Fabulous stay in Florence, this hotel was a boutique experience, and right in the middle of the action. Staff amazing, breakfast yummy, amenities lovely. Bring a travel adapter to charge up your devices, it's an old building and the experience is low tech, which is what we wanted!

One of our favorite stays in Italy! It’s like staying in your own palazzo, a secret door, with the best breakfast we’ve ever had in all our Italy travels, in a grand dining room with fellow travelers. It is old world charm, historical. Its location made it easy to rest in mid day heat, then wander out for the evening. But the staff make it the best, from the eggs they cooked to order, yummy pastries, check in, luggage service, room cleaning and all with smiles! We loved our stay and will recommend to others.

It was one of the nicest boutique hotels and I had an amazing experience. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. The hotel’s atmosphere was both stylish and cozy, with beautiful decor and thoughtful details throughout. From the minute we walked in, we knew this hotel was exceptional! Located at the heart of the square and walkable to so many incredible things in Florence. Monica and Umberto were so helpful upon arrival and Mattheo was great to chat with to learn more about this family hotel. The breakfast staff were exceptional…cappuccinos were lovely and breakfast was perfect! The hotel history was fascinating and the staff went out of their way to make sure any and all needs were fulfilled. The windows and views in our bedroom were breathtaking! Will surely miss this unique hotel experience!

This is one of the best places we have stayed at. The rooms were authentic, yet in great condition and clean. The service was extra-ordinary. George and his team provided us with a great daily breakfast and were so welcoming into their kitchen for anything we needed. They also provided free drinks, which we all loved, and had a chance to meet some of the other guests, and all of us were as in love with the hotel and service. In addition to all this, the place is so perfectly located and within 10 minutes of all the top attractions, but it’s quiet at night. The AC was effective and beds were comfortable. We were on the top floor, so did have to climb stairs which was the only con, however the room was well worth it. They do have an elevator for your luggage, which they helped bring up and take down for us. I would stay here again without a doubt!

The hotel was right in the middle of a beautiful piazza. It’s in a very convenient location (15 minute walk from the train station) and is close to several shops and great food options. The staff was incredibly nice and made you feel right at home. Would absolutely go back.

We stayed for 2 nights at tis boutique hotel. Full marks for service, hospitality, cleanliness and excellent location (close to the main sights). The breakfast is especially prepared (no buffet). There are no complaints. Thanks to the amazing staff! I will be back :)

From the time we entered to the hotel to the time we left we were surrounded with excellent service, beautiful authentic environment and warm atmosphere. We were welcomed by Sebastian who was so polite, kind and classy that the first impression of whole city of Florence was assured. The room was big and welcoming with all needed amenities. The location of the hotel is just perfect; close to stores, restaurants and many important and historic places, surrounded with art. Hotel's homemade breakfast was delicious and very nicely served. Overall, we loved this hotel and very thankful to the owners who mange to provide such great service for their guests.

This hotel is a gem. Umberto and his staff couldn’t be more helpful and the location was simply spectacular. The room were very spacious and super clean and convenient. The upstairs mini fridge was stocked with cold water and soft drinks which was perfect in lieu of a mini bar. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Florence.

The staff was so helpful and friendly, and the location was fabulous! The room was spacious and the breakfast was great as well. What a wonderful perk, especially if you have an early tour and want to sleep in a bit longer. My only small complaint was that the shower was part of the bathtub so a bit awkward but nowhere near a big enough issue to mark off any stars. We would stay here again, to be sure.

The property and staff are amazing! Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay and wish we had longer. The made to order breakfast was delicious and unexpected, more like a BnB experience. From the pictures we knew the property was a bit quirky but we found it fun and charming. The biggest challenge was the small elevator and walking 4 flights of stairs. The staff minimized this by taking our luggage up and down at the beginning and end of the stay. Also rental cars are not advisable with tiny streets in the area and difficult even for taxis to avoid walking tourists. Definitely walkable to all major sites (Duomo, Uffizi, Academia) and property/location is highly recommended!!

As the other travelers have noted here, the highlights of this hotel are the location and the warm welcome you get from the owner, Sebastian. We had to leave early for the airport and sadly didn’t get to experience the breakfast that everyone raves about. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up at 5 am which was very helpful. We hope to be back so we can really experience all this hotel has to offer!

The entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! Great restaurant recommendations and help with reservations (Maga Maro was wonderful), and a very comfortable room. Location is very convenient for walking to all other attractions in the city and in a popular area for shopping and restaurants. Would absolutely return!

We had a short stay in Florence and this was a perfect location of us. The biggest 5 star rating was the helpfulness of the owners in retrieving a passport that we left in Rome. We were frantic when we realized we have left the passport in an Airbnb in Rome, and they went out of their way to help us have it retrieving and brought back to Florence. I cant say how much we appreciate it. FANTASTIC service!!!

We rented a two bedroom two bath connecting rooms. The place was really nice and comfortable. Conveniently located, great views, a big dining area. Freshly made breakfast is served daily, personalized to the guests preferences. Staff is very nice, helped plan our entire stay with a map and recommendations of places to visit.
