Very good for couples, neat beach

The hotel room was clean. The representative at check-in was very friendly. The room could use updating, but for the price it was adequate. Walkable to the beach and sights in Menton.

Sylvia was excellent; she gave us all the information we needed upon our arrive. Amazing views of the water off of the balcony. Breakfast was good, we took ours to go.

My stay at Hôtel Le Dauphin was excellent. Really friendly staff and they went out of their way to help. Hotel was very clean, very comfortable beds, great walkable neighborhood, no more than a 15 minute walk from two nearby train stations which will take you to Monaco, Nice, or Ventimiglia. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great ocean view

This was a very Nice hotel with modernized rooms & balconis. The personal was very professional, friendly and was spraking several laguages. 👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊😊

Great site as the balcony looks over the sea. However swimming at this particular location is OK but there isnt really a beach and its not as good as closer to the centre of town. The intervening road is quite noisy and as the hotel rooms are all on the first or second floor you are quite close to it. The crashing waves are also a bit noisy so if you want a quiet night this might not be for you.Town centre is about 10-15 mins walk and Menton has a lot to offer a couple. Lots of restaurants near by, particularly on the sea front between the hotel and town centre.Bus to Monaco/Nice goes from just outside the hotel and only costs 1.50 Euros.The staff were very friendly and spoke good/reasonable English. Breakfast is basic but fine, and theres plenty of it. Room also basic but bed very comfortable and temperature control good. In room safe is useful but no in room kettle

Hotel Dauphin was a great destination!!! Overlooking the Mediterranean this property offered more than we had expected, definitely we will come back next year, David and Carla made us feel very comfortable and offered a delicious breakfast every morning. So not worth the money. Motel 6 does it much better. Very outdated and shabby. The window had a see-thru nylon curtain. So, when the lights in the room are on, everyone can see you from the outside. When you go to bed - the street light blasts intot he room. Very small, outdated and shabby room.

it was a lot of noise from the street and it was hard to sleep at night

very clean and friendly place with excellent breakfast buffet-great fresh fruit, hams and cheeses etc.Simple but adequate although the room was compact.

This is a very good and on a budget hotel on the first line by the seashore of beutiful Menton. Staff was friendly and helpful. All of them speak English. The rooms are not big but feature a more than sufficient in size individual terrace and we certainly didn't regret paying a few euros on top for the seaside-view room option. The public beaches are just in front of the hotel. We didn't pay for breakfast included and only had espresso in the morning. They were great taste and flavour!
