The property staff and location was AMAZING! The view of the alps from my room was spectacular. This hotel very much catered to their guests. With two housekeeping visits, the last one being bed turn down and the details in amentities for guest was outstanding. I’ve stayed in several AMERON hotels throughout Europe and I think I will be now looking for Kempinski hotels in the area for now on!

We highly recommend the Kempinski Hotel and enjoyed our stay and staff. Excellent breakfast too, nice pool, walking paths, etc.

The stay was very comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast is very exquisite . The staff is very friendly and I joined some of the events organized like a jog in the morning. Give an opportunity to meet new people who have travelled to the Holzform all around the world. The scenery and the surrounding is amazing. The sauna was a disappointment- the steam room was just to big and the steam generator inside was insufficient . There are two saunas 50 and 90 degrees. The temperature controller system of 90 degree is just random . We went there 3 different times and the temp was always different. The water which you get to drink after stepping out from from the sauna is too warm . I would have thought it would be from cold and refreshing from some nearby spring . The resting area is underwhelming… We didn’t use the massage therapist so will not be able to comment . 10/10 for the luxury 4/10 for the wellness

Obersalzberg is a beautiful location with lots of WWII history. The hotel is first class and perfectly situated in the area. Our only disappointment was paying over 30 euros for a frozen hamburger with little taste. But the included breakfast was excellent.

Wonderful place, would come back any time! Extremely friendly personnel, gorgeous food, tasteful furnishing, couldn‘t have wished for more. Some minus points: no aroma essences in the sauna, parking fee not included, outside pool too small for amount of guests.

Good hotel!

Everything was perfect and I felt like a king. My only remark: It is not a problem that the staff parks my car but I find it inconvenient that I always have to ask them to bring it when I would like to use it. I would not mind having an option where I can park my own vehicle.

The most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Modern, detailed, and comfortable!

Staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a quiet location with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains & within easy reach of various hiking trails. Even the basic mountain view room was spacious and comfortable, and there were some great historical sites and tourist attractions close by when I felt like doing something other than lounging around on the beautiful grounds. I'm already planning my next visit. (Shout out to Jose and Antonio for the fun conversations and useful tips about the unmarked bunkers near the hotel!)

The location is perfect, staff is great, foods are amazing at this Hotel and it’s just 3 mins walk from the main station. View from the room is just breathtaking! Highly recommended!

Property away from cities very quite and beautiful

The Hotel is fantastic but is a little far from everything if you are not into wellness, spa, hiking etc

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The service rendered by the hotel staff, food and amenities are all worth your money spent per night. Hotel is also near (by car) the salt mine and eagle’s nest tourist attractions. Recommended hotel to stay and pamper yourself if you’re heading to Berchtesgaden, Germany.

The service has always been excellent at this truely 5 star hotel. But, even with that in mind, I think it has improved. Staff was - in some indefinable way - more attentive and friendly. Spacious, serene, historic, excellent views, polite staff - this hotel has it all.

We had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed all aspects of the hotel including golf and an e-bike tour.

Superb as always. This was our third stay. The hotel manages the Covid implications superbly well, including breakfast service. This is an extremely impressive hotel in all aspects.

In addition to the beautiful natural setting, this is simply a fantastic hotel...most relaxing place we’ve stayed! This staff is incredible - they really make guests feel welcome and comfortable. You want a room with a view? Try ANY room in this hotel - you’re surrounded by the Alps...there are no bad views! Wonderful hotel - we’ll be back.
