We enjoyed our stay only negative is the milk wasn’t replenished for the coffee machine.

I only booked B and B as being by myself wanted to meet people by eating outside and getting to know the area . The breakfast was excellent ...catered for everyone ..plenty of seating. Staff excellent in all areas of hotel . Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas Both pools a good size Big television for sport lovers Quiet areas avaiable and a readers area. Downswere that since i was there the hotel has gone all inclusive and for 5 days we encountered professional yobs ! Golfers who after golf in the morning sat at the pool bar until it closed ...shots ...swearing ...loud ....encroaching on normal peoples holiday .One day there was an incident where they invited a lady into their company and one of them plus her ended up in the pool clothed ....!! Families were in this area !!! I am not a downer but too much for a family hotel ! Bar prices expensive ...1 bacardi and coke 8.40 euros ....opposite 5 euros ....i drank outside the hotel ..if they had been reasonable say 6 i would have drank in the hotel In the room i had ants on the side table for 4/5 days even after spraying myself and the lovely cleaner spraying .....eventually did disappear . Balcony very diappointing ..a little triangle and when you sat down you couldnt see over the balcony wall ...so a view was impossible ....quite a few people mentioned this at the pool . No drink facility in the room ...kettle etc Safe cost 3 euros a night and i thought for that type of hotel should have been included in the price of my stay

Great hotel friendly staff nice comfortable room. My only criticism would be that no shower mat in the bathroom.

Although not perfect will definitely be returning.Staff very friendly and helpful. One downside was that soap dispensers didn’t work in gents toilets -3 the whole week we were there and perhaps toilet by pool should be given more attention than the others because of the floor getting so wet

Great stuff ,convenient location to walk to the beach . Lots of activities to do if you are looking for that . It is not a quiet place for sure ,very family and kids friendly. Though the hotel is a bit outdated , and we had constant smell of the sewer in our room .....had to keep the door of the balcony alway open ,there was some perfume smell coming from the AC -suposevely covering the sewer smell -but NO ,it was making it worse

I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights in Feb and the hotel itself is good. The entertainment team are fantastic and my son loved the kids club. All the kitchen / waiters are brilliant and so friendly. The hotel is also very clean and tidy and offers a great range of activities and entertainment. I also had a massage in the spa and it was the best massage I've ever had. However, the local area is very noisy. We stayed in a double room with balcony and on my first night I got to sleep at 6am because of the noise outside. Constant music, cars and people outside in the street and on the beach making noise. We asked for a quieter room, but this didn't make a lot of difference. The hotel really needs better soundproofing and for this reason I will not be returning to the hotel.

Weather was a mixed bag but that didn't matter. Hotel staff are so friendly and went above and beyond. Hotel was immaculate and well maintained. Location was great with proximity to the beach 5 minutes. Pleasant walks along the front. Food was to a decent standard and the wine was great quality. Welcomed at Reception with a glass of fizz which was a lovely start to our holiday.

We loved our stay at the Bouganville! The water slides in the property are one of the best I’ve ever been to on an all inclusive property. Service here is so great and you can see how hard the staff work to ensure you and your family have a great time! It was great utilizing the kids camp as well and the food was also yummy with lots of variety. The hotel has an amazing view of the sunset and a nice black sand beach very close by. We had an adjoining two rooms for our family of four which worked out great and I loved the eco friendliness of the refillable water bottles! Great stay at Iberostar Bouganville Playa!

Food and food choice excellent, as were the facilities in general. The younger staff were notably no where near as good and friendly as the mature staff who were excellent. We, as usual, kept our room clean and tidy so therefore noticed the patchy cleaning. The Iberostar we stayed at earlier in the year was far better on all these fronts.

When we checked in at reception Anna told us the room wasnt ready. She took my phone number and said she would contact me when the room was ready. Hours passed and I went back to see if the room was ready and it was however Anna didnt bother phoning me as promised. Terrible service and I didnt like her attitude. The other female receptionist (dark hair, didn't get her name) was very pleasant and helpful on check out. Room 104 .... clean and comfortable bed however the foul drainage smell in the bathroom was awful. The hotel was noisy and the breakfast area was like a nursery full of unruly children.

I had a lovely holiday with my family. Reception staff where very helpful.

