The hotel is nice, although its location is not within walking distance of many amenities, in addition, the hotel has seen better days, which is sad because I can see where it must have been spectacular in its day.

Almost everything was great, food was amazing. One worse thing we had was the plastic pillows. Such a beautiful and comfortable rooms have the WORSE touch you can have, the plastic pillows ?? I don’t know who would think that they are appropriate and comfortable, really?? Hotel management do not notice that even in the hospitals they give a better pillows ?? That was the only reason I am taking one star away. Otherwise hotel was amazing.

Overall good hotel but needs renovating. Lobby area is nice however the rooms are very basic for 5 star hotel. Poor lighting in the rooms. Breakfast has lots of variety. Hotel service is very good. Location isn't great, nothing within walking distance and is not a safe area to walk. A few people have been robbed around the area.

The wish is an oasis in the middle of a depressed area where people struggle to make ends meet. The highlight of the stay was the complimentary breakfast- it had many options, fruit, bread, sweet cakes, coffee, And excellent wait staff. The pictures make the pool area look fancy but it isn’t. However, they play the best music. Overall, I would stay here again. My second favorite hotel in Salvador, Brazil.

I really enjoyed staying at the Wish Hotel. Having breakfast and dinner included was great for a solo traveler if I didn't feel like going out. I enjoyed hanging out by the pool, relaxing and having their yummy snacks. It was a great stay with excellent service. The park nearby was also a great place to walk in the early evenings.

The hotel is considered one of the oldest in Salvador, and it shows… the lobby chairs and the sofa needs an upgrade.

Staff friendliness, good breakfast option. Didn't like the fact that I had to pay for parking in south america whereas I don't pay in most cities in usa. Also no coffee maker in the room or common areas. No microwave to heat water. These should be looked into as most customers frowned at that

Excellent hotel and great breakfast - try and go early to see the monkeys whilst you eat The gym and the pool is decent and it’s walking distance to Porto Barra where it’s popping at night. Great food there as well. Salvador is such a rich and diverse city with lots to experience and all within walking distance of you choose…..would recommend wish with hesitation. I accidentally lost the card with the names of the staff who were amazing so to all the check in staff - I rate you …. Friendly, approachable and helpful…….. sorry I could not mention your name but to the manager it’s all of them lol Thank you for making Salvador Bahia memorable and amazing Marvin and Mervyn

Great employees and service, but the amenities need upgrades!

Everything was perfectly good. Just one problem happened 3 times in breakfast. I asked for eggs fries every morning. Wait for it 25 minutes and never got them.

The air quality of the entire hotel was very poor and if we would have stayed longer than two nights I would have change the hotel.

I have just checked out of this incredible hotel and have already booked to stay here again in September, when I return to Salvador Bahia again. I did not see one insect inside the building. Cleaners were on duty right around the clock! All staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. Shout out to Erick (reception) and Thiago (waiter); I wish I could take them both home with me!!!

All of the windows in the hotel have moisture in between the glass, so most of the windows need to be replaced because you can't see anything through them, it makes the rooms dark and you can't see outside.

Close to historic old town and in a nice area. The hotel is an oasis in the busy city. Large lobby, lobby bar and an indoor, outdoor restaurant where a big breakfast is to be enjoyed. The staff is efficient and friendly. The room upgrade was very much appreciated. It is one of the reasons VIP access hotels are booked by us…what a fabulous perk along with the good discount.

This at best a 2-3 star hotel. Old and worn down. There is poor to no service at pool or the bar. Staff is not friendly

This was my first time in Brazil. Few staff speaks English ,however I was able to translate using my phone. The breakfast was excellent so was lunch and dinner . The room service and cleaning was great. Just would like to thank two special staff for their service Eric at reception 😍 you are a blessing to the organisation your willingness to listen and resolve concerns is outstanding . The staff at the pool Dunno Lol suthrasna.always available to prepare my favourite drink just how i like it .you guys have made my time within the hotel so amazingly good .

the pool was dirty,… the guests use the pool without shower before and the hotel ignore that,… the sink in the room was broken, too less light in the room,… we asked for room upgrade, they didnt sold ir motivated, so we did not upgrade. The breakfast us excellent,. The room cleaning super kind.

Check in experience was terrible. We arrived with our Pet and we were told to leave. The website says pets accepted. We then had the most rude room service staff that we have every day experienced in our life. The staff sent a Salad item incorrectly that need adjusting and instead of simply replacing harassed us in 3 phone calls that they want to charge for replacement. Then when arrived at door raised there voice and harassed more. Lastly, we had a do not disturb on the door and the staff could see we just arrived from the United States. We told them we don’t want anyone entering our room. They entered my our room and of course items were taken. There are some nice employees but the service is highly inconsistent. BEWARE!
