The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was really nice, clean, airy and large, my first shower was cold, I mentioned this to the receptionist who checked why, apparently I was meant to push a button on a control panel, all was good after that.

Not providing a coffee maker in guest rooms seems inexcusable.

Very clean & super friendly staff (esp Mario). Great position at the end of the promenade & an easy 20\30min walk into the old town, Rental bikes avail to take you along the flat bike path to spaiggia Maria Piā 6km away! We had a problem with wifi in our room which they looked at - it was ok for apple products but not strong enough for my android phone unless we kept our bedroom door open. Huge spacious quiet internet\smart TV ROOM. It was a pity no one knew or provided instructions how to operate the smart tv to the internet but if you like Italian tv its fine. (my hubby would have loved to watch sport on it)! For the price we paid, location, roof top terrace for apero & including a buffet breakfast it represented great value. We would stay here again! Thank you Mario for recommendions for the poor weather we experienced! The spa next door was a particular bonus

The property was clean. The staff was helpful to us in our planning while we were there and helping us arrange tours and giving us directions For getting around town.

Great welcome on arrival. Given lots of local information. Parking available right outside. Hotel beautiful. Room spacious clean and comfortable. Breakfast had great variety. Our only regret was not staying longer as the town was lovely.

Hotel Villa Piras was a lovely place. We didn’t expect much since it’s only three stars, but everything was so great. The staff especially was very helpful and nice people. The room was clean and the housekeepers kept it clean every day. We had a room with balcony, and it was so nice to sit there at night to enjoy a couple of beers. The breakfast was ok.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Villa Piras. It is walking distance to the beach and old town/city centre, the room was clean and bright and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We also loved the view from the roof during sunset! Would definitely recommend to others.

The bed was more comfortable than it looked. Excellent air-con. No in-room safe. 24/7 reception. Balcony and bannisters unsettlingly wobbly. Staff friendly and helpful. There is only 1 restaurant close-by (next door) but plenty in town, which is a 15-30 min stroll depending on where you are going - but the walk is easy and pleasant.

Clean, comfortable large room with balcony overlooking the ocean, as well as a rooftop patio and large common areas. Close to promenade that takes you into the historical part of Alghero. Friendly helpful staff.

Good location about 10-15 minutes pleasant walk into the old town. On-street parking is hit and miss so may need to leave car a block away.Very friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable feel to the place. Good and plentiful breakfast selection of fresh produce; more fruit would be a good addition.Rooms clean and functional but very sterile and a little gloomy - even superior rooms with sea view. Plain white walls with no pictures and very sparse furniture.Biggest criticism is the beds. Narrow singles (even in double room) with hard mattresses of a utilitarian design more likely to be found in a youth hostel.Change the beds, add some jolly pictures and a tub chair or two to get a near excellent rating!Dont dismiss the place though.

We were only one night there. The center is about 1 kilometre. It's simple. The room was big.

Walked to center of old town & along the port promenade , easy & close drive down scenic route #105, & to CAPO CACCIA !

I booked this hotel as it was close to a family member who was working in the area. It's in a quiet area away from the main tourist hotels and beaches. It's family run and very friendly. Their English is as limited as my Italian (but that's the same for most of the island) but the power of pointing and body language ensured this was not an issue. The room and bathroom where spacious, more so than most hotel rooms and room service was daily and excellent. The breakfast was fine, continental style, with plentiful coffee refills if required. It is approx 10-15 mins walk to the town (depending on which area you wish to visit), but it is along a well lit sea front esplanade so an easy walk and much needed after an evening meal!!!! We did not use the restaurant attached so cannot comment on it, there was no reason except we were only there for a few days and preferred to try other establishments in the main town.
