There are a couple issues that need to be addressed and resolved. So for the price no, I don’t recommend this place at all 1: Valet is absurd. There is no place to park and for Hotel Guests you’re forced to park across street which suddenly is the Ghetto or take Valet which is $40 a night. That’s just insanity. 2: layout of room is crap. Why is the couch facing the bed? Why is the TV mounted on a wall in between so you can’t see the TV unless you move the heavy couch in the middle which Blocks the bathroom entrance once you do? Who designed this, Helen Keller? 3: noise of the fridge, noise of the a/c is absurd. It’s all I heard all night and it makes you feel like you have tinnitus. 4: The design looks ok, but it’s an empty bland shell with no amenities. Either you go eat at the very overpriced restaurant or you order food. That’s it. I’m not spending $30 on a burger with a drink. It has a nice theme (20’s) but it lacks in that aspect as well. The bed was ok nothing great. Pillows were comfy. It has Roku service which is ok but overall would NOT recommend.

Great hotel, unfortunately the building was covered in scaffolding. Didn’t make a great view. Otherwise loved the hotel, very comfortable, beautiful and friendly staff.

Amazing hotel !!.

The location was great. The outside of the building was under construction so all your views are obstructed. The shower had no hot water, but the sink did. Other than that it’s a great hotel room, beautiful and great staff.

Overall our stay was good. My only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star was because the AC in our room was not the best, and one of the elevators was broken and there was a convention going on so the elevator took very long to arrive. Other than that the customer service was A1. The young lady that checked us in was very nice and so helpful.

The beds were very clean and comfortable! The hotel was under construction and limited in services. The parking was $40.00 per 24 hr and I was expecting $15.00. Maybe after the construction they will have more to offer.

The location was very good and in a middle of everything and walkable for everything so you did not need to drive but you could take an Uber and things. Were very close by to the hotel? While we are at our stay the hotel was being renovated on the exterior so it did not look very appealing until you got inside the hotel.

There was no pool and the listing said there was. A 60$ fee for what?? After driving 18 hours we asked for an early check in and they said NO ? Seriously? Terrible excuse for a hotel.

Wonderful stay will definitely stay there again in future

It was nice, better than i expected. A little old but the room was huge and updated. There was no hot water, but they fixed ot right away.

Room had no hot water and hallway smelled of mildew

The hotel is a 1920s themed hotel under construction, the inside was completely finished and in great physical order. The outside had scaffolding and for the price as well as the cleanliness this was awesome.

Our stay was excellent. Building has scaffolding outside due to repairs but that doesn’t bother me. The inside is very pretty and clean. Check in was a breeze and the lady at the counter was super friendly, sweet and helpful. Since it was slow season, she gave us a room at the last floor without scaffolding on the windows. Also gave us a complementary champagne and breakfast for 2 persons for 2 days. The hotel also has daily chocolate chip cookies in the lobby for grabs. The hotel offers free shuttle to anywhere within 3 miles, to and from any destination (but we didn’t use it since we were exploring the city on foot). The room was spotless and very spacious. Daily bottled water when they do housekeeping. We called lobby a few times to ask for something and they always had everything with a happy yes. We ordered Uber Eats, the food came without utensils, asked lobby and they gave us some. Forgot our toothpaste, called the lobby, surely enough they had toothpaste and also gave us a toothbrush. Someone was always at the front desk 24/7. Our flight was very early in the morning. Did check out like at 4:30 am, another breeze and we were on our way back home. We loved our stay! ❤️

There was under construction! And I had a lot of hidden fees! They made you pay for valet and there was not a big parking lot and a lot of construction going on

No hot water and construction during our stay. Air conditioner leaked water on the floor and room smelt like mold.

I enjoyed staying at the Flor Hotel. The children's museum and river walk is 5 min away. The River walk is absolutely beautiful at night. Also there are a few bars but zero late night restaurants for families. The only issue i experienced during my trip was a non working desk phone. It's convenient for contacting front desk instead they made promises to resolve and never did. Although that bothered me, i would book a room here again. Architectural feel of this hotel is beauty and class. I hope Hilton keeps it in that category but they must make necessary repairs.

The hotel is in the process of being redone. That being said, it is gorgeous in the restaurants and lobby. Our room was perfect and spotless. I will stay here again when I come to see the Lightning play or a show at the Straz.

Service was good but Elevators were not working and had to walk 14 flights with luggage.

Was a very nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast and helpful staff members.

Cons: A room was not ready upon our arrival At 4:15 PM. Check-in is at 4 PM. We did receive a voucher for two free cocktails at their bar within the building. (I just think about the people who do not drink alcohol. What would they have given them a voucher for?) I also don’t think that our bed was actually a king size bed. I do believe it was possibly a California queen. The room we were in did not have a blow dryer. When you showered, you can hear the pipes extremely loud clanking. I do not like how the bathroom was so close to The entrance of our bedroom and that you can see the lighting in the outdoor hallway from under the bedroom door. The carpeting within the room was a dark gray color, but you could still see some stains within the floor carpeting. I highly recommend wearing sandals and not walking barefoot in there. I’m not sure how I feel about the mini fridge being within the dresser and being down so low. Also, the coffee maker was within the dresser as well and also down low. There was obviously people smoking a crazy amount of marijuana that night Somewhere within our hallway when we returned from our festivities and in the morning when we left ,you can smell it in the hallway as well. Pros: The staff was friendly. The bartender was great. He makes an amazing Old-fashioned with a hibiscus flower smoked. I like how the building feels and looks Historical still in someways, but also Like the new touches they have added Within decoration.

Elevator never worked Smell/A/C was leaking on the carpet had to change rooms.

Property has definitely done a lot of renovating. The new renovations are gorgeous from the inside. It gives modern vintage vibes. Due to still renovating they only had one working elevator. Some food options were available. The coffee shop was cute and had great coffee. However, the restaurant inside the hotel was not the best quality food especially for the prices. As a huge foodie I was hoping for something a little better. The exterior of the property is still under construction. Not much room to park in front of the hotel to unload and check in but they do offer valet parking on the side of the hotel that you unfortunately have to walk out of the building to get to. Overall though, it was a great experience. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I could also see where this hotel still has a lot of potential and will be even more of an outstanding place to stay once all the renovations are complete.
