We enjoyed our stay at Retallack, our apartment was lovely and we found it a great location to base ourselves to see around Cornwall. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was lovely minus balcony that is not cleaned so bird poo and cobwebs all over it

Would not class this as a 5* resort. Rooms were tired, they have been slightly modernised but still missing that 5 star feeling. The swimming pool and changing rooms are terrible and worse than a community centre pool. Overall poor and did not live up to standards. The one area I would rate as 5 star is the kids rep, she was fantastic!

The barn that we stayed in was great, however the resort facilities seemed a little tired. The swimming pool & gym were average and definitely not 5*

The surrounding area was too far & limited access to transport

The place was amazing only downfall for our stay was limited swimming times, felt like we couldn’t go far if we had swimming booked in and it was only 1 session per day. Would have been perfect if there was more access to swimming facilities on site

Resort facilities are fantastic, lodge very dirty, dog hair everywhere, body hair in shower/ bath, interior is very worn. 2 star at best

Lovely place, had a great time with my family. Definitely would recommend.

Overall a very nice property. What needs to be addressed- Kitchen knifes were broken and blunt. Main bathroom mixer shower was permanently hot. Bathroom tiles cracked.

Didnt use any of the facilities or restaurant on site but our accommodation was beautiful and we had the best week

Second time here. So convenient for beautiful beaches. Great on site facilities. We had two requests for customer services, dealt with efficiently and quickly. Only thing I would change is reduce the gaps on the lower rails of the decking so that small dogs can go out there safely.

kitchen found it hard to cope at times only able to get cooked breakfast twice in a week adequate/activities only on some days at certain times expensive// no family games room/no recommended days out/staff friendly//needs something to do for evenings and bad weather

Not a bad place to stay, but a little short of special. The rooms in the accommodation are a bit dark. The decking over the lake caught little sun and had a bit of a tired appearance.

Our stay at the Retallack Resort & Spa was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The staff was really polite and helpful. We had a bit of car troubles leading up to our departure which required us extending our checkout time at the very last minute and Jade/Jud was really helpful with assisting with this extension. We'll definitely be visiting again and would recommend to any family seeking a relaxing, peaceful and quite get away.

This was just a perfect little get away in beautiful surroundings. Check in very smooth, barn was lovely. Shower water was nowhere hot enough though. Sink down have crack, but ok to still use. Loved the hot tub and beautiful open plan kitchen/diner/living room. Beds and pillow comfy. Lakeside view was just perfect! We had cocktails in the bar on the Friday and Harvey was a lovely young man and made some of the best cocktails I’ve tasted! Thanks Harvey. Amazingly they cater for gluten free and the food was amazing thank you. Disappointed flow rider was out of order but these things cannot be helped. Lovely little beach and activity bit. The surrounds were just tranquil. Bins would be with tidy up and being emptied as were overflowing unfortunately. Would definitely return as loved it!

Retallack in Cornwall is a must! Had a lovely time with hot tub included. The place is quiet but close to most of the places like Newquay beach.

We were very dubious due to some bad reviews but we were really happy with our executive barn with hot tub. Really nice accommodation in a great location which was clean and comfortable throughout. We were also lucky enough our hot tub was hot enough to use on the first night. Only downsides were speed bumps are very severe, WiFi was glitchy and could have done with some sharp knives. But they are minor issues for us. Would definitely stay again.

Easy parking and central to the areas we wanted to visit.

Great location. Really lovely apartment. Very well equipped and very comfortable. The staff were so nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our 4 day break.

We stayed in a modern, almost new 2 bed barn property in mid-May. The bathroom was well laid out and a selection of towels and toiletries were provided. The lounge was open plan, roomy and bright with a large openable slide door/window containing comfortable furniture; the kitchen area was perfectly adequate for traveller needs with a good selection of cutlery/crockery. There was an outside area with seating, although residents would be overlooked by neighbours. The activities/watersports seemed limited (and pricey) for a venue of this size which would likely lead families to try out other similar fun related facilities elsewhere early in their stay. We used our visit as a base to explore from and it met our needs in this respect completely. Parking was easy just outside the property. There is a restaurant on site which we did not use as we were warned off by other holiday makers.

A nice break away, quiet and convenient. Lots of things to do in the area.

A lovely presented property. Overlooking the lake, waking up to that view was great. Would definitely return in the future.

When we first got there it was filthy and you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned before we got there - stuff smeared all over the walls and VERY dusty so we went to reception and just asked if there was anything they could do and then we were told that they would send a cleaner but had no idea how long it would take but were assured that a cleaner was already down there , we sat outside for AN HOUR before we rang them to ask what was going on as no cleaner was there only to be told that all the cleaners had actually gone home?! So we asked what else could we do as I don’t get to go away often and I was just really upset that it was dirty , they told us they wouldn’t move us anywhere so we just had to ‘make do’ and we couldn’t have any money back so we requested a call back from the supervisor or management the next day and never got anything , I also brought this up with Expedia who I booked through and they rang the resort and were told that there was nothing wrong with the room and that it was fine so we were essentially waiting for cleaners that were never going to come , I spent about 3/4 hours our first night trying to sort this out , only to go and get into bed and find it covered in hair?! Absolutely awful - ruined my birthday

So pleased with our stay at Retellak Resort. Quick and easy check in by very pleasant staff. Accommodation was very clean and modern with everything we needed for our stay. The bed and pillows were super comfy and we had a great night's sleep. The whole park area was spacious and very well kept. Would definitely return
