Can not recommend enough - have had the best holiday, really helpful staff and great accommodation

I had a really relaxing stay over four nights in Dec 2022. The reception staff were excellent both at check in and check out. Cleaning was thorough each day. The pool areas are lovely and the location excellent for the beach. The only small negative is being charged an extra 4 Euros per day for a room safe, which I've not experienced before. When you're paying 150 Euros per night for a "Gold" hotel it does feel like a budget hotel additional charge.

First time in this hotel and was really pleased with it. The bedroom was great with a south facing balcony. Rooms are cleaned every two days with fresh towels and bedding. The beds are really comfortable which is a bonus. The only downside is the situ of the toilet. Being a big girl makes it tricky, well let’s leave that there. All staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The pool area is amazing. Breakfast was included in our stay which was good, even had a choice of non dairy milks.

Very clean hotel with friendly and helpfull staff. Not overly crowded pool area, comfortable sun beds, and a nice poolbar with good food and drinks. We will be back!

Great hotel; the food at the hotel was amazing, and the staff were fantastic. Loved every second of my 5-day break. I will definitely be visiting again.

We had a lovely week in this hotel. The staff are super friendly, and very helpful. Our room was on the 8th floor, with a nice view, and the kitchenette was super! Bathroom is on the smaller side, but nice and clean. Will definitely visit again, if we go back to Gran Canaria.

I always use Gold for accommodation in Gran Canaria and never disappointed! Staff of all areas were amazing, so friendly and genuine. I can’t wait to be back there again.

Beautiful pool! Super friendly staff! Phenomenal location! Near the Yumbo but also not so close that you can’t be away from the craziness there either.

This hotel is spectacular. The attention to detail is wonderful. The general retro vibe is continued throughout the entire building from design and furnishings right down to the font used in it's signage. An ubercool space with a great pool and super comfortable sun loungers. The food at La Palmeira Sur restaurant at the front of the building was imaginative and possibly the best restaurant in Maspalomas. Definitely Michelin star quality and invention. Will definately be staying here on future visits.

Beautiful hotel, always clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We ate breakfast here a couple of times and it was a good selection. The room was spacious and the shower was huge, never had any issues with hot water or low pressure either. Would definitely stay here again.

We found the hotel to have a high standard of service, cleanliness and breakfast. Good to see COVID challenges being taken seriously. Very good position for restaurants and bars in the area, Close to the beach and to Yumbo and buses. We liked the small kitchen with nice free coffee and water. Suggest to include tea :) and a wash (face) cloth to the towel selection.

I have to say the staff make this hotel excellent. Their service and attention to your needs is second to none. I encountered different staff, reception, cleaning, poolside, and all very attentive to your needs. My flight was 5hrs after checkout, they made arrangement to keep my luggage whilst I went to beach , and gave me a room to shower and change before heading off for my flight. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. For the price I was expecting a bit more luxury than I saw, but the service makes up for this by a long mile. I’ll recommend this place.

We had the most wonderful week at Gold By Marina. It was a very comfortable hotel, with very friendly welcoming staff. Brilliant breakfast with a very unique feel. Lovely pool with lots of space to sun bathe comfortably. Very comfortable bed and great amenities in the room. Great big shower. Close to the beach and close to the Yumbo! Would love to stay again in the future ….

Excellent hotel, we’ve stayed in a few hotel in GC and this is probably our favourite so far. The hotel was apparently full, but there was always plenty of loungers and space. Lovely pool area and top service from reception to the pool bar. Make sure you dine at the hotel restaurant, GC isn’t a place for fine dining generally, but this was the best food we had in our stay.

We had an amazing stay at Gold! The best welcome by Christina with a welcome drink. The room was modern and really nice! The hotel was perfect for us - quiet, stylish and clean. Excellent service by entire staff! Fabulous breakfast with chef to make your perfect eggs or pancakes. We really recommend the AirPort transfer organised by the Hotel - so easy and really nice and comfy cars. We will most definately come back to Gold, our now favourite Hotel at Gran Canaria! 🎉🎉🎉

Really nice hotel. Highly recommended. Very clean and felf very safe here in these Covid times. Handy for local shops and bars. Couldn't fault the service here from Reception to restaurant staff. If we can will come back again

A truly enjoyable stay. Friendly hotel staff and an ideal location - around 7 minutes walk to the beach, about 5 minutes walk to Yumbo and a local supermarket next door. The hotel rooms were clean, modern and spacious with a lovely balcony to enjoy breakfast and watch the sunset.

Third time back at Gold and they have managed to keep the constancy of the excellent service. Some subtle improvements and an impressive restaurant by reception, great meal. The staff , some of them who have been there for a few years are charming and know how to deliver unfussy relaxed five star service. Will be back as our preference hotel in the area.

Staff very friendly. Room was nice and a good size overlooking the swimming pools. Different set up regarding the bathroom though. Staff were cleaning and hoovering even into the night.

Can’t wait to book to go again. This was the best holiday we’ve been on. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by really friendly staff who gave us a glass of bubbly while we checked in. The hotel room was amazing everything you could want and more. The hotel has different things happening each day whether it’s a drink with the general manager or a pool side DJ. The staff were extremely helpful and made recommendations where to go for food and things to do during our holiday. Anything we needed they were on hand to help with. The breakfast was brilliant anything you could want they had including a chef to cook any extra items. The food they serve by the pool side was really great too. All the little touches provided by the staff at the hotel made this the best holiday we’ve been on. We’d recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff were helpful and friendly. All said hello from cleaners to receptionists. The hotel was kept very clean and rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from beach but no problem . Good position for local facilities. Would go again .

Clean, modern and comfortable room with nice bathroom and big shower cubicle. Kitchenette has more facilities than needed. Bottled water every day is nice touch. Room cleaned daily. Friendly staff. Good location close to beach, shops, bakeries, supermarket and loads of restaurants. Very ‘gay-friendly’ hotel if that is important to you, but equally great for heterosexual couples.

Was looking forward to checking out this hotel after checking their website, interested to see how they would deliver on their very strong style / vintage concept. Fortunately they have got it completely right and it was better than I could have hoped. Additionally they have stuck to the concept without loosing any of the warmth, the staff are all friendly, relaxed and customer focused. Loved their non uniforms and the relaxed vibe, very Miami south beach without the 8 hour flight, what's not to like. Breakfast great and the food in the pool restaurant was freshly made and a better option for dinner than most restaurants in the immediate area. Ouiet street although in the centre of everything and a few minutes walk from beach. Unfortunately now I cannot stay anywhere else when on the island.
