Great property! Beautifully decorated and well kept. The hotel is very centric and everything you want to see is within walking distance. The staff was extremely friendly, proactive and efficient. They will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

This is a boutique hotel … small and convenient. If you like big chain hotels this is not for you. If you like small and quiet hotels with character and old world charm with excellent staff and a first class location then this is a great choice.

Simply amazing

Beautifully appointed property with 5-star service. The staff, Nairo, Nelson, Edwin, & Stefanie were absolutely wonderful and were so helpful during our first time in Cartagena. The Spanish Colonial home was the highlight of our trip and a great way to always start and end our day. The dining suggestions from the staff were superb.

Amazing stay. People did everything in their power to make my stay more comfortable, including an early check in and late check out. Edwin, the concierge, was very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing beautiful clean property with the best stuff ever.

This is a boutique hotel in a great location in the old town of Cartagena. Hotel is new, in great condition, with a terrific staff. Only downside was while still in recovery from the pandemic, the restaurant and room service had limited hours. The complimentary breakfast was terrific.We look forward to being a future guest.

The hotel was perfect, location, service, cleanliness. Highly recommended. Very helpful with dinner reservations, calling cabs and pertinent information. The breakfasts were excellent.

Amazing staff and beautiful property.

Casa Don Sancho was beautiful, calm, and overall enhanced our stay in Cartegena. The room was clean and the AC was strong. The shower had great pressure. The food is great (I recommend the pina colada - it’s fresh, delicious, and HUGE!). The staff is friendly, respectful, recommended places to eat, and called us a cab when we headed out to the airport. The plants in the courtyard are lucious and only add to the magic of this stay. The pool in the courtyard was clean and the jacuzzi on the roof was clean and had great views of the city and even a view of the ocean. The location is on a quiet street near near the theatre and you’re steps away from the city walls. We easily walked around the old town from here. If you’re beat from the sun or walking around, I’d recommend the food here or walking over to the Epoca Espresso Bar - the La Artilleria location, because it’s less crowded, prettier inside, great coffee, brunch, and snacks, and like a 7 min walk away.

It is not often one finds a unique hotel like Casa Don Sancho. It felt like we went back in time when a welcoming service was a priority. From the moment you walk through the beautiful door, one feels in awe of the transformation to beauty and relaxation

We had the most incredible stay at Hotel Casa Don Sancho. The property is stunning and tranquil, and the staff go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and accommodated. We spent a lot of time wandering around the property, appreciating the Colonial-style decor and thoughtful details. My partner and I especially appreciated help with planning a day trip to the Islands and recommendations for places to eat in the area. We also loved the Hotel's breakfast, our insanely comfortable room, and the beautiful sunset view from the rooftop. Though it was just the two of us on this trip, I'd love to plan a future trip with a group that could rent out the entire Casa (which only has six or so rooms) for a special occasion in Cartagena.

Casa Don Sancho is a beautiful luxury Boutique Hotel, forniture are beutiful. Breackfast and lunch good. Really well located in the centre of Old Cartagena. Staff is absolutely helpfull and suggest excelent excursions and really good restaurants. I reccomend Casa Don Sancho to all travelers in particular for couples.

This hotel is truly exceptional. We have stayed in hotels in many different countries and have never had such memorable experience anywhere. The hotel is very attractive, designed with every detail in mind. The location is excellent, close to everything in the historical center of Cartagena. Everything is kept meticulously clean. What really puts this hotel above and beyond other hotels is the wonderful staff, always ready to help and concerned of all your needs. The quality of the food served in the hotel restaurant is superb. We had three delicious dinners in the hotel and we can highly recommend it. We felt very pampered staying at Don Sancho Mustique and hope to be able to come back soon.

We were treated like royalty from the time we arrived until we left. The staff is extremely helpful. There were lovely amenities and the building was truly special and historic. The beakfasts were delicious and filling. We had dinner at the hotel one evening, and it was magical. The chef, Andres, made a special dinner just for us. We had the best ceviche ever and a fabulous seafood risotto; there was an abundance of seafood in each dish. We ended the meal with a poached pear with ice cream. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
