We really enjoyed our holiday in this villa in Capistrano. It's a great location with walking distance to shops, beach etc and the villa has all you might need including a pool.

Our villa was amazing and the owner Johan was brilliant, fantastic communication and so friendly. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, the facilities in the villa were spot on everything you needed was there. Definitely recommend this villa.

We loved our stay at Johans villa. It was so quiet & peaceful. Everything we needed was provided & openly available - clean bedding & towels etc. the kitchen was immaculate, it certainly exceeded our expectations. A home very well cared for & contact with Johan was immediate - thank you. We initially thought on arrival that we were out of town & would need to make use of our car but soon realised all was in walking distance - Mercadona only a 5 min stroll away & the stroll downhill to Burriana beach only another 10 mins & to our delight could then walk to the centre of Nerja along the beach path, up some steps & onto a quiet pedestrianised road into the centre so we went most evenings. We got taxis home (steep uphill walk!) & only cost 8-10 euros!! We will certainly be back & wouldn’t book anywhere else but this villa 🌞👌

Villa was clean and very nice,in a nice location in capistrano village. Enjoyed the private pool and also the large pool on the complex,supermarket 10 minute walk and nice bar on the complex(cave bar). Lovely large fridge/freezer and gas BBQ in the villa,and all the utensils required in the kitchen. We enjoyed it so much,we have booked the villa for next year.

This was one of the best holidays I've ever had, thanks to this wonderful property. It was simply beautiful with a perfect level of privacy, but not too far from shops/bars/restaurants. Johan was an amazing host and really responsive. I hope to be able to book with Johan again in the future.

The villa is so much more than the pictures tell.. the space is well laid out and everything is thought of. The kitchen had everything we needed and more for a great experience. The outside areas are fab, with a area for every part of the day! Pool was spotless and communication excellent. It is obvious the owners of this lovely place take care of their beautiful villa and we were lucky to get to enjoy with our family too!

Wow – what an outstanding villa in a picturesque location. This is our second time on El-Capistrano and this villa didn’t disappoint. Ahead of arrival Johan was in touch with instructions and useful info ahead of our arrival. The villa itself was absolutely spotless, nice modern kitchen, open living and dining area, 2 bedrooms with access to the terrace and the private pool was absolutely brilliant for the kids, oh and the bbq was a nice bonus! The on-site bars and pool side bar were fantastic for those days where you just want to be lazy and hang out in El-Capistrano, there’s also 2 supermarkets within a 5-10min walk. We spent most of our beach time down at Burriana beach which is a 20-25min walk, plenty of great food and drink options available here. When we come back to Nerja we’ll definitely be looking to stay here 😊

Been before and we will go again - great house / location

The house is perfectly located on El Capistrano. The bonus of having a pool was brilliant and we were surprised it was larger than the photos show and gets the sun from about 4pm which is perfect from when you get back from the beach or main pool The home is very well equipped - everything you could need and the owner Johan was on hand by phone at every moment if we needed advice or help. I can't recommend enough.

Johan var superbra att ha att göra med och allt funkade kanon! Trots att vädret var lite sämre än väntat trivdes vi oerhört bra och mycket på grund av huset och dess omgivning. Om vi skulle önska något ytterligare skulle det möjligtvis vara en torktumlare vid dåligt väder. Jag och min familj rekommenderar villan till alla varje dag i veckan😊! The Villa was top class comfortable and spotless the bedrooms upstairs were of good size with high quality beds and tv in each room with movie and sports channels bbc itv and even rte1!! Also a balcony from the bedrooms upstairs taking in mountain and sea views a lovely spot for breakfast in the morning sun. The sitting room has nice leather chairs tv with all chanells dvd player and some dvd's.The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil or gadget you could want if you are into cooking on your hols there is also a washroom and last but not least the pool where we spent most of our time was amazing with lovely sun loungers and outside shower with hot water first time we have had this. Overall this Villa was outstanding and we have booked already for next year. Johan is a pleasure to deal with so helpful from start to finish and also Rita who looks after the property is really lovely and was there to meet us on arrival so thank you Johan and Rita

We have just returned from 2 weeks at this gorgeous villa, the comfort and thought put in to making it such a wonderful place are a direct reflection of the owners. Every comfort and requirement has been considered to a very generous degree ( condiments/ herbs and cleaning products etc all available. The decor is stylish and comfortable and the location within capistrano is idyllic. We are already booking next year as we are missing it so much! Our fourth visit to Nerja and El Capistrano village and at last we have found the perfect villa. Beautifully appointed throughout with everything you could possibly imagine needing provided with style and generosity, a haven of relaxation. El Capistrano village is quiet and well maintained, just 2km from the bustling town of Nerja. Johan is a kind, helpful and welcoming host and the whole experience was sheer pleasure.

