The young lady that checked me in super sweet! She is new can’t remember her name

The service was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, even when there were issues concerning double payment they were able to handle it and were very nice about it. The only issues my partner and I had with the specific Candlewood (because we've stayed at these hotels before) were that this specific one was a little outdated and the security of the hotel was lacking. There was a back door to enter into the hotel that required the room key to enter, but the lock system didn't work and the door was simply unlocked and you can go in and out at any time. That made us uncomfortable especially because the first room by that back door was our room, so it felt a little unsafe.

It was a little bit of a let down. I’ve stayed with this company before but simple things were missing. There were no towels in the restroom and only one extra pillow for the sleeper sofa but those linens didn’t have a blanket. We were able to get those things but it just seemed like there was no concern to get the room ready for guests.

There was no plug for bathtub. I stayed over a week and they never changed my sheets and housekeeping never came but once the day before I left. And I was overcharged.

Room was nice, front desk attendant was polite on checking in and also on check out. We will definitely consider this hotel if we need another overnight in Beaumont.

Overall a nice location though I do prefer the other building designs that have a larger outdoor area for the BBQ grills.

Old facility that had a funky smell. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. NO room cleaning between nights. The front desk at night was pleasant upon arrival but seemed like they could care less in the morning. I left 2 nights earlier on my reservation. Will not book here again.

From walking in and getting warm greetings from Talitha in the front desk. To a smooth check in. Our room was comfy, clean and it was big enough to sleep a family of 6. And checking out my son lost his cowboy hat and someone turned it in. How awesome is that!! Thanks again for a great stay and a good night rest for our trip.

Staff was very accommodating as the toilet in the first room assigned was not working properly. Free pre-made coffee should at least be offered.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It was a last minute booking. I got a lot of bang for my buck. I wasn’t expecting to have a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher , a microwave, and a couch in my room. For less than $100. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at the had dove soap. I need to use dove for my sensitive skin. Excellent hotel.

Horrible hotel very outdated will not return very unclean

The rooms are not sound proof. So I could here everything outside and upstairs. I didnt get much sleep. Other then that customer service was great and the rooms were good.

My stay was very quiet-even though the site is located right off of the ever-busy interstate

Our stay at Candlewood Suites was relaxing. Front Desk staff Talitha & Kendra, were very friendly and helped us with all our needs. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone. We will definitely make this our hotel when we travel to Beaumont again.

Mrs/Ms Talitha is always a great help for me when. I’m on my business trips! She doesn’t stop until everything is squared away for me! Love her energy and her service!

Looked for pet friendly because we have a 6lb Shih Tzu. After checking in was charged $75 for pet fee. So paid for a whole room for pet. Non refundable and 12pm so had no choice. Red roof no charge for pet others maybe $20. Never again.

The hotel does not have parking at the lobby. At check in there was a delay due to a mix up with a reservation of another couple. It took 25 minutes to check in. The bed was smaller than advertised. Will probably stay at another hotel in the same area next time.

There was no heat, the fire alarm stayed on all night, and no running water. I had to leave because I was so cold.

The staff upon check in and check out was great. The complimentary laundry washing machines and dryers was a first for me, I’m a truck driver and have stayed at many hotels across the states and none of the ones I have stayed at offered this. To have this is amazing and much appreciated. The room was very clean and not sure what type of air freshener they use but it smelled so fresh and so good. Extremely different from the regular hotel smells. Only issues I had was toilet did not flush well, tub drained extremely slow, ice maker only produced 2 pieces of ice in an hr and all kitchen ware provided was still in the dishwasher and missing items. There was a pitcher top but no pitcher, 1 Tupperware no top. All in all the cleanness of the room, the above and beyond staff made my stay enjoyable. I will add I did NOT call and complain about my issues as I’m sure if I did they would have addressed it right away. I definitely will stay again and recommend to all my fellow truckers. Thank you Candlewood staff for making me feel welcome.

Would never book at this location again. I stayed for night and transferred to another hotel. The room smelled like mold, no breakfast provided and the front desk "man" was rude.
