It was a nice quiet area still very close to stores and restaurants. The property manager was very nice and responded quickly to emails. Would highly recommend

Great place. It was clean and quiet location. There were games and puzzles available. Beautiful wildlife around, a lot of deer in the area. Only negatives are the driveway os super steepand getting out was a little challenging, we spun some gravel a bit because of the incline. There was also an issue with the washer that made it unusable because a part was on order.

We loved looking out of windows at night and watching the deer and lightning bugs hanging around in the yard. Our kids loved the beds upstairs in the 2nd floor area, which was where the kids insisted on spending all their time when resting for the night. The property was as advertised and it was quaint and homey. We had a pleasant experience and would stay here again. All drives around the area were scenic as well.

Nice cozy place down a long winding road. We had a comfortable wonderful relaxing stay at this place. We didn’t use all the available amenities with our days packed full of activities. It was a great place to end and start our days. Plenty of room for the family. Was like coming home, instead of checking in at a hotel. I caught my oldest sleep walking at night. She made it down the stairs from the bedroom above and through the doors to use the restroom and back to bed. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely come here again. Kids weren’t sure about me driving down the driveway, I probably wouldn’t recommend doing so without 4x4. There is a place to park near the stairs leading up to the road.

This was a great location for visiting the Ark Encounter. Perfect size for our family of 4, giving each teen kid their own space. We’re used to one bathroom so that wasn’t a deal breaker, but it’s rather on the small side.
We appreciated the text a couple hours before check in giving our access code, providing us with a point of contact for our stay.

I cannot say enough about this property. The house is very well kept and fully stocked with anything that you may need during your stay example shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, toilet paper.
All four beds are very comfortable and they provided extra pillows. The upstairs area is perfect for kids to have their own space but yet large enough for parents to hang out. The view is amazing overlooking the lake. Of course we stayed during the winter so there’s no leaves on the tree obstructing the view. We will definitely book again with holland lakeside!

Very spacious, clean and welcoming! Lovely secluded private lot! Our kids LOVED the big bedroom upstairs. House has everything you need on-site. Lots of towels and well stocked kitchen. The bedding was soft and lovely.
A few down sides; no dishwasher, 1 bathroom, only 1 small mirror, only 1 TV and extremely steep driveway. However, the affordable price reflects these challenges.
I would definitely book if you plan on visiting the Ark Encounter! A great place to relax and cook your own meals. Just bring some paper plates to help with the dishes.

My family and I stayed here while we visited the Ark Encounter. It was such a great place to stay with kids! Having space for them to run around outside was really nice. The kitchen is stocked with all of the cooking utensils you could need and the grill and picnic table are a fun place for a family meal. We really enjoyed staying here!

The Ark Encounter was truly wonderful and staying at this house with comfortable beds, nice patio, a loft for quite time and devotions, and a nice tiny bathroom and kitchen, plus washer and dryer was a win win situation for us and affordable cost.

This is a nicely renovated, clean home surrounded by nature. The patio is perfect for meals outside while watching the deer walk through. The home is close to The Ark and amenities. The property manager is kind and quick to respond.

I brought my wife and kids to Kentucky from Florida to go to the Ark. we camped along the way up so it was so nice to stop here to be able to access a kitchen and washer and dryer to refresh us while we stayed at the Ark. The area is rural and beautiful in May. It is an older renovated house. Some uneven floors but that’s okay with us that the house has character. We would stay here again.

The property manager was very kind to give us a heads-up of the snowy and cold weather they had had before our arrival so that we could safely enter the road and property. We had great communication with Gina. The property was exactly as described and just what we needed for our visit. It has a nice lake cabin feel, no frills, but clean and what a view to the lake!! We would definitely return to this property when in the area.

My husband and I stayed here with our two granddaughters because it was close to the Ark Encounter. Cute little place. Quiet area. Would suggest to definitely bring food, even if it is for a short trip because we did not find anyone that delivered. Would stay here again

The house was clean and had good supplies. There were some issues however. The bathroom is too small, driveway is too steep and no handrail coming down the steps from upstairs bedroom. We did have a wonderful stay but mentioned the problems so you might address them for future tenants.

The house was a typical lake house, clean and perfect for our stay. It’s in a hilly lake side neighborhood so expect the hills to get to the property. Manager was quick to respond to any questions. We would stay again.
