Great property. They were doing landscape qork all morning so that was annoyingly loud, but ended by 12. There were 8ish bikes available for use while on property, easy to sign out amd area around hotel is perfect for a 30 minute easy ride. No kids bikes or kid carrier seats. Sheets in loft room were dirty and no comforter, but easily and quickly reppaced by front desk staff. Outdoor hot tub was dirty, indoor and outdoor pools were great. Lots of lounge chairs facing the ocean for a relaxing sun bathing day and there were a few hammocks for use too. Woukd definitely stay again, loft rooms were very roomy.

Will definitely be coming here again. Nice big rooms, awesome amenities, and loved the private beach.

Ocean mist was a great place to spend the night. The property is on the beach which was perfect since the weather was wonderful. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a loft room which was clean and nicely decorated. The only issue was the shower did not drain when using. Had to keep our feet on the lever so the water didn’t pool.

It has everything you want to enjoy with like indoor, outdoor pool, jacucci, beachfront room with complimentary upgrade. One of the best vacation times I have had for my 30 yrs. good weather, great beach to walk morning and evening. family-oriented, best price for quality resort. I strongly recommend to have a reservation. I will come back next year.

This place is in a nice area and has great views. Thats about it for the positives. Let’s get started with everything else. Room had stained sheets, hair on the pillows, super dusty inside the room, and room had a horrible smell. Bathroom shower curtain looks like it hasn’t been changed in about 2 years. It was the first time I wish I slept in the outside patio area instead of inside because my skin was scratching since I entered the room. For health and sanitary reasons….stay away.

Good set up and great location

Right on the beach, heated pools, tons of space (we had an ocean view room with a loft that sleeps 4 plus a pull out for 2 more). Within minutes drive to many restaurants. Sink, microwave and sink came very handy.

Very disappointed with our stay. We were supposed to have a room with ocean view but even if we could actually see the ocean, that was much more a parking lot view with the ocean in the background. Then, the hotel was advertising a kitchenette but they don’t provide any plates, cups, cookware etc…what’s the point of having an electric range if you can’t cook anything on it?

The property was in a very good location. Our loft style room had an ocean view and was within walking distance to the beach. However, we had an ant infestation that was not adequately taken care of when reported to staff. After our first night, we discovered there were ants crawling all over the sink in the small kitchenette area and near the window. We reported the issue to front desk staff right away and was told they would be sending someone to look at it. Noone came for three hours, and as we were leaving to go get breakfast, I decided to stop by the front desk to alert them of situation again. I had taken some pictures and videos to show them that not only did we find ants around the kitchenette area, but there were ants on one of the beds as well. The gentleman in the front acted like it was a normal occurrence because he stated the ants would come from the sand especially if you leave food out. Definitely not the response I was expecting but since the maintenance guy was right there in the lobby and reassured us that he would be taking care of the ants' problem by the time we got back from breakfast, we left. When we got back to the room, they had gotten rid of most of the ants and taken out the trash. The next morning, we found ants all over the counter again and inside all of the snacks we have stored in the closed cabinets. We checked out early and reported the ant infestation and complained about the spoiled food. Management still has not reached out as promised.

My family and I spent 5 nights at Ocean Mist South Yarmouth in Sept. The view from our room was great as was the service and the staff. Everyone we spoke to was helpful and friendly. You can’t beat the location and the private beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. There were a couple of things in our room that we feel need mentioning. Not things that you should find in a 3 or 4 star hotel. The toilet wasn’t seated properly so it wobbled which made it uncomfortable to use. Someone obviously attempted to fix the toilet because it had caulking along the base, but that didn’t work. Also, the toilet paper is in an awkward place. You need to twist backward in order to reach it. (Which is probably why the toilet is wobbly.) Just really not a good setup. We also found our mattress to be extremely uncomfortable. We kept rolling to the center of the bed and woke with back pain. My husband ended up sleeping on the the pull out couch in the loft because he was that uncomfortable. My adult children slept in the other bed, and did not have a problem. We did very much enjoy our stay but are hesitant to recommend to others or stay there again because of the bed situation. We did not mention this to the front desk because we were very happy with our view and location and did not want to go to the trouble to repack and change rooms. Very concerning is that we reached out to the hotel with our concerns and didn't receive a response.

Great place to spend a weekend or vacation

The staff we interacted with were extremely polite. The room was clean when we got in. There were a few items in disrepair, but nothing that detracted from the stay. The mattress had seen better days, so sleep wasn't the best. Other than that, everything else was great. We loved our stay and would consider staying there again!

It was right on the water, the outside pool was heated to 84 .

The staff was great and our room was awesome.

Our room is beautiful, very clean. The problem was no hot water. Ran the water for 20 minutes and it got barely lukewarm. Also, no availability of snacks from machines. The machines are gone because it’s the end of the season the refrigerator and freezer in the little store area it’s just about empty.

Beautiful location

The room was visibly clean but smelled Musty. The tiles were coming up in the bathroom and the tub/shower was old and has seen better days. I think there might be a leak in the bathroom. Perhaps this is what led to the musty smell. It felt like I was staying in a dank basement.

Property is right on the beach. Great heated pool. I was there on an unusually hot day in October, truly enjoyed but I imagine the beach is crowded in the summer during high tide.

Liked the fire pit

Loved the ocean view and the sound of the waves crashing to shore. The fire pit at night was great.

We came in from Indiana, arrived late and was still greeted with a smiling face. If I had anything negative to say, it would be the key cards didn’t work half the time and had to go the office for replacements. We where right on the ocean and would watch the sunset and sit on our porch and watch the waves . Very clean very convenient. If we ever go back to Massachusetts, we’ll be staying there again
