The Blackjack Inn is my number one choice whenever I stay in South Lake Tahoe. Check-in is quick and the front desk representative is friendly and informative... Parking is good. The spaces are a bit narrow but I've always found good parking...
The rooms are both affordable and comfortable- just the right size for my needs....
Conveniently located near the Van Sickle Trail and about a 20 minute walk to Lam Watah Nature trail...
I'm a bit sad when I have to check-out but look forward to my next visit to SLT and the Blackjack Inn. :)

Great location! You can walk to casinos. A bit tight on parking but parking is free. Room was nice and bathroom updated. I would stay there again.

The hotel is a small place off the main road, which means it's ideally located to park your car and walk around. Very comfortable and quiet, and as a solos female traveler I felt comfortable here. My only complaint was the folks in the next room turning on their shower at 5am and waking me out of a solid sleep. Not a hotel problem, but it's worth noting that you will hear ALL the water usage of other people.

Check in is fast and easy, staff is friendly. Parking is a little tight for large vehicles. Great location, close to restaurants, Starbucks, and the lake. Premium King bed a little small and no in room coffee machine. Coffee available in lobby in the am.

Lovely people, comfortable, clean remodeled room close to old town (we walked). Proprietors let us leave our car after check out while we took a boat ride.

I booked this hotel because Hotels.com said it was a 8.9. When we first drove up to it, it looked like the Bates Motel. The parking was really tight and not much of it. Other than that, it’s an awesome place for the price. Very clean room, beds were really comfortable. Shower was awesome and looked like it had recently been redone. Nice TV, microwave and refrigerator. It was just me and my wife. the room was a little small, but it’s perfect for two people. It’s perfectly located in the middle of downtown between all the restaurants and shops. For the price, I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely staff! Very nice. Room was a little on the small side with a queen bed but not in a bad way, it was good for 2 people. Very convenient and easy to walk to heavenly village and surrounding places. Would stay again!

It is a 2-star motel that does its job. Clean room, sheets, and bath. Don't expect frills. Great location at South Lake Tahoe - a great place to park your car and explore the surroundings.

There was a rodent or coyote in the ceiling or between the walls, we couldn't sleep all night because of them crawling, crawling, scratching and squeaking. We called the front desk and they said they couldn't do anything about it. We drove all day and wanted to sleep, but we couldn’t. The room was clean but very small.

The room was refurbished, but much smaller than it looked in the pictures on Expedia. There were hairs on the bathroom sink and hairs imbedded in the blanket on the bed. It was noisy because the walls apparently were paper thin. It was ok for a "budget stay" for a night.

Great property and managed amazingly by a couple. Felt safe and we checked out very late as we got stuck somewhere but they were kind enough to not charge us extra except their standard late checkout fee. Will visit again if we ever come to stay in Tahoe

Motel is situated 1/2 block off of main road through South Lake Tahoe. Rooms are very clean but the walls are thin and easy to hear into other rooms. I was not able to sleep all night due to very noisy neighbor and traffic on the street. IMO better to pay more and be more secluded, however, this property was quite pricey for what it was as well.

This property was very close to everything you needed. The only thing I could say about the room we stayed in. It was small, but I did choose the smallest room since we weren’t gonna spend too much time in the room. I do wish they had one more mirror in there other Than that the stay was nice and quiet

Rooms were absolutely tiny. Clean but nothing special. Parking was challenging and limited for a large truck. One trash can per room. No Kleenex. A pillow per person. Doors didn’t seal well. The living area consisted of cheap plastic chairs and a small table. The channel guide was a joke to try and navigate. Fortunately this was just a quick overnight stay or else I would have been furious to stay here. The price was way high for what the room was but we were desperate for a decent place to stay with kids that wasn’t in a casino. Long as you don’t play to stay in the room then this place is fine.

Not a fancy hotel, which was fine with us, staff was excellent, we parked our car and just walked to everything that we needed to be at( celebrity gift tournament weekend) heavenly village was right across the street. Perfect location

A small family trip to Tahoe. The room was nicely updated but the room still had an old smell to it. We kept the air running to keep it fresh. Parking was great. Perfect walking distance to the beach and the strip.
