Enjoyed most of our stay the pool was excellent and warm loved it the hot tub way to hot. bed comfortable room was nice the breakfast not so good. the sausage was dry and the fruit I found spoiled ones no orange juice, and watered down apple juice.

We rarely get what we pay for at hotels these days so staying at the Hampton was a refreshing change. No complaints for our one night stay. Clean & comfortable throughout with friendly, helpful staff who seemed to enjoy their jobs. Breakfast area was spacious and inviting. Excellent selection of food and beverages.

Clean room. Ran out of coffee at 8 a.m. Difficult to find anyone to tell this so it could be remedied. Tried to call hotel to see about an item left behind. Could not leave a message or reach anyone to inquire. Opted to send an email. Hopefully I will hear back.Hotel is in close proximity to fantastic restaurant--Destihl. Also close to shopping.

The night light in the bathroom was burned out. We had to keep the bathroom light on with the door cracked so it wasn't completely dark in case we needed to get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Other than that it was a decent room.

Great amenities for an affordable price

We initially booked one night at the hotel, but decided to extend our trip for another night before we even checked in. Unfortunately, there were no rooms available for two nights so we had to check out and recheck in to a different room for the second night. The first room was dirty, smelled musty, there was mold around the shower, and the toilet paper holder was hanging by one rod. The second room actually started off OK, but then we noticed ants in the garbage can. We put the garbage can outside of the room for the night and then went to bed. When we woke up, there were ants everywhere, even in the bed. Completely disgusting! Also, the showerhead was horrible. There was very little pressure. Water only came out of one cluster of holes at a time, but would alternate from the left to the right, to the left, etc. I felt like I was playing a game of wack a mole trying to get wet. I will never stay at this hotel again which is a shame because it used to be a nice place several years ago. The owners obviously are not putting money into their investment. Very disappointing.

Refrigerator made loud noise, toilet was so low and small, like in a nursery and very loud to flush. Air conditioning did I not maintain temp. Not a good Hampton Inn

All was good except the sausages they have for breakfast. Need to have real sausage and or bacon.

My family was very happy with our stay. When I arrived to check in the front desk wasn't sure if our room was ready, so I left my phone number and we went for ice cream. We hadn't been gone for 5 minutes when they called saying the room was ready. I appreciate them valuing my time and not asking me to sit around in the lobby with my young kids. The pool area was very warm, which makes for a more enjoyable swimming experience. The staff checked in periodically to make sure there were plenty of towels as there were a lot of people using the pool. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast options were good although I wish they had a waffle or pancake maker. We stay in the area as a half way point and will do so again in the future.

We were there one night and it was fine. No bugs, clean, nice smelling room with somewhat comfortable mattresses. Would stay there again.

Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and nicely. We found the bed to be comfortable. Breakfast was good, staff member kept items replenished. Nice hotel for a good price. Only negative was first impression after getting off the elevator was horrible. The hallway carpet was very stained and either needed to be shampoed of replaced. When we opened the door to our room we were pleasantly surprised that our room carpet was clean and not anything like that in the hallway.

Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Great breakfast and nice, friendly staff. We have stayed regularly, but pool area no longer kept up and hot tub hasn’t been working last couple times. If this is resolved would definitely return.

I didn’t have high expectations of the property for the age and price. I was truly blown away by the friendliness of the staff and their attentiveness to visitors. I do agree with other reviews that the carpets definitely could use a cleaning, however beyond that everything was spotless and I couldn’t bring myself to take a star off for just the carpets. Beddings were clean, high touch areas were wiped down, all lights and in room appliances were clean and in working order, and there were an appropriate number of towels for our party. The pool edge was freshly painted, pool and hot tub were both clean and in working order. Fresh towels were available at the pool and hallway was kept wiped down with wet floor signs. Breakfast was hot, well stocked and tables were clean. Check out was extremely quick and pleasant as an employee was already ready for us at the desk. We continued on to a remodeled Hampton in Kentucky after checking out and discovered we were much happier at the Normal, IL location and staff. Great job to everyone here!

Our stay was good. We did have a very difficult time opening and closing the door to our room. The concierge had to help us initially. Needless to say, The entry door stuck horribly every single time we needed to open it. The bathroom door had the same issue. I did notice a crack along the ceiling as well as one coming down the wall. I’m not sure if the door issues should be of a bigger concern due to structural issues. Hopefully the hotel takes a deeper look into the issue.

The stay was okay, a major issue was not addressed while we were there. We got to the room and the only outlets that worked were the ones with their appliances plugged in. We even bought a brand new phone charger and it did not work either. The receptionist wrote it down and said she would get maintenance up there asap, but they did not come. The electronics were very dusty but otherwise clean and nice stay.