Excellent hotel in a brilliant location, only 10 min walk into las Américas. Hotel had 4 pools with lots of slides for kids, but also has a adult pool for older couples without a family. Brilliant hotel for everyone

Staff is so nice, food is great and room clean. We had star prestige so that was extra nice, drinks and snacks available until 6pm and access to nice sunbathing areas with comfortable sunbeds.

Staff was rude and they didn't offer welcome drinks. We booked 2 rooms for 5 ppls but they offer only 4 beds on the 1st night

Fantastic hotel and the most friendly of staff. Absolutely spotlessly clean throughout and great food and drink selection. Will definitely be returning. We had a 12 night stay but decided to extend it a further 2 nights as we enjoyed it so much.

The best service at a resort hands down. Food was excellent & overall just a fun place to be.

Water dispensers on every floor fill up your bottles less plastic waste

If you are a parent and want a relaxed holiday for both you and your kids, then this is the place to be. Kids and adults alike have a daily schedule with all kind of activities ranging from archery, water polo, Sangria workshop, live concerts, dance events, aqua gym etc. I was with my wife and we stayed here for 1 week, but we could have stayed for months and we would’t get bored. A shout-out to every single member of the entertainment team because they give everything to make your stay as relaxed and joyful as possible and you can really appreciate the attention to small details. Food is top-notch, entire hotel personnel is very friendly and nice, environmentally friendly chain resort (water dispenser with cold water on every single floor for easy access, focus on recycle, edible straws etc). By far the best experience that we had for this summer. PS: The songs for kids and the anthem of the resort are epic

The hotel is spacious and modern, the restaurant is excellent although after a week it gets a bit repetitive. The bedroom was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Still, I WOULD JOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WITH CHILDREN UNDER THE AGED OF 4. Apart from the baby pool, there’s no toddler friendly area and no activity that is inclusive for the younger ones. We had to go out of the hotel most days to look for suitable playgrounds and other activities, which was really not our plan. That was very inconvenient as we stayed in similar hotels before and never had this problem. Disappointing, but we still had a nice time.

All the staff right from reception to dining and play areas were very helpful and pleasant. One even used google translator to communicate with us! We had a great holiday, thanks.

We were lucky as our room was available upon arrival, we checked in before 3pm. Just an advice bring cash with you as you have to pay deposit for the pool towels. The hotel was full but we managed to get a sunbed everyday, two poools and slides that amazed the kids. They have a variety of activities for adults and for children, the kids club is an option if you have smaller children. Hotel as a couple of pharmacies nearby and a supermarket. I strongly suggest the all inclusive as the food and variety is value for money. Beach is just walking distance. If you have a late flight the Hotel provides at no cost a room so you can take a shower, there is also a secure bag room to leave your bags. (Ask at reception for details) Hotel cares about the environment: you have a water fountain on each floor to refill the glass bottle in your room. And the most important Staff is very friendly and they are really helpful.

This was a great room and when I arrived I was greeted and given a refreshing drink. I arrived late at night and the staff was very kind and friendly. I would come here again, place is beautiful!

Brilliant hotel with lots of outside space, the pools are excellent. Staff very helpful and polite, hotel is kept spotless as well. We had breakfast only and were very happy with the choices on offer. Would definitely stay again

Hotellet var fint, men ble skuffet over at VIP fordeler ikke ble helt fulgt opp. Sengene var veldig harde også.

In room storage could be improved, and the perennial problem with the lifts, that apart fabulous hotel,with excellent staff and facilities.

Excellent location for walking on boardwalk with all the little shops and restaurants. Cleaning ladies were amazing and very friendly, however the front desk staff when we checked in was not at all. No coffee in room or anywhere in the hotel if you are an early riser. I wouldn't stay here again mostly because of the unfriendly staff and lack of explanations of anything like parking, resort credits, etc..

Overall, the hotel is clean. Sadly, it just seemed to want us to upgrade upgrade upgrade. From not being able to sit in certain seats at breakfast, to getting a pool towel...neither were possible as we didn't make the grade. We paid £160 for one night, which I think was enough, however, it clearly wasn't. Room was nice though. I use Iberostar a lot, but the staff didnt seem as helpful.
