The sandman hotel is a newer more modern place to stay beautiful sweets nice rooms pool hot tub Denny’s it’s the perfect place to stay for business travel or just a little family getaway

Not impressed since I wasn't aware of the hot water situation. It would have been nice to be notified that there would be no hot water from wednesday night to thursday 5 p.m. upon arrival! As well, for the duration of our stay, there was no kleenex box. Asked at front desk for 2 nights in a row. The response I received was, "housekeeping has to order it".
No manager on top of inventory???
I paid good monday for a well run hotel expecting great customer service.
Otherwise, the room was clean, lighting on the darker side, but overall, comfortable.

We usually stay here however the room 537 we got was very well outdated, the normal amenities such as water bottles or cups for the coffee machine were not provided. the remote was nowhere to be seen and overall did not enjoy the stay like we usually do

It was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t have any expectations going in, but really enjoyed our stay. The convenience of two restaurants attached to the hotel and the location made it well worth the trip.

Found food on the floor behind door. The a/c and heater was not working a lot of water damage in the bathroom wall beside shower
I have stayed at the sandman about 8 times now and the service as always been great

I had to take hair out of our shower drain before I would take a shower. And, then the water was cold. I called down to the front desk twice. The second time they said maintenance just got there and they would talk to them about it. They called back and said maintenance turned the water temperature up and it would take 20 minutes for it to start to get warm. It actually took almost a half an hour. We were crushed for time to begin with and then to have to wait almost a half an hour for warm water to take a shower is ridiculous. It was not cheap to stay at the Sandman and then to have something like that happen is not acceptable. I have never had that experience before with any hotel. (And, I will stress that the water was freezing cold).

I booked 4 hotels for a tournament. I wanted to pay for all 4 rooms on my debit visa however the hotel only takes major credits. They told me to come back on check out (which i did), however they would not take any other payment other than major credit card. For a major hotel chain, it is concerning that the ability to pay anything other than credit does not exist.
In addition, when I booked, the information said we receive complimentary breakfast for one person for each room, none of me rooms recrivrd voucher at checkin...clearly fasle advertising.
Lastly, there were a number of hockey team running the halls. You could everything in the room as if they running inside it.

Lovely hotel with 2 restaurants attached to it. Only complaint is that my room overlooked the highway so not much of a view.

I was rather disappointed that there was no guest laundry. There were no soda machines on site either. I originally got a room in hopes to get my laundry done.

Did not have the best experience at the restaurant Denny's beside them that we were given coupons for breakfast but that is not the hotels fault!

The floor in the hallway and our room were very dirty. There were holes in the wall in our room and toothpaste splatters all over the wall in our bathroom. The sheets seemed clean enough and we just needed the room to sleep for a few hours on a road trip but absolutely would not book here again.

Great hotel. Was upgraded to one of the suites for free upon check in. Room was very clean. Everything in good working order. Comfortable bed and pillows. Parking lot gets pretty full at night but even with a 2500 pick up we managed to find a spot. Would definitely stay again

Hotel was clean, front desk staff were friendly and courteous in addition to accommodating. My only concern was initially I had a room facing the highway, which was disruptive to my sleep. The staff relocated me to a parking lot side room, which was quiet.

Staff is amazingly helpful & pleasant. Able to check in early both times I’ve stayed here. Fitness center has free weights, weight benches and treadmills. Walking distance is a Walmart & 2 restaurants. Right off the QEW & very affordable

We stayed at tae Sandman Hamilton for the past 9 weeks because our house had a sewer back up issue. The staff was great, coffee was good and they were great with us having our pets with us. Thank you to everyone.
