It was an excellent stay. Would certainly recommend and will prefer to stay here again when we visit.

I have stayed here multiple times and this resort never disappoints. Rooms are spacious and clean and the water views can't be beat. I have no desire to stay anywhere else.

This stay is top notch! The rooms are beautifully decorated and there is everything you need inside the room, except there is no microwave. The balcony overlooking the water is spectacular, the pool is pristine, and there is dining and shopping steps away. We will always stay at Capt. Thomson's when we visit the Bay! Highly recommended!

It never disappoints. We always stay here each year and enjoy being able to walk everywhere and also being right on the water, is so beautiful!

The room was very nice. 2 queen beds. Dresser with mini fridge hidden inside. Extra pillows and blankets in dresser drawers. Nice comfortable beds. Had a room on the first floor. Easy walking distance to the street of shops and restaurants. The pillows were not great nor was the pool. The pool we were told was heated. It was not. Very cold as many people noticed. The pillows when you put your head on them shrink to about 2 inches thick. The balcony has a table and 2, chairs. The room has a desk with a chair. Another chair to sit in was in the corner. No microwave but it did list the room amneties on the site. Which did not include a microwave. But I guess I was hoping they would of had one. Not much room to sit or be comfortable with 2 people. We laid on our beds to watch TV. All in all it was a nice room for my son and myself.

Great stay! Floor was not real clean!

We had a great time, Alex Bay is awesome with many shops to go through . We went on the Uncle Sam boat and stopped at Boldt Castle which was great.

Very clean, well maintained rooms, nice balcony setup, we had coffee there every AM. Great proximity to tour boats, restaurants, shops, etc. Friendly locals, inviting atmosphere. A few rude, disrespectful guests but that seems to happen everywhere now.

Staff was super friendly and called us to say our room was ready early if we wanted to check in early!

Great place and convenient location.

Main channel rooms have the best view of the river and Bolt Castle. These are probably the best accommodations you will find in Alex Bay. Close to restaurants and shopping. Here it is all about the River!

It's in a great location, a short walk to everything you would want, and not too far a drive from a Price Chopper if you want groceries. It was fantastic to have a balcony right over the water. The room was very clean and the staff was nice! The only downsides were the wifi wasn't great, the extra door lock in the room I had wouldn't lock while the door was shut tight - you essentially had to slightly open the door handle lock for the deadbolt to be locked because it didn't line up perfectly. I also wish there was a microwave in the room, since there's a fridge. My other minor issue was that, although I wasn't planning on stealing any pool towels, I didn't like that it said I had a set number of pool towels in my room that I had to use and if any weren't accounted for I'd be charged. It felt too threatening. Overall though, a great property I would definitely stay at again.

The property location is beautifully set on the St. Lawrence and though I had an issue with another guest the first night the property manager handled it professionally and promptly. I would definitely recommend this establishment it is comfortable & well maintained. The staff are courteous and friendly.

A lovely view close to the boat rides and restaurants. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Would recommend to anyone.

Best location in Alexandria bay.

We did not like the view from our original room (big boat docked outside our balcony). Asked for a change and they accommodated at no rxtra charge. Very grateful for that. Would stay there again for sure ...

This is by far my favorite place to stay while in the Alexandria Bay Area. The rooms are absolutely adorable, the beds are comfortable, the views are amazing, staff is always friendly and helpful, parking is a breeze and everything is walkable around the area. Try and get the river view over the harbor but both are great. Very very motorcycle friendly as well!

Both my and my friend's rooms were full of mosquitoes. There is a sign posted on the doors to the balconies saying, if you open the door, you will let the bugs in. Neither one of us opened the doors. In fact, we got there very late, after the office had closed, and both of our rooms were infested with mosquitoes. They were all over the beds, the walls, the ceilings, the towels, and the furniture. We were stuck with the rooms because we had checked in after hours, so we could not ask for different rooms. Also, I have to believe that all the rooms had mosquitoes in them. Why would just our two rooms be the exception? Also, there was a used Q-tip on the floor in my bathroom.

Loved being right on the waterfront of the St. Lawrence River and in touring the thousand islands.

Loved being next to the Boat Tours as well as the private dock with lounger chairs. The pool was closed for repairs but theres plenty to do in walking distance to offset this. This is our 2nd time staying here but we will continue to come back. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, 10/10 would recommend. You can't beat their location.

Everything was awesome, the staff is remarkable and very friendly. The house keeping service was outstanding. I will most certainly be staying there again. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The view was amazing, doesn't get any better. If you stay in a room with a channel view, you can see Boldt Castle out your window or while sitting on your balcony. Highly recommend!
