We had a one-week amazing stay on the second floor with our own balcony. The room was very inviting and the many activity facilities of the hotel was enough for us to always stay stimulated. Very friendly staff. Would warmly recommend.

Overall the hotel and facilities were ok. I noticed a dried up contact lense on the bathroom floor from the previous occupant, so cleaning could have been better.
I paid for my stay on arrival and was asked again to pay when leaving. Upon informing them I had paid and showing them the bank transaction I was treated rather rudley with no one seeming to believe me despite the clear proof. This was clearly a mistake they had made and rather than an appolgy and thanking me for my stay they simply informed me I could leave. Reception staff could work on their manners. Ruined what was othwise an alright time.

Very Bad Food, we both got sick from it. Spend 2 days in the bathroom. Cold and undercooked eggs at the breakfast. Very rude staf at the reception, arrogant and not willing to help you. There a just 2 elevators working for all those floors. you will have to wait very long time to get down of up. Far away from other restaurant, supermarkets or other facilities. Cleaners just walk in the room while you are asleep. Very Bad, not 4 star rating hotel! More like 2 stars. Not a hotel for couples or friends.

Had to chsnge room on arrival as there were bedbugs on the bed, new room wasnt cleaned properly had to get the cleamers to clean the room twice beofre it was actually cleaned to a normal standard. Hotel is dateed and tired, staff were friendly and helpful.

At best it is a 3-star hotel, Room size and cleanliness are acceptable. The biggest letdown is the services that they can offer as standard, and it comes down to a single table tennis table for which you can obtain rackets by paying a deposit. Otherwise, everything else is extra and it does not matter if it is all-inclusive or not.
I think the Thallaso bit is oversold or missold at best on the actual Expedia page, as it is not included and it is not worth 35£ for 2 hrs. Some of the council-run leisure centers have better facilities and they need to reconsider the decision on charging for that section of the stay.
The heated Pool at the 9th floor is really small and it is again a paid facility, I really struggle to understand the rating on Expedia and it is worth reconsidering.

We had a fabulous time at Gloria Palace in Gran Canaria! The hotel was beautiful, and our family room was amazing with an ocean view! All the pools were great, the spa was relaxing and breathtaking, and all the staff were so helpful and nice!

Had a wonderful stay at Gloria Palace San Augustin. We were staying on an all inclusive package which was incredibly good value for money. The food was great quality with so much choice. The hotel itself has great facilities and the staff are lovely and very helpful. The spa was a real highlight.

Overall good, but the sunterrace needs reshaping. To many guests and to few sunbeds and specialy to few sunumbrellas.
Also a probelem that people early in the morning marks the sunbeds and expect to use them later in the day.

Ideal for families as there is a lot of entertainment/activities for the children. Parking at the hotel itself is near impossible so we parked off the main road throughout our stay.

Good restaurants in the shopping centre nearby if you didn't want to eat in the hotel all inclusive.
The included breakfast was a bonus and set you up for the day and the rooftop bar restaurant and sun lounging area is a must.
Takeaway wasn't allowed from the hotel snack bar as the hotel preferred you to pay for room service which was a shame.

Very nice hotel. Clean, modern and well maintained. Very friendly staff and helpful. Good facilities, very good breakfast options. Good location, close to beaches and transport options to other parts of island. The spa and thalassotherapy excellent. Recommended if looking for a quieter location but close enough to busier spots.

Fint hotell med fina lokaler och OK mat. Städningen klart sämre sen senast. Samma sandkorn kvar på golvet tills jag sa ifrån. En dag inget papper kvar på toaletten efter städerskan besök. Lite olika besked om taxitransfer till flygplatsen. Denna gången en besvikelse.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Indoor pool is not included and costs 36€pp for 1 hour. Rooftop pool is not included, costs 8€ for one day. Rooms were dirty, insects in bathroom, and gave us dirty stained towels. We had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door, yet our room was still cleaned which is a major invasion of privacy. Food is the worst i’ve ever had (avoid at all costs), and entertainment is so loud and goes on until midnight. The pool that was included was dirty and had dirt floating around in it constantly. The only good thing was the location.

Stayed here about 5 years ago & have to say standards have slipped. Even though evening dress code says long trousers for men there is no one at the restaurant entrance as before to enforce hence men coming in for the evening meal in cut out Tee shirts, shorts & flip flops. Also the food has slipped to average many times only being warm hence having to use the microwave they supplied.The room was clean but tea & coffee replenishment was hit & miss each day. We stayed the previous two weeks before at the Gloria Palace Amadores which was a much better choice,classed as 4* but with tweeks could be 5* whereas the Gloria Palace San Agustin I would rate a high 3*. The management would help themselves a lot by spending a week at the Gloria Palace Amadores & seeing how it's run.

Pools were great, large and deep with a walk-down slope for those less experienced.
However, there didn't seem to be any enforcement of the hotel's rule about not using towels to reserve (hog) sun loungers!
The quality of the evening live entertainment was variable...one of the acts (a large chap, he was a singer who had the 'Macarena' in his repertoire) was v good, as was the acrobats. However some of the other acts (other singers) were a bit dull. All of them sang to pre-recorded music, bit disappointing, would have been good to have a live piano or guitar or something,
