, and you can always see the smiles on their faces. They even made a special cake for an old man with his birthday at the breakfast, which was really nice. Also, the breakfast is great. Room itself is clean and comfortable. For me, just one thing that not so satisfied, that is the room (single room) is a bit small, especially for the toilet. But overall, strongly recommend for this hotel.

The breakfast and restaurant was good/nice. The room was smelly and not nice. When requested to change the room, the man at the desk indicated that there were no available rooms, however this was not correct. He even suggested that no cleaning stuff could be borrowed since the housekeeping had finished for the day, this turned out not to be true either. Other staff were, however, nice enough. The hotel did not have a lobby area for relaxation or waiting after check out either.

This is not a 4-star property. The location is great, and the breakfast buffet is good. Otherwise, the beds are uncomfortable, the bathrooms are small, and service is non-existent. The toilet would not flush properly, the shower didn't drain and the WiFi wouldn't connect most of the time. When I complained to the front desk, all they said was that they couldn't do anything about it. They suggested I switch rooms.

The room was quite small for 4 of us. But there is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Main Street and trees so we relaxed there and in the lounge. The breakfast is brilliant and such friendly staff. Perfect location. Easy walk with large suitcases to the ferry port. A few minutes walk from main square. Would definitely stay again. Good value for money.

REQUESTED FOR 3 DAYS TO CHANGE ROOM AS THEIR WAS TOO MUCH NOISE FROM THE STREET BUT DESPITE THE FACT THAT I KEPT TELLING THE RECEPTION THAT I COULD NOT SLEEP NOTHING WAS DONE STATING THAT HOTEL WAS FULL. FOUR DAYS WITHOUT SLEEP. DESPITE THIS BREAKFAST IS EXCELLENT AS WELL AS ALL STAFF.

Great location, fantastic food. Floors 1, 2 and 3 seem renovated, while 4th floor maybe not. Restaurant staff and breakfast are great, well worth the stay. The reception has its flaws. No sitting/ waiting area at the lobby. Receptionist informed that the price of the transfer from SKG airport would be 18 euros, and the driver charged 24 euros on the spot. Driver claimed that the extra fee was charged to cover flight delay, when in fact it was only 10 minutes wait from the requested pickup time.

The reception staff were all extremely helpful, and spoke excellent English. The hotel is well located and ideal for an overnight stay in Thessaloniki. Breakfast is good. Internet access is free. The showers could do with a bit of attention.

If you are seeking a good value for money 3* hotel this is your choice. I stayed in a suite, which basicaly is a double room with an extra sofa-bed which created ample space. The locations is perfect; downtown in walking distance of the main attractions and night life. The breakfast was definately above average (great choices on pies!) which frankly I did not expect. On the down side, the air conditioning did not work properly which made for a hot room. Common ares were not great (except for brakfast room which was really cute). Towels seemed old. During the day expect traffic on the road in front of the hotel. I would go back because of good price and location

Initially I was given a very small not very comfortable room with quite a lot of road noise. When I requested a change I was given a vastly superior room in a quieter position. Rooms at the front of the hotel suffer from road noise in spite of double glazing. The hotel staff were always courteous and helpful. Good and plentiful breakfasts. Recommended.

The hotel location is in a good area and its a good value for money.

The hotel is perfectly located on the main shopping street downtown. The downside is, there is no parking, not even a driveway for drop-off and pick-ups. There is no hotel lobby per se, and not much that is palatial about the Palace. The room was moderately big and overlooking a quiet if claustrophobic courtyard. Breakfast is good, but if you do not smoke, it can be unpleasant. Floor covering in hallways makes for very noisy common spaces.

the hotel is in a good location, but in the same area you may get much better accomodations for same range of price. Definitely not the best price / performance.
