The property was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

Was given an “upgrade” to a 2 bedroom apartment but was told if we used the second bedroom we would be charged extra? Sort of defeats the purpose of the upgrade I think?

Great stay, comfortable two bedroom apartment in a very central location. Lovely balcony with amazing view. There is demolition work nearby, which only happens during the day, so it didn’t bother us (you might want to avoid the city side if you need quiet during the day).

Staff very friendly and helpful. Out room had a nice feel.

4th floor apartment, was fine, decent area, very loud all night couldn't get to sleep. Hard bed

At check in was given an upgrade to an 2 bedroom appt at no extra cost only to have 2nd bedroom locked 20mins later no piont of an upgrade Had to evauate walk down 20flights of stairs and stand in the cold for 30mins and no staff letting us know what was happening or saying sorry wouldn't stay at this place again

Great property to stay right on the doorstep of the city. Nice sized rooms and view good.

We booked the one bedroom apartment and we’re pleased when we arrived. It was the perfect size with a large balcony. However we soon found that the air-conditioning was not working and we were absolutely freezing. Maintenance was called and they were unable to fix it. The maintenance person told us that reception would call & we would be moved to another room. After waiting about two hours, we called reception and were told to just bring all of our luggage downstairs and they would give us a new room number. We then transferred to a new room. This was also a one bedroom apartment but was not as nice as there was only a tiny balcony. But at least the heater worked…. Or we thought. Within a couple of hours that heater also stopped working. We called reception once again and they came and looked at the air conditioning and confirmed that it was broken. We were told that a portable heater would be brought up. Again we waited to be contacted regarding the portable heater. No one came. We called reception to remind them and a tiny personal heater was brought to our room.

Generally very good but only one lift working.

Great to find an such a well-priced apartment in the centre of Melbourne

We recently spent 3 nights at Oaks and had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect, right in the heart of city center, making it was to explore and access all the local attractions. Our apartment was at 35th floor, which offered breathtaking view of city. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was also exceptional, with great communication throughout our stay. They were helpful. We request them an early check-in because of our flight, and they made it possible for us. Overall, we were impressed and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great spot that’s central and comfortable

The blanket had blood spots (menstruation) all of the places and housekeeping refuses to bring new ones with all excuses. When I mentioned I will make a complaint then she said do whatever. They finally replaced the new one but still have blood spots (not that many). When I requested to refund one night accommodation it was refused by saying as long as the housekeeping washed the blanket the blood spot is normal. I requested the hotel manager to inspect the blanket in the room but she refused. The kids were impacted and not able to sleep. It causes lots of frustration. I do not want to upload the photo to make people feel uncomfortable but I always have this evidence to protect myself. I would not recommend to stay there anymore.

Carpet was filthy with fresh stains - no attempt to clean. Wayfinding in this place is as bad as I have seen in a hotel, little of it and impossible to read - terrible.

Overall, i thought this was a great hotel. Everything was great as were the staff. My only complaint was that the a/c was really noisy.

Location perfect, internet poor, maintenance/ cleanliness below average, room in general good (design of the building seems a bit amateurish, specially bathroom and kitchen seem illogical and not exactly functional)

Suites are a good size and clean. Location is great as it’s close to transport and great restaurants.

The cost of the stay was excessive given the style of the accommodation and the offerings. I will not be staying here again and I will not recommend to others.

Oaks on Southbank is in a great location, close to everything the city has to offer. We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom room, we found it to be spacious enough for the four of us. The only issue we had was there was no coffee in the room. Overall I would definitely recommend