You can walk into town within 15 to 20 minutes and there is a large supermarket at the half-way point. We stayed here in January so I can't comment on the aircon or the pool etc but the outdoor areas caught the winter sun for at least five hours every day. The garden furniture is first class and there is also a roof terrace with two cosy sofas.This is a property which is head and shoulders above the average rental, the beds were extremely comfortable, the furnishings are tasteful and there are three TV's with a full UK Sky package. There were numerous books, DVD's and games and every cupboard and drawer contained the items that make a holiday easier.... candles, serviettes, cocktail sticks, olive oil, herbs & spices and enough cutlery & crockery to host a party.

We stayed in this villa in sep with our 2 small children and did not want to leave. It was equipped with everything you could need and so child friendly with plenty of space. It had stair gates and gates out to private pool. There was also a communal pool you could use which was great as it had baby pool so our 20 month old baby loved that. We will definitely be back as we didnt even have to go out at night. We bbq and sat on the terrace while kids watched Dvd,S. Nicest place i have stayed in.

Welcoming home, with great pool and patio, bbq,loungers, awnings and colourful garden. A homely feel indoors, well equiped throughtout. Excellent villa in the haven of Capistrano, the warren of flower bedecked lanes a pleasure to savour. 20min, brisk, walk down to Nerja with all tastes covered.We have enjoyed this villa, it truely makes you at ease with your surroundings, really cool place. Easy to book with owners,also reassuringly pleasant. Wonderful experience.

We spent a week in this lovely villa in May. The villa is very much home from home with everything you could possibly need. El Capistrano is a very pretty village and very well maintained. Nerja town is a 25 min walk downhill but there are buses to bring you back or taxis at €7. Johan was very helpful during the booking process as was the lovely Rita who met us on arrival. We would definitely recommend this villa and would love to return later in the year.

i have stayed in el capistrano many times before, but i have to say this is the best villa i have stayed in, Johan the owner is extremely helpful. the villa was spotless, when we arrived we were met by rita who looks after the place and she was very nice, the views are wonderful. it is only a short stroll to a local supermarket, there is a restaurant on capistrano as well and also the cave bar.i would definitely recommend the villa to anyone.

We must say this is the best villa we have stayed in. . The initial booking process is simple and straightforward, Both Johan the owner and Rita, the lovely lady who looks after the villa couldn't have been more helpful. A lovely touch from Johan, it was my birthday while we were there and he sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers.The villa is furnished very tastefully and has every comfort, making our stay perfect. It is situated in a very peaceful location with wonderful views of the mountains, the sea and surrounding countryside, but is within easy walking distance of Nerja, a lovely Spanish town, with lots of tapas bars, restaurants, beaches and good shopping. We would not hesitate to come back to the villa, Capistrano in the sunshine is a most beautiful place

We have returned to the villa so many times. This year was very special, as a family, with our baby girl and all the perfect facilities needed for a trouble-free holiday. The villa feels very homely, clean and spacious and you can't help but relax and switch off from the minute you arrive. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay - whether as a family, couples, friends etc. In addition, the villa is very unique and special with its own private pool for more chilling on lilos and swimming too! The pool is set in beautiful, well maintained gardens. Plus there's an outside shower which is lovely to shower outside in the garden and warmth of the sun too! There is a lovely beach you can go to if you fancy a change. The position of the villa means all day sunshine but plenty of shade if needed too - which worked well with our little one. We'd have coffee on the upper terrace early morning through to BBQ's on the bottom patio - sipping a glass of fizz as the sun goes down! Nerja is a lovely part of Spain and the villa is in a perfect location and beautiful setting - the road runs on the outside of El Capistrano making it a safe and quiet location. Stunning views and beautiful walkways - it has a very Spanish feel to El Capistrano. No two villas/apartments are the same so it doesn't feel like a holiday complex more a private village/community. There are good amenities on El Capistrano too. Nerja town is easy to get to from the villa - you can walk, taxi or shuttle bus where you'll find restaurants, bars and shops to suit everyone's needs. You are made to feel welcome by everyone. So, you can stay at the villa and cook (local supermarkets are well stocked) or you can go out every night if you want to. Johan, the owner, is extremely efficient and customer service is second to none! He can't do enough for you and makes the booking process so simple. The team that support Johan in Spain are also helpful and friendly. We could go on about this villa and location all day long ... we love to stay here so much ... we've booked for next year :-) Highly recommend!

