Staff not so friendly and keys do not work well

Pros – Great location and nice staff. Comfortable bed and decent shower. Cons – Felt a bit run down and not very clean.

The view which is shown in the photos are not from the balcony, the balcony is to the crazy loud street, where also pigeons live on, so You can'T really enjoy it, plus there is not even one chair for the balcony.. The area was central and easy walkable, however it wasn't too easy to find the actual reception(no signs which floor). I found the apartment quite dark and not cosy at all, plus very noisy at all times. I was happy to leave and sad that it was so expensive for what it was.

The staff at the Palazzo Bruca were incredible! They were very accommodating for an earlier check in and to assist with securing me transport for a very early morning flight to Rome. The room was clean and comfortable. Access in felt safe after hours. The location was perfect in the town centre with easy access to all the historical sights and tour companies. Highly recommend!

The staff was very helpful and lovely, the room was clean and comfortable. The location was great, close to the Duomo area and lots of cafes. The only suggestion I have is for some towel bars or hooks. There were zero options to hang a damp towel, no bars, hooks, or racks. We hung them like a cape on a hanger in the armoire which wasn't ideal, but the only option.

tiny room, tiny shower that leaks to the floor like hell, internet was slow or non existing at times; terrible bed, terrible sheets and blankets, ac was not functional very well, the room was smelly, access to the hotel was through a smelly (piss) court yard. The room was smelly also... yuk... all around terrible... The only positive side is the staff. They were very nice and helpful..

fantastic experience in the middle off everything. The fish market is so close to the structure. We had a beautiful view from the balcony.

It’s a bit shabby. Inconvenient to get from one part to another. Breakfast is not on the property but 1/4 mile away near the Duomo, not good if it’s raining.

Lots of street noise but a great location.

It was in a perfect location. We were close to the beach, the old city and restaurants.

We stayed for 2 nights because of the airport. The hotel is in the center of Catania, it is clean good value for the money Did not have breakfast many restaurants and shopping around the hotel. the center is dirty and full of graffiti, we did get an upgrade to the second floor because they could not find our reservation (much bigger room) . This is more like and bed and breakfast.

Fantastic location and super helpful staff. If we do come back to Catania this is where we would book again.

We liked everything about our stay here. The location as there are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Transportation is steps away. The staff are friendly. Room was very clean. Price was reasonable. It was our 2nd time staying here within 6 weeks, when we come back to Catania we will stay here again.

I liked that it had its own private Courtyard and felt safe leaving my car there. The property's exterior was not maintained But that goes for all of Catania.

This place looks scary, nothing like what they show in pictures… as soon as we got there and saw the dirty and stinky place we left. dont waste your money and time.

Check-in was smooth. Walkable to everything we wanted to see. Our room has a nice balcony with beautiful view. Bed is comfortable. If you have a car, you can park inside the plaza with a gate, very safe. Only complaint is that hot water in the shower was barely warm. Otherwise great stay!

Good location, helpful staff and very clean and modern room.

The hotel is in a great, central location with secure gated parking. We were disappointed to note that our bathroom was not attached to our room and required us to walk out past another room to get to it - this is mentioned in the notes but difficult to find, so be aware if you are staying in the economy double. The amenities aren't exactly as described, far from being soundproof the rooms are in fact quite noisy and we could hear a lot from the room next door and outside. There also is not an iron, as advertised. Overall the room was clean and decent enough for the price, but it was disappointing that certain advertised features were not available.

We arrived early due to 6am flight. Upon arrival the receptionist/hostess was promptly on time at 8am to open the doors and let us in. She was extremely polite and we felt welcomed. Later that afternoon our room was ready. I was given a room w/ an amazing view of the church across the street. Room was big w/ vaulted ceilings and extremely clean. Out of all the places we stayed during our 13 days up and down the coast of Italy, Palazzo Bruca Catania was my favorite hands down. We definitely will talk about Bruca for years to come. Thank you! The property is located very close to the central square so it’s nice location. The apartment itself is nice and spacious and clean. However, for some reason we never had any housekeeping service after 3 nights. Even after we asked for the maids to clean our junior suite room.

BnB was fine. Staff was friendly. The main downside is that it was very noisy. You can hear all the noise from the street. Also, It's a shame they charge for arriving after 8pm (and this is not written in the description); They also charge extra for parking.

Not so good. The Bathroom was outside the room. A lot of noise from cleaning other rooms in the morning.
