It is a beautiful property. Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. A great, friendly staff. The River Restaurant is great. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food is outstanding.

Excellent every time

When we arrived at the property carrying our luggage from a 10 hour drive from the city, we had to open the front lobby door ourselves even though there were two employees at the lobby telling each other jokes.. staff not very friendly, each morning we had to say good morning first otherwise no saluting from them.

5 minutes to down town. staff really had not recommendations for town, but were friendly, spanish only

Not very responsive staff. Ignored my messages repeatedly

Clean room excellent but a bit pricey restaurant. Was charged 2.25 for a cup of coffee one day but 7.50 for two cups the next day. The shower could use a remodel, drains are slow to empty leaving us ankle deep. Otherwise ok, but booked a different place next time we were in town. Location was good, short walk to the main streets.

Its on the stream and has balconies with chairs to sit and enjoy the sounds and breeze. Bathroom needs a little updating but overall very good. I will stay there again, it was very nice.

We had a great stay while exploring Boquete and with the creek that flows behind the hotel, a great spot to sit and listen to the water. Close enough to get to the restaurants. Great having a restaurant in the facility for those days you do not want to head out.

It is a convenient hotel with a nice restaurant and patio. The property lacks maintenance. The pillows are old and thin. The AC smells like mold and leaks water. The towels need to be changed. The kids playground has damaged facilites that are dangerous. We’ve been visiting for years and we would love to come back when it is remodeled.

very nice rooms, had one overlooking the small river with an outdoor patio, also overlooking the mountains, beautiful the rooms was excellent, clean, large and comfortable with a TV! drove into town for dinner at the butcher shop resturant, very slow service but excellent steak and potatoe a nice town, highly reccomend this hotel!

Cool hotel to stay with children. There's a playground with jump place and different table games on the site. The room has a small kitchenette with coffee maker and refrigerator and table. It's very confortable and spacious and you have a balcony to spend your time enjoying a mountain or river view. If I go to Boquete again, I'll stay in this hotel again.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and it actually looked like it did in the photos. :-). Also the location was excellent I could see a stream from my balcony, and @ a 7-10 min walk to town center.

Broken leg on fridge kept tipping, curtains not closing complete, morning check out at 8 am nobody there.. nobody at desk after 9 pm.. had to go to restaurant to get help

Lead photo of the property does not do it justice. It's beautiful, especially the garden. The restaurant was also excellent. Nice laid back vibe.

Mountain setting close to the village.

The property is wonderfully kept, clean, lovely garden, great staff and restaurant.

A really serene environment. A really great stay. And the staff is very friendly.

The setting is wonderful. Alongside a small river with views of the mountain behind. There were coffee trees climbing up the mountain and orchids along the stream. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. This has become our go to place in Boquete.

There was no wifi on the rooms. The fan made a squeking noise. The AC was not working properly. The phone did not work at all. You could hear the next room noises, very clear.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The cleaning staff did a decent job cleaning the room. But, one really doesn't know how a hotel is until they stay there for a while. I stayed Valley Del Rio hotel for a week and a half at this hotel. The walls in between the rooms are "paper thin". A person can hear everything that is going on in the adjacent room or in a room few doors down the hall. Also, the fire alarm kept on going off almost every night. Needless to say, I didn't get hardly any sleep while I stayed at the Valley Del Rio hotel.

Boquete is nice. This hotel too

Just far enough away from the busy, connected downtown area. Overwhelming green areas, very picturesque and quiet. Excellent restaurant and menu. Would definitely stay again.

the hotel seems dated....had an old iPhone charger without an adapter for newer models..I think it was an iPhone 1 type clock charger....the alarm clock went off at midnight...couldn't turn it off..had to unplug it. The bed was comfortable with a nice blanket..it gets cold at night and I had to turn off the A/C. Took a while to figure out the TV, none of the housekeepers seemed to know how to make it work, but after 1/2 hour or so I did find an English Channel ( it was on Spanish" Peppa pig", when I turned it on and we couldn't get rid of it for a while. On line photos make it look very nice..not exactly my experience.

I was beautiful! super clean and comfortable. the garden was gorgeous. One of the cleaning ladies was extremely helpful when we couldnt figure out the coffe machine. nighttime front desk was friendly and extremely helpful. I will come back to this hotel.

Accomodation was pretty good, is near to the town, very quiet, very clean and staff are very helpfulness. I recommend the hotel.

The people everywhere here are great. The restaurant and the atmosphere on the porch are amazing! The room was well appointed and roomy with a nice patio overlooking the stream. Everything perfect except the walls are a little thin and there were outdoor noises from next door through much of the night.

They have a nice area by the river to sit and enjoy at night.

Where to start... this hotel claims to be the only hotel in Boquete with AC in all rooms - this is a flat out lie, my room didn't have AC - and I wish it had because the room was stuffy and hot. Food in the restaurant is inedible, and that's not an exaggeration. Very odd given that Boquete actually has some of the best food in Panama. Wifi simply doesn't reach the rooms and isn't usable at all. Complaining about it did no good as all the receptionist had to say was "correct, correct, correct". Laundry prices are obscene. Also, the policy of charging you $10 if you lose the room key - which is the typical plastic room key you get everywhere - is unbelievable and something I had never seen before. The safe kept on malfunctioning, which is an issue when the maid leaves your 1st story room balcony completely open when she's done. When power goes out, their generator sounds like a 747 is revving its engine inside your ears.
