An absolutely fantastic hotel, great facilites and we loved the crazy aesthetic. Friendly staff and great location. However, breakfast was always busy and it was difficult to het a seat.

This hotel has bigger room than expected. It has a very roomy living room with a good size dining table, which makes the stay very comfortable. It even has a refrigerator. On the other hand, it does not have a cup that would hold hot water, which makes it impossible to use the hot water pot and coffee maker.

The room was really small, and there was very litlle table room, so we had to keep our stuff on the floor. There was also no chair where we could have kept our luggage, so we had keep that also on the floor. Everything else was fine.

Friendly staff. Clean. Great buffet breakfast with plenty of options. Not too far from the city centre.

Basic room- clean- no coffee/ tea in room, no air conditioning. Breakfast very good with several options to meet any needs.

Our 3 day stay here was most enjoyable. When we booked the stay initially it was a case of taking what hotels were available as the Bruce Springsteen concert seemed to have decreased availability and increased prices. Saying rhat we had a perfectly setviceable room, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast in the morning was appreciated. The only negatives were the black out blinds were pretty ineffective and with sunrise not longer after 4am it wasnt great amd the hotel was a little out of the city centre but once we got the tram system sorted out it wasnt an issue. Overall a good stay and we recommend staying there.

Great views, clean room, quick and friendly check in/out, quiet but still close enough to city center using the tram stop walking distance away.

It's a good hotel with helpful staff, but parking is paid, and public transportation is a bit of a walk.

The staff seemed pretty welcoming and kind the entire time. The room was good for the price ask, and I was able to sleep pretty comfortably without any real interruptions. The location is decent. It is just a couple light rail stops from Bergen Sentrum (city center), so you won't have to worry about any major distance disparity when it comes to getting close to all the main attractions of the city. This place just seems good for all sort of travelers and a great fit for solos who want to just have genuine alone time.

Nothing wrong in general with the hotel or its services. however the bed near the window was very uncomfortable. An the elevators are slow. Very quiet area. Breakfast good. A little distance from the city center, not a minus in my book.

amazing hotel, great service, very clean, nice decoration, good TV and nice views from the rooftop. Breakfast a bit weak but very yummy. Close to public transport station and not far to city center by foot. Very convenient and comfortable. Thanks for making my Bergen stay amazing.

This hotel is convenient for public transport. Room was clean, plenty of hot water and an included breakfast to boot. We felt that the room and shower were a tad on the small side but OK nevertheless. Recommended.

Went for one night to Bergen and this hotel was way more affordable than the ones in the city center. You can easily get there by light rail (tram). Only 5 stops and a 5-7 minute walk. The rooms are a bit small but that was expected. The bathroom was kinda small too but sufficient. Like most hotels in Norway you are lucky to find one English TV channel. In this case BBC News, which is better than Sky News at my Stavanger hotel. They were supposed to have Chromecast but my phone could not find anything to connect to. The restaurant on the fifth floor had a decent selection for dinner which was nice as it was raining and I had been walking all afternoon. Breakfast buffet was included and had a good selection. There are two grocery/convenience stores downstairs, least one of them open daily until 23:00.

Hotel has all the funky decor but it's not functional for the travelers. Lighting is poor, unable to control temperature. Sink in bathroom is tiny, shower barely big enough and the water leaks all over the floor. No electrical outlets to charge phones. Minimal amount of space to put belongings. All funky switches did not work well. The only good thing was comfortable bed and sufficient breakfast.

Good value hotel for bergen, good breakfast. First couple of days were excellent but third day large tour group arrived and the restaurant was wayyy overcrowded at dinner and breakfast. If you get it on a quiet day its perfection... if there is a tour its hard to find a seat! Nice touch is free to use laundry room. Have to pay around gbp 10 per night to use the parking.

Nice comfortable room, friendly staff, good breakfast, well located for the harbour and historic area. The lift needed fixing.

Lack of sockets for laptops etc

Difficult to figure out the light for the room and it seemed like there wasn’t much. Otherwise ok room and good breakfast.

This was a beautifully designed hotel yet also a bit too quirky for me (I was a bit taken aback by the room and hallway). The front desk clerk was very nice and made every attempt to communicate with me in English (very grateful for that). It was incredibly convenient to my friend’s house and the store nearby had enough food and drink options to satisfy my needs. All in all, it was a pretty great experience.

Reception staff were excellent. Close to light rail for easy access to airport and City.

My room was dirty, dust was all over the shelves and the seats, the chair didnt fit under the desk so was not useable, the lights at the bed didnt work and the main lights could only be switched off by the door not the bed and the room wasnt even cleaned some days. The breakfast was horrendous and geared towards tour busses, rice and peas and boiled carrots for breakfast every day?? Very small breakfast area and they bring bus loads of tourists in making it difficult to get to the food. I wont stay here again.

I am afraid the design on carpets and walls made me dizzy.

Somewhat odd choice of furniture and room shape, very assymetrical, that can be a bit troublesome in the dark. A bigger problem was the half-eaten and probably more than a day old apple we found lodged between the mattrasses.
