Property is good and convenient location - MG Road and Brigade Road. Front staff and check in experience is good.

Breakfast was not good - not much variety. Taj managed standards not maintained. Display of breakfast is not good.

Breakfast ok but the room we got for the price we paid is worthless. We paid 30000 rupees for 2 and half day. The room AC was noisy and loud, bathroom and the room is not upto five star hotel standard. Unsatisfied and would not recommend anyone.

Sis not liked the room at all. It did not meet 5 star hote standard.

breakfast was great. Room was good but there was a renewation going on next to ur room so a bit noisy during the day. The hotel staff did inform us a day before our visit when i called for confirmation but it was too late for me to make any changes.

The lady on reception was amazing - so friendly, so helpful and very knowledgeable. We really appreciated her help.

The breakfast was fantastic. The Indian food was amazing. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food at the Kaarveli restaurant was exceptionally good. The staff are also very helpful.

This is not a 5 star hotel, Very small rooms with tasteless decor . Cramped gym with no space for streching a yoga mat The reception staff and manager are trained to exhibit pleasant welcome to membership holders and business guest only! Dont expect a 5 star welcome from them. This is a basic hotel thats old and no amount interior designing will help. Avoid this hotel at all cost and choose the real taj across the line

The Room was nice, it is on best location in Bengaluru next to MG Road, lot of good hotels around and has best connectivity. The breakfast is good and we had quality food.

Only the food. It was very tasty. Buffet spread for the breakfast was very good.

Renovation was going on in the hotel which was supposed to be stopped at 6PM. But unfortunately for us until 8 PM there was hammering, drilling and motor sounds right above our floor and it was very irritating. The sound stopped after repeated calls to the reception. This was meant to be a weekend break for us but frankly I felt that I was more relaxed and at peace at my home.

Warm hospitality and room size.

I expected breakfast to be more attended rather than rushed affair.

Room were very old and not maintained, found cockroach in the washroom and when informed about this there was no positive response initially. When asked for a room change I was told we are fully booked so can't give another room.

Rooms needs to improved as it doesn't justify the money we are paying.

Enthusiastic staffing

My second visit under the Vivanta branding, though I've also used this property under previous entities (East West, Gateway etc). Each time, upon check in I'm provided a room from the last century (outdated fixtures, grimy toilets) and when Reception is prompted to review my rooming nites, I am then moved to a room befitting my booking revenue. I should not have to go thru this after arriving tired and jetlagged.

Good location

The staff was excellent. Very proactive, friendly and always willing to assist and help . The front desk / reception staff, the managers and staff of the breakfast restaurant, the maintenance and engineering staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant.
