The team who work for the Marlborough Arms made the stay an excellent one! Always friendly, offering help or advice, they could not have done anymore. The room was spacious with a great bed and facilities!

Very friendly greeting and although we were early allowed us to check in. Great to have on site parking. Quality and choice of breakfast was very good and amazing home made marmalade and jams. Marked down for eco because we hung up the towels but they were changed anyway. Nice to have bottles of filtered water in room

Great location, friendly welcome, and spacious quiet room (#10) to the back of the proprerty. Short stroll to palace, shops, and restaurants, bus to Oxford stops right in front.

Enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed being a part of such old culture, yet very comfortable with contemporary room.

We really enjoyed our stay here, our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and you can’t beat the location and its proximity to Blenheim Palace. We were also easily able to take the bus to Oxford for a half day using the bus stop right out front. We also enjoyed having a tasty hot breakfast every morning included with our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

We chose the Marlborough Arms in Woodstock for its proximity to the palace.
It’s a lovely old building with lots of ups and downs between floors. The room was clean and tidy, the staff very friendly and the breakfast sets you up for the day.

Extremely disappointing after see the pics and booking a comfort room, if you book state you don’t want ‘The Studio’ small extension out back in the car park, tiny shower en suite and extremely uncomfortable sitting on toilet due to cramped conditions and a handle sticking out, awful really disappointing

This was a very nice place to stay and we would go back and highly recommend Marlborough Arms to those traveling. It was within an easy walk to Blenheim Palace, lovely town, cute bookstore and good choices of restaurants! The B and B was quaint, historic, well preserved with lovely sitting areas including outdoors. Great breakfast buffet and made to order hot breakfast! If you haven't yet had a traditional English breakfast let this be your first, delicious.

A beautiful old converted Coaching Inn full of charm and character. The room was excellent and the bed enormous and extremely comfortable. The staff were just brilliant, friendly and very helpful. A lovely place for a memorable weekend.

First visit to this hotel for us. Started well with friendly efficient greeting on arrival. The room was larger than most in hotels in this price range. It was comfortable, with modern facilities and warm despite the unexpected cold weather. Friendly and comfortable bar facilities, and first rate breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Very nice B&B on a very noisy main road so if like me you are a light sleeper make sure you ask for a quieter room. Also most rooms are up a flight of stairs.if you have a drink in the bar take lots of money! £3 for a can of Coke ext

Old historic inn . Senior citizens should note stair case to upper level rooms the stair case is very narrow, winding and steep steps. Wonderful bathroom and shower. Very good breakfast.

Amazing hotel, will definitely stay again. Love the fireplace and the staff were really friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed our breakfast, fresh and delicious 😋. Parking was on the back of the property and it was easy to find. Many dining options which discounts for staying at the hotel.

I was very disappointed that I had asked for a twin room to be told that none were available. I then booked two separate rooms for my friend and me. BUT, when we got there, both rooms had king beds that were just two twins pushed together. My room, number 12, had plenty of room for the twin beds to be separated and shared by two friends. I felt that this was a way for you to make more money rather than serve our needs.
