Robin was a terrific host. Breakfast was amazing and she was very helpful! The inn was historical and quite nice! We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Robin was a fantastic host and amazing cook. Every breakfast was delicious and served with thoughtful touches. Her attention to details like flowers decorating the plates and thoughtful daily messages made breakfast an experience. You will not go hungry. Beds were comfy and her house is within walking distance to town. We would stay there again.

We stayed for two nights perfect location to walk to downtown and lake front, and a good home base to travel north to the rest of Door County. Very clean, quiet and breakfast were both amazing. Highly recommend!!!!

The room was clean and comfortable but the BB needed a little maintanence overall. A bit dated. Breakfast was a communal table seating and only at 9 am which was too late for us. Would have preferred a less formal dining arrangement and the ability to eat within a window of time.

Robin is a top hostess, and does everything she can to make guests comfortable. Her breakfasts were delicious and plentiful.

We had a great stay in Robin's cosy BnB! She is a very warm and welcoming hosts who is happy to chat and give you tips using her extensive knowledge of the local area. She makes a wonderful (and hearty) breakfast each morning that will help you start each day!

Great location for visiting Door County. Wonderful park just down the road for all sorts of activities, including playing pickle ball and sunset walks. Fantastic breakfast and host. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Robin was a wonderful host. Our room was very comfortable. We stayed in the smallest room, but it was plenty for what we needed. Breakfast was delicious and Robin was very accommodating with dietary restrictions. She had many little extras that made the B and B a delightful stay. One thing to note is that breakfast is served at nine and takes just shy of an hour depending on the number of guests and conversation. Our drives to various sites around the peninsula could all be reached in under an hour - most within 40 minutes.

Robin clearly loves her job. The breakfasts were lovely. The coconut cake a treat. Every detail was thought of, even a wine frig.

The balcony with this room was a neat addition to this rm. As was the dual jacuzzi tub. Hostess was exceptionally nice.

Room was quaint though a bit small. Breakfasts were excellent. Proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Accessibility to tub for shower was a bit difficult so could use a step.

The location is across from a shipyard and on a busy street so it wasn’t quiet. The host had nice amenities like bag chairs to use and cookies in the evening. Breakfast was good but was firmly scheduled at 9 am which was late if you had plans for the day. The locks were all hard to work.

Very friendly host, fridge on the shared hall for cold water or your own beverages, choice of coffee/tea in the hall at 7 am; shared sit down breakfast at 9 with yogurt and berries, great breakfast made with eggs, ham, potatoes, cheese and giant chocolate muffin. Very comfortable bed and lovely antiques. Would stay again!

Robin is an amazing hostess. She treats you like you are family. This Victorian B&B is beautiful and inviting. We chose this spot last minute due to a situation, completely my fault for not looking at our reservation we showed up in Door County a day early, our place was full for the night so I found this B&B on Hotels.com and glad we did! It was 8:00 at night and Robin graciously welcomed us and even upgraded us to a larger room. Just the style of the room reminded me of my grandmas old home, so it was pretty nostalgic. I highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Door County you look into the Garden Gate B&B you won’t be disappointed!

Our stay was for 2 nights. The best part was the breakfast and good location We forgot something and the owner mailed it to us right away!!

Robin was a great host. Very friendly, very clean, excellent breakfasts in the morning and desserts in the evening. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants in Sturgeon Bay. The whole experience was very charming.My only nitpick is that the house is older, so the rooms weren't the quietest. I had no problem sleeping, but you will hear some noise from the other guests.

The owner Robin was amazing. She made us feel at home and so very welcome. She gave us a tour when we arrived and let us know where the coconut cake was along with the complimentary beverages. The place was clean, quaint, pleasant. Robin was oddly inhospitable for a B&B owner. Recommend as little interaction as possible if you want to enjoy your stay. Who hurt you Robin?
