Great overnight stay on our way back to the UK. Excellent restaurant.

It’s a hidden gem, in a area close to the airport. The hotel was clean and modern with friendly staff. Bonus! There are rabbits in the garden.

Great hotel and very friendly staff. I would rate this hotel as one of the better hotels I have been to. Rooms were spacious and well laid out. Facilities described at the time if booking were very accurate and do meet or exceed the expectation. Only thing to note is the hotel is located next to Parma Airport, slightly away from City Center. Considering there is not much of a traffic problem in Parma, City Center is just a 10 minutes drive.

Such a beautiful hotel converted from an old barn! Very contemporary and modern hotel with spacious rooms. Friendly staff, easy parking and great breakfast.

Everything was very good. Quiet place. Clean room. Breakfast satisfying.WiFi functions all the time.

Perfect stay Staff are excellent and very happy to assist Easy access to the city for walking , Restaurant is good a typically Italian and not a pizza in sight ,all cooked fresh to order , Limited for a bar, there isn't one !!

Wonderful hotel! We stayed as a family, with an 8 month old and the staff were more than accommodating. There was a wooden crib provided for free. The hotel was very clean and modern (even electronic windows in room). Hotel is right near the Parma airport (no airplanes took off or landed while we stayed - we didn’t hear any). The hotel restaurant was incredible (Parma tortellini specifically... with the 3 different types). Overall a great hotel, only downfall was that it states 2.5miles from city centre and it’s really not near anything to walk to - plan to drive to any destinations. Thank you to the staff at Hotel City Parma!

Thoughtful, modern aechitecture. Outside the city, so best for those travelling by car. Splendid on site restaurant.

The hotel is situated in a old warehouse style building which is quite special. The only drawback is the accessibility to the hotel which you will need to drive in order to get there.

The Hotel is excellent. The location is perfect for those arring from the highways. The food @ the hotel restaurant is excellent and I would suggest you to follow the indications of the owner. Try the Parmesan local food as it's fantastic. The wines too. The hotel is beautiful, well equipped and quite.

Incredibly helpful staff, lovely clean rooms (all bedding was changed on a daily basis), excellent food. We were a little worried as the hotel is right next to Parma airport, however it is not a busy airport and there was no disturbance at all. You will need transport if you stay here, as the town is a good hour away by foot. The hotel restaurant is not cheap, but is very good. Overall a very nice place to stay.

I wasn't expecting much from a place to stay while in transit, but this hotel surprised me. It is a new hotel surrounded by farmland, and abundant with animal life - many local farm cats and pongas (a new experience!). The hotel restaurant was fantastic and offered many great quality local dishes. A very pleasant stay, a great surprise!

The hotel was a great price, but is really in the middle of nowhere. That would have been ok as the hotel was relatively clean and functional. The problem was that due to it being so far from everything, we chose to use their restaurant. The "restaurant" turns out to be a tent on the lawn, served by one person with no idea about service or style. Unfortunately, the food was just as poor with my steak being just short of a Formula 1 tyre. My wife ordered melon and parma ham - sadly, they had no melon! That wouldn't have been the only disaster if we hadn't been advised that the Sicilian red was the best wine they had - no wine list should have been a warning. Poor wine, poor food, very bad service and high prices. Not a good combination for an enjoyable meal! To cap it all, the hotel has no noise insulation and the people above us decided to move home at about 3am in the morning and play the TV on loud. For an overnighter, the hotel is not bad value, but exceptionally poorly managed and a nightmare for a restaurant. Both are best avoided!

Actually, it was more than I expected!! Given the rural location, and Parma not being the big destination that other parts of Italy are; this hotel was excellent!! It is far from the center of Parma, but if that's not an issue, this is a great place! It's clean, modern, cheap, excellent ammenities, big comfy bed, awesome shower, FREE WiFi all over the hotel (free for guests), free parking, decent free breakfast (some B&Bs I've stayed in didn't have this good of breakfast! Friendly English speaking receptionist. If you're not looking for an opulent "Italian" hotel in the middle of town, then I can't recommend this place enough.

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Good points: clean, modern hotel, 5 minutes walk on quiet road from airport. Walked back to airport for bus (No 6 - Euro 1.50 each way) to centre of Parma and train station, if required. No 6 can be picked up from road alongside bridge, where you are dropped off, or from station. Bear in mind that not all No 6 buses go to the airport so be sure to ask driver. Every 30 minutes to hotel/centre. Restaurant open for breakfast (poor) and dinner (open buffet, cold food = poor). you can ask for pizza and drinks in room outside of these times, but VERY expensive (3.5 Euros for a small 6oz glass or fruit juice - Yikes!). Hotel is very quiet, despite being next to airport. Combination of good double glazing and the fact that Parma is such a small airport so not many flights per day. Lovely bathroom. King bed turned out out to be two singles pushed together :(. One sheet and cover on bed so ask for more and blankets should be in wardrobe. Rooms have A/C/heating. Sky satellite, but only news and music channels in English. No tea/coffee making facilities in room :(. Minibar, but no prices in room. Would recommend because of location and bus route, and it is a clean and modern hotel and staff are very helpful. Just don't expect too much in the way of facilities.
