Everything was very good except the indoor pool was freezing. We like to stay at hotels with indoor pools when we travel and was one of the reasons we tried here but the pool water was so cold couldn't stay in it. Didn't really enjoy the eggs at breakfast also.

Wanted to love this place but……only complaint was outside noise from road ,traffic ,and neighborhood noise through windows and noise from hallway if anyone was walking or talking while close to room. Otherwise a wonderful hotel.

The stay was nice, hotel was clean. The beds were not very comfortable. From the looks of the room you would think they would be great to sleep on but they were not. The only other issue I had was that there was only 1 ice machine and it took the elevator awhile to get up to the floor I was on.

We just stopped to spend the night on our way from SC to home in NY. We were very impressed.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and the shower was amazing.

We were hoping to get a room on the first floor, but ended up on the third. Room was nice. Hotel located on a busy street (not real walkable). Overall, it served our purpose. Breakfast was pretty good too.

The property was very dirty. The room was small considering it was a king. The breakfast was left out of food, dirty and not cleaned up.

Overall good. Left before breakfast was served. A little noisy. Doors are loud. And the little rugrats above us were doing gymnastics till their parents put their butts to bed. Late! My dog and the neighbors dog was quieter!

We have a real nice room. The only problem was the walk-in shower which had a constance drip. Then when I we Goodbye nt into the shower, you have to turn it on while you’re in the shower, Poor planning and part of the showerhead sprayed all over me and out the door. Then when I got out the shower I notice a small leak over by the glass frame. This walk-in shower needs to be totally refurbished. I notified the front desk when I checked out. If it wasn’t for the shower stall, I would have given you a rating of excellence.

Nice hotel for 1 night. My suggestion and only gripe, ask for an even # room on the back of hotel higher than 3rd floor. The road in front and Rt 81 are very noisy if you want to get to bed early.

We loved the layout of the room in that neither the bed nor the tv are on walls which are up against a neighboring room. This helps create a more quiet atmosphere.
We do think it a little strange that there’s a window from the shower into the bedroom area. Fine for couples, but would be awkward for friends or a couple and their children sharing the same room.

We had a great stay at the hotel. There was easy check in. The decor of the lobby was very modern and updated. The room was very well outfitted and updated. The breakfast in the morning was very substantial. And the attendant that was taking care of the breakfast items was very helpful and everything was clean

The room I booked backed up to the mechanical room. I called the desk and asked to be moved and was accommodated immediately. Breakfast was great, many options. The lady in charge never stopped moving, constantly cleaning and restocking.

We went there for the first time! The person at the checkin was very friendly and polite.
Rooms are cute with all convenience. They have an indoor pool with an area outside who could use furniture if ever we wanted to go out.
Breakfast was fine, the usual scrambled eggs, bacon etc.

We were traveling home after dropping our grandson of to begin his graduate studies at University of Georgia. We were tired and you hotel was wonderful. The checkin was so smooth and the room very comfortable.

Quick stay for the Rt 11 yard sale. Room layout was very different compared to other chains. Two desk/tables, but only one chair, so one of us had to eat on the bed. Fridge sat on the floor, should have been elevated. Shower was fantasic, although hubby thought water smelled like pond water. I will say the sink water did smell. Pillows were not great, but room was clean. Lights from outside shined in under the blind and made it hard to sleep. Breakfast was great, but not on time.

The La Quinta in Winchester should be described as a "pet" hotel rather than a people hotel. We were assured that the third floor was a pet free zone and yet at the elevator on that floor a family with a dog came out of their room. Dogs were everywhere--lobby and breakfast area! We also had to deal with an employee shampooing the carpet on our floor for over two hours. Couldn't rest and couldn't even talk on the phone because the noise was so loud. We have taken the La Quinta off our list for Winchester.

Very very clean and comfortable. Common areas needed more A/C. When I went for breakfast there was no food so I figured I’d get coffee and there was no cream. I’m sure they were working on refilling everything but we had to leave. Otherwise it was a great stay.
