The stay itself was great, just the water there in Clearlake was very disappointing. Just to come so far to enjoy the water and it was so bad... However the stay at Clearlake Marina and cottage was great, the property was lovley....

Lovely lakefront cottage with a great kitchenette perfect for making breakfast in! The cottage was clean and well equipped! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Bob was an excellent host. Both my cabin and the property were immaculate. Great place-I'll be back.

Very nice family friendly place and affordable

Opon arrival,moved to another unit due to ants in prior unit. Entered adjusted unit to smell of urine and staff cleaned upon notified. Latern at entry to unit didnot work and staff offerred lantern instead for sdafety fixing the next day. unable at first to work shower and staff needed to show us how to use as it was an outdated showerhead. Sink in bathroom had large knife cuts in sink. Nice property for fisherman and cute cottage. It appeared many of the other cottages were in much better condition than ours. Had a small doggie sheet given for room?? Never heard of that. Checkin/checkout all remote and needed to sign agreement that had the guest do several housekeeping chores when departing. Disappointed in rundown condition of town of ClearLake. Property much better than condition though than surrounding area. Will not return.

Great location, right next to the lake, with partial lake views from the porch. Check-in and check out were seamless. Staff were super responsive. Room was clean and interiors seem to have been recently remodeled

Check in process was easy; veranda and lake view was awesome, though only two veranda chairs for a 4 person unit. Everything was clean and kitchenware was adequate. Hot water and shower were good, and two vanities helped w girls v boys needs. Though a paper bag was left on the kitchen table w coffee and bathroom supplies, we did not realize until the next day to look for soap and shampoo etc in that bag. It would have been better to: 1) tell lodgers in the info ring binder that these supplies were there , and 2) have enough supplies for the number of people due to stay, specifically shampoo etc. We were promised a dog bed so didn’t bring our pup’s bed but all they had was a sheet and towel for the dog. The dog food dishes were great, as well as the frisbee. For us, the worst were this beds. Some of our party are “bigger people” and the bed mattress was such that one of our family was forced to sleep on the couch after the first very sleep-deprived night. Also, as we were there during cold and rainy weather, having a couple of available blankets would have been good.

What a fantastic cabin located right on the lake. To look out our window at water with no obstructions was priceless. The cabin was in perfect condition with everything we needed to cook our meals and BBQ. The onsite manager, Bob, couldn't have been nicer. We wanted to BBQ so badly but it was raining. He came out anyway and started the grill and gave us all the utensils. We will be back.

Clean and roomy 2 queen room, heard ducks in the mornings. Absolutely stellar location, and management could not have been more helpful. Just lovely, thank you so much.

Very clean and nicely situated on property

The comfort started with the friendly one on one communication with Bob, and as we talked his wonderful offer to upgrade our room to a bit more accessible room so my boyfriend (who doesn't always walk comfortably) could park right in front of our cottage...just such a comfy vibe. Then when we arrived at our wonderful and secure cottage in a really lovely area of Clear Lake Bob stopped by with goodies for us and our pup...so nice! We watched a lovely sunset behind Mount Konocti while we drank our champagne, then went to Howard's Grotto for a fabulous Prime Rib and Filet Mignon dinner. We had a wonderful stay. Only a few critiques: The heater fan (which pumped out delicious heat) was quite noisy all night. I also like a very dark room to sleep in but the shades did not provide that (black out curtains of some kind would be nice). The very roomy shower (nice) did not really crank out the kind of hot water my boyfriend and I enjoy. It was hot but would have liked it hotter. But these were minor issues compared to the very beautiful place and the warm hospitality shown by Bob, the manager. A real gem. We will return again!

Beautiful area and will want to stay here again. Comfortable room

The cottage was nice enough. I was not pleased with the "no contact" check-in. Seems there were pages and pages of regulations to dig through, and a lot of questions to be answered. I did receive the link prior to my visit, but being on the road I could not fill them all out until I arrived. I did call the number, and was able to provide the pertinent information over the phone (CC number, etc.)

Bugs in room, pool and lake closed

The cottage was very cute and quiet which was nice. The property needs to be cleaned up around the cottages piles of leaves between cottages, trash on one side of the cottage we stayed in.

Extremely accommodating and friendly manager. The property was by far the nicest property in clear lake. I was a resident of lake county for about 12 years and there is nothing around as nice as this property. It will be the only place we go back to.

Lakefront property will boat ramp, barbeque, fishing.

We found the Clear Lake Cottages and Marina to be very enjoyable. Our stay was for only one night, but we will happily come again for a longer stay in the future.

MY 3RD STAY IN CLEAR LAKE AND, BY FAR, THIS IS THE BEST RESORT. ROOM WAS EMACULATE. BED COMFORTABLE WITH NICE COMFORTER. LATE MODEL TV, UNFORTUNATELY, COFFEE MACHINE DIDN'T WORK. BUT I'D RETURN ANYWAY. NOT FANCY BUT CHARMING, AND COMFORTBLE.. A REAL TREAT FOR FUR BABIES.

Our cottage view was just like the picture, but even BETTER! The room was huuuuuge, and newly remodeled with beautiful wood flooring and tiled bathroom. Full kitchen, and lots of windows to enjoy the incredible view. We went in March, so it was not busy, but the weather was like Spring. So peaceful, it was just what we needed to unwind. We'll definitely stay here again!

The room keys provided did not work for our cottage

The staff and owners are spectacular! The property is perfect for the area. It is close to the lake, shopping, restaurants, and is safe.

Property don't really allow dog to get on sofa or bed, it's kind of restricted. There is penalty if break the rule. But it keep the property clean, pet fee is acceptable. Due to this condition, we decided not to bring our pet.
