Pleasant hotel in the Casamierz district. About 20 min walk to the Old Town. Room comfy (with minbar and room safe) and staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast very basic but cheap at 6GBP a head.

It is a great little place, the room was small but the whole decor was beautiful.
Great service people and wonderful location.

The only negative was the ongooing renovation, causing fine white dust everywhere - this will end! Hotel Ester is a nice hotel, well located for the lively Kazimierz area.

This is a fun place to stay in the Jewish Quarter, with many truly excellent restaurant options available, including the hotel restaurant. The room was quite clean, very quiet, and charming. The only problem was the WiFi. It was only accessible in the reception area and restaurant. I was unable to access it in my room (on the first floor). I told the staff every day I could not access it. One person said she would have the router restarted, but others would just shrug.

Nice small hotel in the old city and the old jewish quarter with many memories

It is a relatively small and older hotel. The room I had, 24, was large. Curious triangular bathtub with shower. It was 100% silent at night, as it was on the inner side of the hotel, so no view.

Our group had a lovely visit and would certainly return to the same location as there is nothing we could find fault with.

It was comfortable enough to sleep in and to come back home to after long walking tours. Location is absolutely awesome though.

It was fantastic! This is a convenient location, easy to get to the center and a very nice relaxing place to stay!

Krakow is definitely worth visiting, and the Ester was nicely located for older Jewish historical sites. Good restaurants, including the one at the Ester, were close by. The staff was so helpful but the rooms and facilities were "tired".

Great hotel in the centre of Kazmierz. Lovely room, great breakfasts. The reception could not be more helpful, from printing out train tickets to arranging trips to the Salt Mine.
Would definitely stay there again.

Booked for our 20th wedding anniversary, staff upgraded our room and put wine and flowers in the room. Service was superb and the staff were extremely friendly, hotel is in a superb location within reasonable walking distance of all the attractions and restaurants, bars etc.

Clean and comfortable hotel in the Jewish Area of Krakow. Lovely breakfast.

A nice hotel for a short stay in Krakow. However, on our second night a large party of around 30 teenagers arrived at midnight and the noise was horrendous. When speaking to reception the following day there was no manager on duty as it was a public holiday! We were reassured the noise would be controlled the following night but it was still noisy on the corridor outside our room. I had to ask them to keep the noise down myself!

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this cosy and atmospheric hotel in the heart of Kazimierz. The staff were helpful and courteous and the breakfasts were good - buffet style. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, warm (while the weather was very cold and snowy outside) and had a nice view out over the Square below. It is pretty, characterful and intimate - an antidote to soulless corporate chain hotels. The decor is quite dark and traditional (lots of wood) but of good quality and recent. The facilities in the room were all of a high standard.

Room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived but that was quickly rectified. Room was great apart from the frame of the bed. I have bruised and battered shins and knees! Mini bar fridge wasn't much use - very noisy and not very cold! Breakfast was fine. Hotel a 5 min walk to the local square of Kazimerez. Plenty of restaurants and quirky bars. 15-20 min walk to Krakow centre. Loads going on there. Loved Krakow! Auschwitz is a very haunting, sobering place but a must!

The hotel description listed rooms in general, however, when we arrived and were shown to the room, it was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. It claimed to have a number of item in the rooms such as bath robes none were found. When I enquired, I was told they were only in the more expensive rooms. The hotel claims to be a spa but only thing they had was a sauna which you had to pay extra for. Treatments were done by people coming to the hotel and doing them in your room, if there was enough room. The hotel claims 4star rating I would find it difficult to rate it 3star. When I complained about the room they did upgrade us but only at an extra charge. I would not return.

Very comfortable hotel..................glad there was air con as temperatures were high in July!
Great area to stay in Jewish quarter as lovely restaurants and music in the evening.
2.5
nice hotel in a good location lots of bars restaurants on your doorstep but not to noisy at night . Staff very friendly and helpful good breakfasts tea coffee in rooms but never any milk but if you ask at the bar they will gladly give you some. Rooms and corridors very dark but that's the norm in eastern Europe because its an old country with lots of history.
2.5
Great hotel great location would highly recommend hotel ester is a lovely hotel located inthe heart of the Jewish quarter
With easy access to the main square

We loved staying at the Hotel Ester. The room that we were in was kind of quaint, however, after the first couple of days, we found that it wasn't easy to function it. The room was not very big, and the bed has wooden footboards that we kept bumping into. The bathroom had a cute corner tub, but it was not easy to use the shower to wash hair, etc.
The hotel itself was very clean and the location was great. We tried several of the restaurants on the square, and were able to catch the trolley only a few blocks away. The parking situation was also very good.
The breakfast buffet was not huge, but then again neither was the hotel. I would stay there again, however, I might ask for a different room.

i thought that the dark brown colour-scheme meant the place a felt a bit gloomy, despite the pleasantness of the staff and the quality of the fixtures. And the hotel lacked a lounge.
We enjoyed the resident music group, but if you did not like music, or this music...........
