The staff was great except they continued to say the shower water was warm, it was very cold. The location was farther from the town of Holbox than it looked on maps or was explained on websites. It is a great area to walk to beach but again a little farther out. I would stay here again in the summer when the coll (cold) water would not be a factor.

Quaint beachfront hotel. Very comfortable beds, HUGE shower, and located right on the beach. It is always from town, but exactly what we wanted.

We had a great 2 night stay. About 15 minute walk into town. The room was very clean and modern. The plumbing issues were addressed right away. Good price for this cute boutique!

I booked the suite. It had a beautiful view but I probably would’ve liked the standard room better and saved some money! I don’t think the suite was worth the price. The rooftop pool was really nice. And they played music in the afternoon and throughout the day. It’s about a 25 minute walk down the beach to get to the downtown area where everything is at.

I really enjoyed my stay at Spirit. Jose Sanchez at the reception desk was super friendly and helpful. The girl that works there was also wonderful! All of the staff were very attentive and always cleaning. I would stay here again.

This is an overpriced hotel, rooms are to small, also the social areas, the hotel is far from the downtown you have to take a taxi to go to the touristic parts. They don’t have a cancellation policy also they are not beachfront, they have a few beach beds and that’s all.

The price of this hotel is FAR FAR above its standings… this is not a luxury hotel. Plenty of better hotels for the same price around the island

We had a fabulous second stay at Spirit Holbox. Our oom was kept super clean. We enjoyed breakfasts and beautiful sunsets each day on the rooftop deck. And we enjoyed spectacular 360 degree water views from upper rooftop deck. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the times we locked ourselves out of the room on our balcony. A great stay, we hope to come again!

The hotel room, property, and staff was amazing! The only thing I was a little dissapointed about was the restaurant at the top. The alcoholic drinks tasted like water. The complementary breakfast was ok, generous portions, but the food had no taste. We did have other lunch/dinner items that were better. The location was great but a little far to be walking back and forth so be ready to take the taxis to/from hotel. Its also too dark around the property or area ar night, so take taxis. Overall, I would come back here.

Were treated awful by the staff. Very poor management. We did not feel like guest, it was as if it was reversed.

The place is very rustic but perfect. A waiter was kind it rude. Probably because of lack of training. I ask for a colder beer & he told me that all beer were in the same fridge...

Standard room is small. No TV or fridge but with such views you don't really need a TV. Besides that it was a really neat compact room with the major necessities. The food at the restaurant is good but a little pricier compared to everyone else

The stay was okay. Perhaps I had a whole different idea about Holbox overal, but way far out place and also I wish the hotel was closer to the dowtown area. Some rooms are better maintained than others (we stayed in 2 different ones). This is one of those than looks way better in the pictures. Service was nice, food menu very limited and not impresive at all, best to go food. Very unhappy this hotel hat a non cancellation policy... we need it to make a small modification and tok us a couple weeks before the trip to get it sort it out.

We had a flight delay at no fault of ours and were unable To contact the hotel at the various numbers and emails provided. They didn’t seem to care much about our well being.

Amazing view in a very nice part of town. Only bad thing, small food menu in the restaurant, they open 8am-11am then. 2pm-8pm. No hot water in our room.

Roof top is great place to watch the sunset. Beautiful place. There are a lot of mosquitos near the pools

This is a great property, from the interesting construction to the wonderful staff. While it's located a bit far from town, its rooftop restaurant / bar / terrace provides one of the best places to view the sunset. I'd like to give special thanks to Napoleon, Luis, Alberto & Leo. You all made our stay there so enjoyable. I hope to return someday soon!

Staff is very accommodating and we enjoyed our stay. I do wish the continental breakfast would start earlier than 8:00am. Two of our four mornings we had to leave before breakfast was served due to boat trips.

The price was right for me. I spent 3 weeks traveling in the region and was on a budget so, I felt it was reasonable that concessions needed to be made. I stayed in 2 diff rooms at Spirit. Room 1 despite not having a view of the ocean was far superior to the master suite. The ac and shower in room 1 worked really well which it did not in the master suite. The master suite also catches all of the sound coming from the upstairs restaurant and pool. The pools were okay but not well maintained. The beach was gorgeous and off the beaten path (that's why I was there) however, the hotel provided little shade on the beach or by the pools. The folks at reception were helpful in answering questions. I preferred eating in town as opposed to the restaurant on site. If you're on a budget and not planning to do much more than crash at the hotel, eat a simple breakfast and chill in the hammocks to watch the sunset this could be your place. I should mention that the hotel is only a year old so, growing pains are to be expected.

Lovely hotel on a quieter stretch of beach. Only a short walk to Centro, so perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beach! Would deifinitely stay here again!
