To be honest not at all, I don't like anything there, wasn't a good experience, all the good comments are fake...

Breakfast won't start until 8:30 and need to be pre ordered every night... swimming pool wasnt 24h for guests, only limited times to go and water was creamy... Room is dirty lots of flies and bed cover made me so iching all over... restaurant is expensive and not enough food... And cups plates are dirty as well...even saw a staff smoking at back kitchen door!!?

A return visit, staff as friendly and helpful as before. A very relaxed place to stay, clean comfortable room. Food is very good, breakfast cooked to order. Great location for northern Lake District and coast.

Staff and dining were excellent, dog friendly

It is looking a bit tired in places, particulary the pool area, and outside in the hot tub/jacuzzi area

The staff were really friendly, the room was very nicely done. The time breakfast was available was generous and not early. The bar and restaurant area is airy and spacious. The chef was exceptionally accommodating of my dietary requirements. Lots of parking. Beautiful views.

WiFi was not great and Netflix internet connection didn’t work Spa/ pool / jacuzzi was a little tired and cloudy and needed a good kick of paint and the bed was a bit lumpy

All the food from the kitchen was lovely. Location excellent.

We were looking forward to use steam room( main reason booking this hotel) but it was out of order and not updated on website. Its been out of service for quiet some time and they said its not gonna get fixed any time soon. Should of been updated on description.

Pretty location. Building used to be a cow barn so it's very rural although nicely appointed. Staff are great, very friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and lovely big fluffy towels. Pool is warm and inviting. Food is really good and we were welcomed with complementary coffee and cakes.

Changing facilties in the pool are very basic. No lockers so don't take anything valuable in! Hot tub was outside so virtually unused in winter. Steam room worked once you knew how to use it. Timings of pool availability are a bit difficult for guests...especially in the morning

The facilities, the staff and the rooms were brilliant.

The hot tub was cold. However, we’d just had a cold snap and so it hadn’t been on. it would have been nice if we had been able to use it.

It was a huge suite which was more than enough for myself, wife and baby. We enjoyed the private spa bath and the availability of two rooms and two bathrooms all to ourselves. View was amazing.

Pool can be improved.

The hotel was great. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. The food was great. We enjoyed using the pool. The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District.

The time there went too quick!
