This property was excellent!!! Great parking, beautiful pool and outdoor area. Best breakfast of our stay in a nice bright room. The spa was included in our room and was a very nice treat!!! Our room was also lovey!! The area is perfect, a nice quiet retreat, not as touristy as other places. We only wished we had booked for longer!!! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!

Fantastic stay at this very relaxing hotel. The spa was amazing and relaxing for our family if 4 Also, there was ample breakfast selections and the pool area was beautifully done. We enjoyed a long leisurely dinner beside the pool area as well. Walking around the town surrounding the hotel was interesting and beautiful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I would definitely recommend staying at this unique hotel in such a quaint area. Nice to have quiet area y in relax in after a long road trip.

We stayed at this hotel for the massages and Turkish spa which were enjoyable. It is a modern hotel with easy free parking and a wide variety of food at the free breakfast buffet. The pool area was relaxing. Several restaurants are within 10-15 minute walking distance.

We loved our stay at Hotel Palazzo San Lorenzo. We needed somewhere to relax for a while as we are in the midst of our travels. It was a very comfortable Hotel. The room as large, a good location that we could see the local sights or just hang around Colle di Val d'Elsa, the pool was great as was breakfast. Parking was easy and safe and didn't cost extra.

A massage at the hotel was lovely. I would highly recommend. I thought the pool and saunas were accessible but it was a separate fee to access. I was happy to pay for spa services and my massage was really amazing. There wasn’t food services which was a little inconvenient for me as I had a very short visit. That was my only other concern.

Palazzo San Lorenzo is a wonderful haven in Colle di Val d' Elsa. The restaurant is exceptional but a reservation is vital as they seem to have many big groups coming through. Cane who checked us in, was fantastic answering all our queries and providing all the necessary info to get around the town. There are a few bays outside the hotel for parking but if those are taken there’s free parking 100m from the hotel which is open 24 hours. We parked there two nights when there was no parking outside the hotel and the rental car was fine. We didn’t get the opportunity to use the Spa and Wellness centre located in this hotel during this trip. Be aware that if you don’t have a spa access room you need to pay for each entry. The bathrooms are equipped with jetted tubs which made for a glorious bath. The hotel has many beautiful sculptures, paintings and crystal vases displayed in public areas. The breakfast is served in a sunroom with a glass ceiling which makes for a magnificent start in the morning. This is a great base for visiting Siena and San Gimignano. The glass lift connecting the old and new towns of Colle di l Val d'Elsa is simply amazing. Would definitely stay here again if we are in that part of the world again.

All gods but was stuck in the elevator for almost one hour and was only offered complimentary water and/or coffee. Too bad because the staff was very attentive but could not offer any significant compensation.... we could have missed our flight.

Great hotel in the middle of an old town in Tuscany. Hotel is in an excellent location for exploring surrounding Tuscany. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities. The room was spacious and clean with a view over the surrounding town. The restaurant is worth a visit with great food and drink. There are also several excellent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The only thing to bear in mind there is no hotel parking as such but a free to use car park just around the corner from the hotel.

A quite excellent - and reasonably priced - spa hotel in Colle Di Val D’Elsa, one of the Tuscan “hill towns”, not far from San Gimignano. A very comfortable establishment, in a former palazzo, which has recently been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. It is also perfectly located for exploring Tuscany, roughly equidistant from each of Florence, Siena and Pisa, and also handy to places like Vinci (hometown of Leonardo da Vinci), Lucca and Chianti.

Colle Val D'Elsa was a perfect choice to be our base to explore the region. Accessing the city is very easy, at least during the Winter time. The hotel is perfect and the staff couldn't be more friendly. Breakfast is incredible. Free parking 100 meters from the hotel.

Overall the hotel is very nice, but few things could be improved: during the cleaning our trash bins were not cleaned; we were 3 people in the room, but one day we got only 2 sets of towels; drinking bottled water was not replaced in our room and we had to request twice with a reminder; in other spa hotels the spa entrance was included into the price, but not here; hotel claims to be pet friendly, but after we arrived we were told that we cannot leave our pet alone in the room during the day, but how do we take the dog to the Michelin restaurant or to the museum? That was not the case in the other pet friendly hotels and our dog is never a trouble.

Breakfast is very good, however, SPA hours (14:00 -20:00) makes you unable to use it and bathroom condition is poor.
