It felt like staying with old friends

Omggggg I had the BEST SOLO TRIP . As a young African American that can be very scary. However no one was going to stop my vacation. This beautiful hotel picked me up , purchased me a cake, went to the pharmacy for me when I was cramping terribly, they went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe at all times. I felt like family there . I met John, Marcus, and Luis omg the best hosts ever! My biggest thing was it looked like a mini forest in the hotel with lizards and the biggest cutest turtle ! I have a video I’m uploading to TikTok this week look out for it ! If you’re considering here please don’t hesitate! I’m planning my second visit while I’m in the airport .

This was a perfect stay. Beautiful facility, amazing location, extremely helpful and hospitable owners and staff. Truly right in the heart of Getsemani - everything is in walking distance. Will absolutely rebook on my next visit

This is a unique property in the buzzy Getsemani area. Every room is different but I booked Up in the Sky with a small private roof terrace and private jacuzzi. Wonderful space to relax after a hot and humid day in Cartagena. Breakfast is freshly prepared to order. All staff are very friendly and helpful and Marcus the owner was great at communicating before and during my stay. There are loads of nice bars and restaurants almost on the door step and it is a 15 minute walk to the Clock tower and old town or the dock for boat trips to the islands. They even kept my bag for two nights while I visited Isla Palma. A one of a kind property that I would happily return to.

We loved it! Perfect location so we could walk all over the ciudad Antigua, excellent restaurants, etc. breakfasts were delicious! There is charm everywhere and everyone was super helpful and nice. We would definitely recommend this. Just a slight problem was musty smell in our room because there is no outside window, but they did have a dehumidifier which really helped. And air conditioning of course. Just wonderful little hotel.

Located in the picturesque Calle de las chancletas in the Getsemani neighborhood in Cartagena, Les Lezard B&B is an absolutely beautiful place. It is a little oasis and respite from the buzzling city of Cartagena. Just like in the reviews posted by so many people, Marcus, the owner contacted me right away after booking to make sure he was there to welcome me upon my arrival. He allowed me to check in early and his son Francois made sure that I had a healthy and fresh breakfast. Added to this first introduction was the appearance by one of the pet tortoises that lives in their lush garden. I stayed in the Africa room which looked exactly like the pictures. My favorite part of the room was the spa-like shower that gives a sense of relaxation. The only thing missing was a little more light as it is a bit too dark. I also enjoyed the upstairs jacuzzi/ sunroom area. It was so calming. Francois made sure to help me book trips to get to know the city. He also made many recommendations for restaurants and places to walk to experience the Centro Historico. I only stayed two days but I wish I could have stayed longer. During my last morning there, the resident cat said goodbye and Francois helped me obtain transportation to the airport. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to stay at Les Lezards. They will treat you like family. I hope to be able to return some time soon to enjoy this property again.

Wonderful place in the middle of Getsemaní without the noise and the craziness of the streets. The rooms are unique and beautiful, the house is full of details. The whole hotel is a jewel and a quiet space in the middle of busy getsamani. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Thank you for the excellent service.

This is such a wonderful B&B experience in Cartagena! The building itself is beautiful and is surrounded by lots of beautiful plants. The staff are all very nice and friendly and go out of their way to help you, especially Román! Our room was perfect and had AC and hot water which was a plus! If I ever come back to Cartagena, I would without a doubt stay here again!

Unique rooms and public spaces. Great location. Friendly and helpful people.

Very comfy and clean. Love the area, very convenient location. Room was quite small, TV size is perfect! Breakfast were delicious. Just be aware if you need fresh towels and changing of bedding you need to let them know otherwise they will NOT change them for clean linens. All in all a great place

Had a wonderful and amazing time staying in Les Lezard during our short stay in Cartagena. Marcus and Luis have been amazing hosts through out the whole time. The B&B had all the things you needed in a cozy setting. The place is near coffee shops and and restaurants-and it’s only 12-15 min away from the walled city. I highly recommend this place if you want a place that is safe, has a great location and will make you feel welcome-this is the place to be. shout out to Marcus and Luis for making our short stay memorable in Cartagena. will gladly stay there again in the future

Amazing location, right in the heart of Cartagena. Amazing decor with lots of plants around the multiple terraces. Breakfast was delicious! Staff were really helpful and catered to all our needs.

A nice, kind of quirky spot, good for walking to interesting areas. We had the largest room, the Africa suite, with charming decor items, it felt very homey. Loved the pet tortoise that was in the small courtyard. But the room was overall very small. Good breakfast made to order by staff. But DON'T pay the $80,000.00 COP for the driver that they offer from the airport. We did, then paid $25,000.00 COP to return to the airport in a regular taxi.

Everything was great! The room was amazing, and the dad and son were so nice. I felt cozy and comfortable in the room. The ROSE was a nice touch, and the chef is amazing. I love her breakfast and passion fruit juice. The location is also great, literally a 2-minute walk from the market and restaurants. This is in a really good and safe neighborhood. The only con I had was the electricity going out in the middle of the night therefore, my AC kept coming in and out. So the noise of it affected my sleep. Other than that, no complaints. I will definitely recommend my friends to come back here, and I will also come back here.

i loved the location of this property! it is in a very walkable area, has great access to bars & restaurants, and the staff was very polite & super helpful (with recommendations, breakfast, and getting a taxi back to the airport). the only drawbacks were there was no running water on our last day (we went on a boat/island tour so at the end of a long day in the sun & sand this was not idea) and i overheard another guest say the week before there was no running water for 5 days in a row, and the beds were not very comfortable (adding a memory foam topper would be great).
