Perfect for a one night stay. Room was very warm and no air con or fan, but the windows opened wide so it was ok. Room very big for a single. Dog friendly.
Breakfast was great. Would happily stay again.
Be aware there is no lift.

It's a pretty nice place. Breakfast was basic but good. Staff was pretty friendly and some of them spoke English. Nothing fancy about the rooms we rented, they were singles, but some had balconies. Best part was the area.

This property was beautiful and had great views. We really enjoyed staying here however the one thing we wish we would’ve known before booking was that our room didn’t have a shower like shown in the property’s pictures. Our room had a bathtub with a shower hose but you couldn’t shower as there was no curtains or doors.

Stayed there three nights. Old facility, but quaint and well-kept. Breakfast was tops! Restaurant was decent and convenient. Bus stop to Salzburg was about a block away. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

This is beautifully located in a Grossgmain. The scenery around the hotel is amazing and it is very close to the bus stop. My husband and I enjoyed running around to explore the town.

Liked: Breakfast was great with a variety of food. The garden was pretty.
Didn't like: The hotel is much older than it appears to be online, it could use a renovation or at least changing the photos online. The room I received was dirty - I had 2 long pubic hairs in the shower, a stained pillow case and a few spider webs. Additionally, there's a church right in front of the room which rings every 15 minutes, and at 7 am it rings for at least 3 minutes.

The stay was OK, but not great. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The food was pretty good too. However, the beds were stiff and uncomfortable. And they made a LOT of noise while moving about, enough to wake up my partner just to find a comfortable position. There was no shower head attached high enough so, we had to use the manual shower head with one hand while bathing with the other one. Very inconvenient. Then finally, the cleaning lady came into our room completely unnanounced, without first knocking or checking if there was anyone inside first. Very awkward.

We really loved staying at this spot! It's literally right by the border, and it's a great location if you're going to the Konigsee area - just a beautiful 20 min drive away! It's also quite close to Salzburg.
The hotel itself was awesome. Pretty modern, amazing breakfast with lots of fresh food, and a great outdoor space.
The hotel even helped us out with room service. We'd totally stay here again!

The hotel is located next to the border, the location is good, although quite noisy. It is located right next to a church and the main road. The windows are not thick enough to sustain the noise from outside.
The hotel itself is nice but relatively old. The room was small.

Location is perfect, only 20 minutes drive from Salzburg and you enjoy the exceptional beauty of the Austrian Alps. Parking is easy, restaurant has variety of local dishes and wahtever we had, we enjoyed them all. Kids friendly place with spacious room.

Amazing little hotel! Very clean, excellent breakfast, quiet little town. We loved everything about our stay! The only thing is we happened to be there when they had a heat wave, so a fan in the room would have been nice. We will definitely come back!!

I booked two rooms. When arriving I requested a quite room. They changed my room at check-in to a room over the garden (where everyone congregates for dinner and drinks) but the room my traveling companions received was on floor directly across from church and the bells rang every 15 minutes starting at 7:00am through10:00pm. Please be aware!

Great view from our room. Small town so not much to do but a great location as a home base for Eagles Nest, Salzburg, etc. Room was large (3 adults) and had a twin sleep sofa and a double twin together. Modern bathroom. The on-site restaurant had a great selection of German and Austrian dishes. Food was fresh and delicious. Included breakfast offered a good selection of breads, pretzels, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, yogurt juices and coffee ( espresso, cappuccino, etc.). Would definitely stay her again.

This was a great hotel. The room was spacious, modern, clean and had great views from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious with many choices. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was great and the prices were reasonable. The only drawback was the very loud church bells across the street starting at 7 a.m. You may want to keep the windows closed.

The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful setting with hundreds years old buildings as well as an old church and spectacular mountain peaks. The food at the hotel restaurant is excellent for both breakfast and dinner. We would have enjoyed staying here for more than two nights, but had to head to our next destination - Vienna.

Great little place just outside Salzburg. It took us roughly 15 minutes driving (own car) to get to downtown Salzburg, but the location is great and secluded.
We had our 8 month old with us, and had given prior notice, so they set us up with a crip and everything before we arrived. Overall service was nice and the restaurant staff was AWESOME. For my wife's birthday they had dinner arranged, with wine and cake. I had only asked that they make it special, and they did the rest.

Easy to find, beautiful location. Fresh produce sold in the parking lot was a nice surprise. Rooms were comfortable and well kept.
