Amazing hotel has a good location, accessible to the downtown on walking. The staff is super friendly and kind. I recommend it to anyone. Also, the brunch is made every day with good and fresh products.

A lovely hotel nestled just outside of the city center. The pool area lacks great wifi reception, and while they have food and beverage service throughout the hotel, I’d pass on the food. The breakfast is well appointed, especially with the fresh fruit. However, any food through the expanded daily menu was not tasty. The pool deck chairs seemed a bit dirty, so you’ll want a towel. Luckily, the hotel provides daily, complimentary towels for the pool or beach. Overall, the rooms were spacious, comfy, and clean. The staff was very friendly and the ease of street parking makes this hotel worth the value.

One of the best hotels we stayed in Brazil . I’m very picky about cleaning and this one was very clean. Everything (flooring, bed, walls, windows, curtains, furniture in excellent condition) and I loved the decor. Balcony was so nice with a large space, a table and a hammock looking at the most beautiful views. The staff was very helpful and there were no waiting in line or waiting too long for checking in. The location is perfect! A 15 minute walk to the center and to the beaches.. I highly recommend this place.

Really good hotel breakfast could have more variety and didn’t like that you got free scrambled eggs but had to pay for an omelette.. same thing isn’t it

Staff was amazing from the moment we arrived. It was raining so they ran out with a umbrella for us. They took our bags straight to the rooms. Also when we decided to extended our stay in Buzios and there hotel was booked, they offered to help us take our bags across the street to the new hotel. Hotel was very clean and in good condition. Will definitely be staying here again.

Búzios over rated, over crowded and over priced as are the hotels which this is one. Location excellent. Rooms not particularly clean and need of tlc. Breakfast very average. £3 extra for omelette!

An excellent location and truly luxurious rain forrest surroundings, rooms were big with balcony. Perfect for a hide away relaxing holiday

What a gorgeous place with the best view of the greenery in buzios. Perfect location for evenings in the centre - rua das pedras and orla bardot. It’s also a lovely walk away from loads of beaches - azeda, joao Fernandes to name a few. The staff were so attentive and welcoming with great recommendations. If I return to buzios I will always stay here. Beautiful beautiful beautiful !

Excellent Hotel, brilliant service and great location.

We had 5 nights in this hotel. A bit far away from center, shops and restaurants. We Got an upgrate, cause the AC didn’t work. Garden and pool area was very nice. Breakfast wasn’t good. Bad cofee. Not 4 Star.

Really beautiful hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic pool area and cosy outdoor breakfast arrangement. Bed was a bit worn out, and the toilets are not really able to flush..they told us new toilets would be delivered within few months. Overall, in spite of beds and toilets, really recommendable hotel if you want a peaceful and relaxing experience.

The staff was extremely friendly and courteous! Alex the manager was present and clearly interested in making the guests happy.

Excellent hotel and service. Convenient central location

Everything about the hotel, the services, the food, drinks, hotel employees was exceptional. I had room 5 and it was perfect. I went horseback riding on Caravelas Beach with a tour that came and picked me up, and that was great too.

Half of the rooms have absolutely no views ...i asked for a rate to upgrade and never reeived a response despite it was empty .... AC started leaking in the middle of the night and we had to switch rooms at that time .rooms 14 and 16 have water stains on walls and mildew around Ac area confirms this is an ongoing issue ... Do not leave any kind of food even for short periods of time since rooms are full of tiny ants. They even went inside our luggage .Same morning we asked for check out extension of 1 hour and we were denied despite again, hotel was empty . Theres a pave hill of 200 meters to enter hotel , so this limits walking to downtown for some people .... theres no Gym except for some weights and a rusty bike .....good breakfast . Hotel has a lot of potential

Buzious is great place to stay, our hotel was 5 mins from the centre. Where there was many restaurants bars and shops. They seemed to open up about 10 30 in the morning but shops were still open at midnight and bars and restaurants were way into the night. There were many sandy bays around. On the beach you had chairs and parasols that you didn't pay for as long as you had there drinks and food which worked very well. Our hotel Porto Bay was excellant it was a very small hotel the rooms were spacious as was the balacony. Staff couldn't do enough for you, a really relaxing enjoyable stay.

The hotel location, staff, service, breakfast, meals and drinks are truly excellent and highly recommended for any couples or family. The friendly and kind staff went above and beyond to take good care of us when I was feeling sick at the arrival they called and delivered medication to my room. Short walk to the main centre gave us an easy access to the local attractions, shops and restaurants yet the hotel ambience delivered privacy and a relaxing balance.

Very nice hotel with great landscaping, friendly staff, great scenic views, room were nice and large...... only isssue was the air conditioning unit which was not the best but its consistent with what we experienced in the entire country of brazil.......

The rooms are fabulous. I had a junior suite that overlooked the pool area, but because they have trees, it gives you a real private feel. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. The main shopping area and eating area is an 8-10 min walk. Amazing beaches are also walking distance 20min or just hop on the busses that run up and down the area. Fabulous!!!

The hotel is very tranquil and has a beautiful relaxing pool with a small fitness area. It is located outside the centre of Buzios (about 15 minutes walk) to the principal restaurants and bars. The hotel is also up a short but steep hill so not ideal for those who have difficulty walking. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but the pool meal service at lunch was dire with a burger taking nearly 40 minutes to arrive (after chasing). The bar also shuts early so it is not a hotel for socialising in the evening. The room was very comfortable but if you have a room on the ground floor it is dark because of the vegetation and privacy is reduced when people walk by the path-facing floor to ceiling window. Overall it was an acceptable stay but Buzios can be better enjoyed from one of the more boutique pousadas in the heart of the village.

The hotel is very comfortable, and lovely if you just would like to hang out there. However, it is a fair walk on cobble stones, with some gradients, to the town and beach, and if you are there with someone older, as we were, this will necessitate frequent taxi rides. The staff were very friendly and the main lobby is extremely attractive, with a view. We would have appreciated a hot option at breakfast, but suspect it was not on offer because we were there at low season.

Great hotel and a short walk to the beach. I am planning my next trip to Buzios already and looking forward to a stay at the Porto Bay
