Church bell activated at a random times all the time. Room door in front of restaurant tables. To access your room need to walk through an open area so if it’s raining you get wet. People walking around the room all the time. Check out you have to wait until somebody checks the room if “everything is ok”

Very nice and quiet, everything it’s close enough to walk around.

The room was dirty, floors and especially the bathroom. The sink and shower were dirty. When we first arrived to the room, I saw something small crawling on the floors. I assume were bugs from the plants on the outside of the room. When I went to the bathroom, there was a roach with an egg in the shower. What I thought were insects crawling, were small roaches! It was after 12 midnight when we arrived back to the hotel, there was no one at the front desk at that time. I couldn’t sleep thinking they’ll crawl on the bed. I complained the following day and was told that it was exterminated three days ago. I won’t recommend this hotel to no one. Awful!!

The hotel is close to everything, The area is safe with a lot of restaurants and things to do. The hotel really need some maintenance. Front desk staff and housekeeping are excellent.

the location was good, But the room was not in good condition. No fan or air condition so it was very hot And too noise I cant go to sleep until late after 2am, I did not liked the staff . The bed was very uncomfortable to hard and smell bad the bed and pillows. . It was not parking near only 4 blocks far from hotel. ANs it was support to be the breakfast include and them they said no you have to pay one the other half of price TOOOO bad service.

This Hotel is close to the Central Park, and others places, Lupita she is friendly and the Lady it s a BBC Model. And Mila we love at the Cat.

The hotel is in a super centric location, the staff is very courteous, good food in the restaurant

Not good, tried to contact hotels.com but did not get help with virtual support.
No garden view, the only one window was for some light and ventilation opposite of the courtyard. The beds and sheets really unacceptable, cardboard bed and thin dingy sheets. Hotel needs to warn guest the convent bells go off all day long 24 hours a day, makes it hard to have a good night sleep. Location is all they have to brag about. Mediocre food and employees. Since I paid in advance we had to stay the entire time but really wanted to change hotels. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned out to be the opposite. Please at least there should be a warning about the bells waking people up every hour and at times just random 24 hours a day.

I really liked the location and the room size. I didn’t like that they didn’t clearly state that you shouldn’t drink the tap water . Once I asked about this they directed me down the hall to a water fountain and paper cups, no bottled water in the room or glasses so you could fill up at the fountain and bring it to your room. Also, there was no coffee maker in the room, which is fine but I’d hoped that there was a place to get yourself a cup of coffee 24/7. Instead you had to go to the restaurant the but only restaurant hours to order a coffee.

Great location, right in the middle of everything, including the famous arch. Nice room, clean. Only 2 things I did not like: small bed, and thin walls where I could hear other guests conversations.

What I loved was the location! Everything is nearby! What I didn’t like was; beds were hard, bathroom was so small and No AC ! We got a fan from the staff but it was so noisy!! Also be careful with bugs ! There was a huge spider on my shoe.

Beautiful place the view, oh my god Nice!
Unfortunately On one of the beds I saw woodworm , but we were so tired, and we move together to the other bed. I believe the sound of the chime clock I heard the whole night every 15 minutes and every hour, which is good for some people.

This was a horrible stay. This was not a deluxe room, it had no AC, the pictures look nothing like it. It ruined our stay! Horrible will never recommend this expensive run down spot!

The hotel is right in the middle of the action in Antigua, next to the landmark arch - The rooms are around a large patio, which had music and a lot of other noise until late, so it certainly isn’t a place to where you can go back to your room and relax in the evening, but it’s a great location if you want to be in the middle of everything in Antigua - If you are looking for a hotel with peace and quiet at night, best to look elsewhere

I love the traditional colonial look of this hotel. The courtyard was amazing. The restaurant was romantic and I’m told they often have live music. Wonderful stay.

For an old hotel you don’t expect air conditioning ,level walking areas . It is very charming and the restaurant is actually fantastic. it’s convenient to everything but being under the arch you get harassed by sellers of souvenirs
