Safe and clean. loved it.

Excellent experience. It was very clean. The room and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good.

The facility was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The TV remote did not work, breakfast was 1 1/2 hours late.

The room was clean and ready when we arrived in the late afternoon. I’m sure it was an eventful day after the global outage which disrupted reservations. But they had everything under control when we arrived with no problems.

We had a great stay here. Josh checked us in and went the extra mile by finding a secure location for us to store our tandem bicycle since it was too big to get upstairs to our room. We had a great discussion with the day crew after the found our tandem in their storage area the next day! Everyone was pleasant and excited to learn about the bicycle!

I did not like that i couldn't buy anything from the little store in the hotel because some management wants to be anti American and refuse my American money. So I will never go to any of your hotels again.

Good beds

I did not like the outside area, it seemed desolate and pushed behind other properties. It did not seem inviting, however the inside seemed to be remodeled.

Though this hotel is nice and clean, the surrounding area seems a little abandoned. Clean beds, comfortable rooms, used our Roku for tv viewing. Breakfasts were good, plenty of food. Sparkles Diner is a convenient food option.

Was nice

Everything was wonderful! Very clean, beautiful lobby and rooms. Amenities are excellent and it was one of the best stays we have had in years!

Very good price! Tub had a little mold, bathroom a bit dirty in the corners, parking lot dark.

It was fine for an overnight stay enroute home.

The humidity inside that hotel had to be 100%. Very uncomfortable air. The sheets felt wet because it was so humid, after a few hours, the clothes in our suitcases even felt wet. The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was filthy, wouldn't dare use it.

My hotel room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good and had items not always included. The TV had no channels and there was no hairdryer provided, which usually are present. Overall it was a nice stay and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Was a really nice room. Clean and quiet. The only thing I didn't like was a shady looking man just parked in his car in the parking lot almost all day and into the night. As women traveling alone, we just felt a bit unsafe.

The front desk staff did their best and are probably not paid enough for what they had to deal with. So I'll give them credit. And the bathroom and linens seemed clean. After that, it was not good. Upon arrival we were notified that an ice machine leaked into elevator and that wasn't functional and could get a refund. Typically use stairs anyway so turned their offer down but that ended up a regrettable decision. Hotel is supposedly 100% smoke free - our first room smelled like a smoker's room. They moved us to a room and it smelled like a dog. Temp was set at 63 (probably to help with odor). Fridge was FOUL - like soured food or milk had been in it for a very long time - and it froze all of our food. One bed frame had these pieces jutting out but hidden under skirt so your shins got hit if you weren't careful. Other bed was tilted and squeaked and creeked with any movement - also missing comforter. Drawer handle broke off so bare screw poking out to use or catch your leg. Parking limited with most in back or on sides. Can't speak to breakfast because it wasn't served early enough for us to take advantage of it. Would encourage one of the options on the west side if coming to Topeka.

I got to the Hotel early before check in and was able to wait in the lobby. The desk attendant called me up and gave me a free upgraded room. The staff was so pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic the day of check out.

I have never had a bad stay at a Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Rates are always reasonable, and you know what to expect. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was better than expected. The pool was closed for renovations, but this was disclosed when I booked, so, again, no surprises.

I wasn't in my room longer than to just sleep, but it was fine. Everything was clean and quiet. It's not fancy, but was perfect for my purposes.
