The hotel is very well located for visiting the city - the main station is 5-10 mins walk from the S1 platform if coming from airport that way & there are 2 underground stations & several bus stops within a few minutes walk. The staff were excellent, really working hard & extremely helpful. breakfast was great & well stocked - it ran for a long time on weekends. Luggage was stored if arriving early or checking out before leaving the city. We didn't use the gym/sauna so can't comment on those. Unfortunately there were 2 "downers" when we were there: 1. The lift wasn't working (Thurs to Mon) so it was quite a trek but the staff kindly carried our cases for us - hopefully it is resolved by now. 2. There is major construction work directly opposite the hotel which starts at 07.00 every day, except Sunday - we were warned by the hotel of potential disruption & as most, if not all hotel rooms face the construction works, there is no avoidance of the noise unless you have very good ear plugs or are a deep sleeper. That said, the staff did their utmost to compensate for both these issues and I would be happy to stay again, even as a light sleeper - there was no noise after 5pm or so . Thanks for a good break

I have stayed here on 3 occasions. I come back because it's an elegant, welcoming, friendly and relaxed stay. Rooms are stylishly furnished, spacious with comfortable beds and excellent shower in spotless bathroom. Breakfast was tasty with a wide variety served buffet style. The staff is always helpful but , on this occasion, exceptionally so. I stayed for four nights but on the third day a problem developed with the lift and it was out of action for a few days. As I was on the fourth floor, this presented problems. Stairs, particularly four flights of them, are not easy for me. When I said this to the lady at reception, she was very helpful and secured me a room on the first floor. This was kind and much appreciated. It struck me that If every hotel I stayed in had a lady as charming, friendly, helpful and efficient as the one I met here, it would be hard to choose where to stat. For Hamburg, it's definitely here.

Lovely stay for a few days in Hamburg. Very convenient for main line station and central Hamburg. Staff were excellent and the morning breakfast comes highly recommended!

Nice modern hotel with flexible snack options available when a meal isn’t being served. There is a short flight of stairs required to access the lobby from the street. From there a lift is available to guest rooms. Construction was active during he day across the street, but was not an inconvenience in the evenings.

The place was good, nice personel. Only the surroundings were a bit disappointing

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room spacious and clean. The shower temperature was perfect. The kitchen space with snacks is very convenient and of good quality.