The villa was perfect in every way from its peaceful position in Nerja but yet near to supermarkets and a pleasant 20 min stroll to the Balcon and beaches. The villa is very well equipped for meals and BBQ and restaurants are within easy reach. Both the owner and onsite managers of the property were helpful throughout the booking process and our stay. No wonder this villa is booked a year in advance , but well worth the wait !!

Four of us 'forty somethings' (two couples) rented this lovely villa for a week in May and from initial communication with the owner (Johan) through to the moment we left to come home everything was first class. A quick phone call en route from the airport to Rita who met us on arrival and we were there without any fuss. We didn't need to call her at all but knowing that Rita was on hand locally should we need any help with anything was very comforting. We found the property was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly want or need during our stay. El Capistrano is a quiet residential village so it is very peaceful and not the place to have big pool parties with loud music, which suited us perfectly. It is a pleasant 25 min stroll to town with plenty of bars and restaurants (or 7 euro in a taxi). If you have a car and head east along the coast, there is some stunning scenery, especially if you take the sign to Cerro Gordo off the N340, it's quite a breath taking road and you are further rewarded near the end with the Restaurante Cerro Gordo which was perfect for taking in the stunning vistas with a cold beer (didn't try the food). Back to the villa, the views from the top terrace are beautiful and it was lovely to sit up there and have breakfast. If you prefer to stay at home all day and languish around the lovely pool playing with your I pad then it's perfect as the sun is in the garden all day until late in the evening and the wi-fi signal was great inside and out. There is a big gas bar-b-q on the bottom terrace (we didn't use it but I imagine that it would complete your day of rest perfectly). There is a big supermarket just down the road for all your supplies but a good tip if you are arriving late by car is to stop at the petrol station just off the motorway to pick up a few essentials such as milk. In summary, this was like a home from home (except much much nicer) and I would not hesitate to recommend to anybody looking for a holiday in a beautiful villa complete with with all your creature comforts and with the added bonus of your own private pool. I would suggest you rent it but, please, not for too long because we four are all desperate to go back there again sooner rather than later.

We stayed for a week in april. family with 2young kids I have to say what a villa it was beautiful.. A total home from home.. Spotless clean, spacious, very secure and child friendly with stair gates and gate on pool just made it relax .excellent outdoor facilities from the pool to bbq .. The villa had a really comfortable feeling about it you needed nothing from beach towels to a needle and thread this villa is one of the best!!rita was very friendly and helpfull and yourself johan great communication...I will absolutly go back again sooner rather than later ..We were in agreat location near shops, new supermarket and walking distance to town. Many thanks Johan your home made our holiday.

Myself, my husband and our 2 children had the good fortune of staying in this stunning property. We received a very warm welcome from a lovely lady (Rita). The villa is beautifully furnished throughout and immaculately clean. It had every convenience in the kitchen and throughout. The pool was lovely and all outside areas well maintained. The pool was fantastic as it got the sun all afternoon until sunset so perfect. You could not ask for nicer more homely, inviting accommodation than this. We all loved it and will definitely return if it is available. Huge thanks to the owners for everything, including the bubbly left for us in the fridge!

My wife's dearest wish is to own a lovely Villa such as this one but as we can't the next best thing for us is to go there as often as we can. This was our second visit in 2013 and like coming home when Rita and Dave met us on arrival. We very much like staying in the El Capistrano village which we have been doing for over 13 years and only recently discovered this lovely detached villa with its own private swimming pool and sundeck. A real find for us and we will most certainly come back whenever we can. However, our next visit to Nerja at Easter coincides with Johan and his family staying in their villa so we have had to find another bolt hole at El Capistrano but hope to have the privilege of meeting Johan and Fredrika just to say hello.The villa itself is so well maintained and furnished with quality goods as you would expect from the owners Johan and Fredrika who spend their own family holidays at the villa. It is ideal for either a small family or just a couple like us although we did take another couple with us earlier in the year. We would certainly recommend the villa to our friends or relatives as it has everything you need for a truly great holiday.
