What a beautiful location! So romantic!

The service was not great. Understaffed and often did not understand or answer your request. Slow service at everything from restaurants to the spa room service etc. WARNING! The saune is for adults only. Do not got there with your kids. People go there naked but there was no warning for this and no one from the staff told us this local culture deed. Food was rubbish but Switzerland as a whole does not have great food to be honest. The hotel is nice the manager was very kind to upgrade us. The facilities were great location is good and you have shuttle service for free. Its a really nice hotel.

Satisfying and worth its price tag. No Xmas tree for the room possible though. Solid spa services.

Beautiful hotel in excellent location. Fantastic rooms, great views from balcony, nice Alpine designs throughout. Staffing in the Club Lounge was at modest levels, leaving tables dirty and food offerings lacking during peak hours. Everything else: perfect.

Hi. These guys have absolutely no clue what they doing. Housekeeping is basic at best. Reception is highly confused and delayed. Technical support is nonexistent and half the facilities in the room don't work. It's like a nightmare just to get wifi. The only department that's on the ball is Laura and her team at concierge. The rest have much to yearn for, however Mr Diego from the F&B tries to help but his staff are pathetic....

We are very satisfied with our stay in general. The hotel is located quite far away from the centre, but I’d say it’s an advantage, rather than disadvantage, since it’s always quiet and you can enjoy the views of the nature after a tiring day of skiing. The spa is amazing too, but around 4pm there is always loads of kids that splash around the pool, so I’d advice you to go there after or before the “rush hour”. Despite the fact that the hotel is located on its own, there is a convenient shuttle that takes you to skiing stations, so we never had a problem with that. I was learning to snowboard, so the driver was picking me up from a completely different location without any hassle just a call away. The only problem I’d say is the cleaning service, the housekeepers used to always forget something in our room, like a cleaning spray or paper towels right in the middle of the bed, sometimes they wouldn’t even clean our room before 12pm, so when we get back from skiing we have to take a shower and be in a room, which means that we’d have to stay in unserviced room for the rest of the day even if we leave.. that was something we experienced for the first time in a 5 star hotel, especially the forgetfulness of the maids, which became a guessing game: “what missing item will we find today? Do you think they cleaned our room at all?” And we’d have to pick around the corner as we walk out of the elevator just to find that the note “please make up our room” is still there...

Summary: This is not a 5 Star hotel. We have stayed at least 3 times with the same experience. The key problem is still lack of leadership at the service level. Personnel is friendly but mostly still in training. Floors and tables in lounge area were consistently dirty. Our room was typically not made up until 16h in the afternoon. At breakfast, we were told by the waiter to get fried eggs and tea ourselves at the buffet upon asking for it. The food in the restaurants is overpriced and clearly below the quality you get for the same price in a premium restaurant in Switzerland. On weekends, the hotel is clearly understaffed in relation to the number of guests.

Stayed at Intercontinental Davos around the New Year's holidays with the family - everybody loved it! Everything worked nicely, service was great (although the staff looked overworked, they compensated with genuine friendliness), there are three excellent restaurants; the room was rather large, comfortable, with a great view towards the valley and the mountains. The kids loved the outdoor swimming pool.

The best ever holiday start to finish a lot more than what we have expected staff restaurant service facilities all in all top service I will highly recommend it to anyone would like to spend luxury time and to be treated as a princess thank you Expedia and thank you Intercontinental devils especially the receptionist very helpful knowledgeable

Short walk out of Davos, complimentary concierge shuttle service offered. Very clean, modern and well presented. Staff were extremely polite and accommodating. Indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, steam room all excellent. 2 restaurants same price as restaurants in Davos. Quiet and relaxing. Only down side was in room films charged at 19 francs each 😡😡

Stayed at the intercontinental Davos for 5 days, with my two teenage children, with the view to ski just before christmas. Transfer between the hotel and ski station needs to be frequent. The day we left we couldn't get the early train because we were stranded in Parsenn. Also, the restaurants ie the Restaurant Capricorn and others had no menu at the entrance. My children were looking forward to a juicy burger. We assumed that there would be a vast selection of food;however, to my children's shock only 4 choices for the main course. On top of that the food was overpriced. 84 francs for a 100g of rump steak. That's more expensive than some 5* Michelin restaurants in London! At times the hotel can seem a bit pretentious; the channel about their own hotel was a giveaway. However, I'm hard to please and the maid service was outstanding. Definitely will stay here again when skiing in Davos!

This is a jewel of a hotel. It is nestled in a post card beautiful setting. It rises magnificently like a golden pine cone. The hotel is gorgeous. The simple use of materials, flowers, illumination and of course, the architecture. The rooms are very comfortable and there are so many luxurious details. The restaurant in the 10th floor has a very limited menu, so if you want a real meal, use the one on the ground floor. The personnel was attentive and knowledgeable and extremely professional. Our stay here was a total pleasure. Recommend it with five stars.
