Beautiful classic hotel within the Old Town walls - Old wall ramparts right across the street. Excellent kind staff. Great comfortable room. Convenient walk from train station. Five minute walk to main square.

Nice location, friendly staff. Room was small and a bit old fashioned (do not like that carpets on the floor) but comfortable enough.

Beautiful hotel and delicious breakfast but it’s very noisy at night from the street

From check-in to check-out, it was excellent. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They assisted in getting us familiar with Old Town Krakow, assisted with taxi rides and even helped us book a bus ride to Novy Sacz. The bartender was very friendly and made great evening cocktails. The room was spacious and clean. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. The location couldn’t have been better. We would definitely stay here again. And would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Krakow.

Absolutely lovely staff from cleaners to restaurant to front of house. Extremely quiet for a central old town location and a great breakfast buffet. We can heartily recommend this charming hotel.

Perhaps it was 5 star hotel during communist time but does not deserve more than 2 to 3 stars today. Regular rooms are small, decorated with cheap reproductions, trying to make the rooms and the hotel look elegant and antic but fails, used up furniture, mold in our bathroom, rusty curtain bar in the bathroom, and view at the garbage cans in the back. Carpets are worn out, only instant coffee and cheap tea in the rooms. Needs renovation. Great location, much overpriced for what it is.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, providing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The property itself is good looking and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making my stay enjoyable. The room featured a large bathroom with a great soaking tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Additionally, the AC in the room ensured a comfortable stay. However, the WiFi was poor and inconsistent, which was a bit frustrating. Despite this, the hotel’s other qualities make it a worthwhile choice, especially for its prime location and excellent facilities.

First, the staff was fabulous. Excellent English, and jumping from behind the counter to be helpful (more that once!). Room view meh, but it was well appointed, temp control was easy. There is a little bar with the restaurant but they will be happy to bring a drink down to a very plush lounge downstairs. Really close to great food, and the museum next door is pretty good. Very reasonable room rate, breakfast is nice. They are happy to book transport to the airport and other sites. Great place, would stay here again.

Great old iconic hotel in the heart of Old Town

I’ve stayed here a couple times and really enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is great, one problem can be the noise late at night in the area, but other than that this is a really good choice for enjoying the old city of Kraków.

Terrific location-I walked everywhere including bus station, Wawal Castle-the staff gave me every ounce of information I needed to take tram, busses, food, etc. it’s a great value for the money-it’s a more traditional hotel not like our 5 stars in US, but the staff surpassed all expectations.

Beautiful hotel, well located, excellent stay!

This hotel is charming and old-world plus perfectly located away from the more crowded areas, with a view of the old gates/wall of the city. The staff is wonderful, they are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just lovely, and a shout out to the friendly serving staff there as well. An excellent choice. Our room was so pretty and bright, with two giant windows.

We have stayed at Hotel Polski Pod numerous times and have always enjoy our stay. The location is great, the staff are very helpful and polite.

Lovely hotel ideally situated in the old town. The staff particularly Weronika and Oliver were very helpful in finding me tours to Auschwitz when mine was cancelled and making other suggestions about local eateries etc. I felt safe and comfortable even as a female traveller.

Lovely hotel very periodic, all the rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, staff are all very professional and polite, my mini fridge didn’t work and the drain for the sink was blocked but this happens so not a major problem and I cleared it myself as I’m in the trade. All in all, a lovely hotel in a quiet area, wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a stay here.

This property was amazing. Absolutely charming and only a short walk to the square. Very safe. The staff was the best I have seen. I can only give 5 stars because more are not an option. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Friendly stafff Hotel it’s a little out dated But ok

Wow. Best staff. Mateus, Oskar and Victoria treated us like dear friends helping us with every imaginable thing. Booking and arranging train schedules, luggage, dinner recommendations and reservations. Making us feel safe and cared for when we’d separate for different activities. Friendly greetings. We felt like we were returning home. We travel a lot. One young healthy and one old with mobility issues. This hotel is very close to everything - 3 minute Bolt/Uber walk at worst, 10 minute to large train station and giant mall. Very close but not on top of main square so it’s very peaceful without the young rowdy behavior right outside the door. William brought our baggage up and I hadn’t exchanged any money yet. I didn’t remember tip him and feel terrible. No one here has their hand out for tipping. Nice change from the States. Breakfast was well done with lots of variety, neat clean oft replaced/refilled. Rooms were spotless, beds comfortable. Nice pillows, 2 per person. Hotel provides a service for massage. They come to your room for about $60 US for an hour. Minifrig in room with lots of variety as cheap as a grocery store. $2 for a beer or soda. Nice touch. Best hotel I can remember staying at, I am home 24 hours and already miss it. Thank you.
