We arrived at the Brass Lantern B&B on the day before the Sound of Music Concert in Stowe VT. A quaint location in town and we were able to visit the sites before the concert and enjoyed the Meet and Greet at the Trapp Family Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, the unique breakfasts, and the staff. The only negative was the weather; rained !!!

The Inn provided a serene retreat with in room fireplaces. The highlight our stay was homemade breakfast, featuring locally sourced ingredients and seasonal flavors and the outdoor hot tub was awesome.
The innkeepers' genuine hospitality set this B&B apart, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. The Brass Lantern Bed and Breakfast is a hidden gem in Stowe. A place where charm, comfort, and genuine hospitality converge to create an unforgettable experience. Bravo will be going back when in town again if available now that I left this 5 star review !! It’s always been a dream of mine to stay in a bed and breakfast in Vermont during fall and Brass Lantern exceeded my expectations. Such a relaxing vibe with excellent service and stunning beauty! Our room was beautiful, cozy, and comfortable! Only downside was our one night stay was not long enough!

My husband and I have been frequent visitors to the Stowe area throughout the years, but this was our first stay at the Brass Lantern Inn. We were very pleased with our stay and our hosts, Don and Andrew. We definitely will stay here again in the future.

The Inn was cute. Our room was on the lower level down a flight of 12 stairs. The room was tight especially the bathroom. The fireplace was delightful on a rainy night. Don was a wonderful host. The breakfast was delicious. The waffles with sugared cranberries were exceptional.

We have an amazing time at The Brass Lantern Inn during our stay in Stowe. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had a full run down of everything when we arrived. The breakfast was spot on every morning and they kindly sorted out some food for my wife on one of the mornings when she felt unwell. There were also stunning views of the local area and mountains which could be enjoyed from the hot tub. We would 100% visit again.

Don and his staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating during our 3 days. Great energy and engaging. Wonderful breakfast and evening snacks along with the ability to have coffee, tea and water all day and night. We went skiing early one morning and we were able to get an excellent breakfast sandwich and other snacks to go. Close to downtown Stowe (10min walk). Great ambiance throughout the inn and would definitely go back if and when we return for any season.

This property has changed hands in the last several months.Everything went well but there are a few things that needs to be changed on their page.There was no tv in the room and was not served a Vermont breakfast also we did not receive our free bottle of wine and they didn’t even mention anything about it.

Easy check-in; host gave us a tour of their facility which included 24-hr access to coffee, tea and shared refrigerator; hot tub available 10am-10pm! free breakfast with wonderful food! Close to downtown Stowe. Only negatives: we had to haul our luggage up & down a 15-step staircase to our Madonna Peak room; no elevator; the smoke detector over the bathroom door flashed bright green every 5-10 seconds all night long, making it hard to fall asleep.

We loved our stay here! We were at Brass Lantern for just a couple days but definitely want to come back again.
I think the best parts are the amazing breakfasts and the inn keepers. They make delicious food and also are so hospitable. The coffee is also superb - I’m a bit of a coffee snob and their coffee was excellent.
The bed was also very comfortable and I loved the afternoon/evening snacks. The homemade blueberry pie was outstanding!
I hope we can come back again soon to visit. We love this place and the city of Stowe.

These hosts are truly wonderful folks. This Inn has a lovely first floor with lots of sitting areas. Though I was there in the summer the fireplace looked very inviting. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, the service couldn't be better. There is always a homemade sweet treat in the evening. It would have been nice to have some muffins or quick bread available along with the coffee before 8:00 am for us early risers or on the tables for breakfast when you sit down. We stayed in the "economy" room which was very small with no sitting space or desk. The owners are incredibly sweet and anxious to please. I would stay again, but in a larger room.

The Brass Lantern is the perfect place to stay when you’re in Stowe! The innkeepers went above and beyond to make us feel at home and we instantly felt like part of the family. The room was perfect for our family of 3 and our 12 year old son loved his first stay at a B&B! The views are unmatched and the breakfast was spectacular and delicious everyday! The inn is close to all the attractions and trails in Stowe, you really can’t beat the location. We also really enjoyed the evening treats with coffee and tea and the game room to play board games and just relax like at home. We eagerly anticipate our next stay at the Brass Lantern!

My husband and I visited for a very short stay in December 2021. We loved the Inn so much, we decided to do another weekend trip in April. The Brass Lantern is really the perfect B&B! The innkeepers are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Stowe and the surrounding areas and made wonderful recommendations for us. The room was charming, very cozy. And the breakfasts!! George has definitely mastered the art of B&B breakfasts!! Everything served was amazing, gorgeous presentation and the right amount for a fulfilling and delicious way to start our mornings. Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay - we'll definitely be back!!
