What a lovely hotel. Shame it was only a flying visit. Staff were all super helpful. Breakfast was stupendous, best bacon roll ever. With hindsight I should have arranged to have my evening meal there. Next time!

Staff very friendly and accommodating, didn’t eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on that. Close to the town centre, so handy location and ample parking. I was given a room towards the back of the hotel where I thought it would be quiet. Sadly I was wrong, what I assume is the extractor from the kitchen runs through a cupboard in the bathroom, very noisy. Disturbed me late afternoon and woke me at 06.30.

Wonderful hotel and extremely helpful. We stayed here with our two dogs, no extra charge for the dogs either. Quite easy to find in the dark as we arrived late. The hotel texted me check in details, which were spot on. We would definitely stay here again. Very impressed with hot chocolate in the room and biscuits. 10 out of 10 for this hotel.

Location closed to Wrexham General and city center. Service are good. That must be my choice in next trip here

Clean, comfortable room with good facilities, friendly staff and breakfast was lovely. Had no toiletries in my room when I checked in but that was remedied quickly! Unfortunately, my room was overlooking the back of the kitchen so there was a lot of noise and owing to the old building there wasn’t much soundproofing between rooms, I was woken quite early by staff arriving and the thin windows made it sound like they were in the room with me! Save for that, I had a nice stay and would be back (but might get a room on the other side!)

The service was excellent and the food was exquisite, it was perfectly lovely. We travelled to the Lemon Tree on my wife’s birthday and they made us feel very special. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay at the Lemon Tree. It is beautifully renovated and staff were attentive. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Room was small and required stairs so may not be for everyone. And parking can be a bit tight but it is free and plentiful. Able to walk to Racecourse Grounds within 15 minutes , a huge plus.

The food was very good, room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff friendly and efficient. Property a bit worn and on a busy road, but quiet at night. Nothing fancy, but a comfortable place for a one night stopover.

Location excellent, staff friendly and attentive, breakfast superb. The room was very small, especially the bathroom which also had a slight smell coming from the sink, but we got a good nights sleep.

Very nice hotel just outside the town. Our room on the ground floor was quite small but with everything you would need. The bathroom was tiny and did require some tlc around the shower area. We had breakfast there which was excellent. Good fresh food and very well cooked. Has parking but the spaces were a little challenging! Would recommend.

Nice hotel in a quiet area. Easy walk to the city center and football stadium. Would recommend this hotel if you’re planning a visit to Wrexham.

Friendly helpful staff, close to town and close to the Racecourse. Had a very nice stay, room a bit small for 2 people but it was clean.

This was a great boutique hotel with a nice bar and restaurant. It was an easy walk to the Wrexham AFC game and close to the center of town and the train station. It was spotlessly clean and we had coffee and tea service in the room.

I wouldnt return, dont be fooled by pictures online rooms are so small and tiny and please take ear plugs if you intend on sleeping before 11pm as loud music from restaurant below you hear very well in your room. View from room was of a big metal bin and houses. No decent explanation of overflow car park until we arrived. Wouldnt return and as for hotel manager well he refused to cancel my booking a day after i booked it not good customer service. Wouldnt recommend going.

Nice location to the Wrexam FC stadium. The Lemon Tree restaurant was amazing! We decided to pay for the Valentine's Day tasting menu and it was really top notch food! Unfortunately, we just had one minor hitch on our trip when the lock on the door broke and we were not able to get out of our room the next morning. There were no telephones in the room, so we used our mobile phones to contact the hotel website number to report our predicament. We were told that they would contact the manager who was apparently not available on site. This could have been an extreme fire hazard at worst and a big inconvenience at best. When no one came to let us out after 15 minutes or so (and we had reservations downstairs for breakfast), my husband was able to use a spoon to jar the lock lose so that we could get out of the room. We went downstairs and reported the incidence at the restaurant because the manager had still not made it there. The restaurant staff felt very badly as they were not even aware that we were stuck in our room upstairs and gave us a complimentary breakfast, which was very nice. It all worked out in the end but I would say this restaurant/hotel needs to have staff on hand and phones in the room so that someone could be reached in such a situation in a timely manner.

Was conveniently located close to everything. Its a very quite area, the staff were great. Highly recommend staying here. The restaurant was very good as well.

The Lemon Tree was a great spot for our stop for a football match in Wrexham. The room was dated and not in the best shape, but we the service was great and it was quiet. We also had the BEST meals of our trip in the restaurant. Absolutely incredible cuisine. Thank you!

A beautiful property! Situated close to the reason we were there - WREXHAM AFC! Wonderful drink options in the bar, fantastic breakfast, amazing oat cappuccino (priorities), and a beautiful, clean little room for the night. We had a wonderful stay and will most likely stay again when we come back for another match.

The property was near the train and near the pitch.

Very convenient and charming place to stay.
