A safe and quiet area to stay although need to walk at least 10 min to the beach and other attractions. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Great spot not too far from the beach & main downtown dining area. Loved the outdoor patio by the pool & restaurant.

The hotel was well situated about six blocks from the waterfront with many good restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores within a 7-8 block radius. Attractions are within walking distance. Public buses, which are very easy to use, stop within a block of the hotel and can be taken to Valparaiso, Reñaca, Conćon and anywhere in between. Stayed here for 7 nights and was our base for daily travels. Hotel is modern, spacious, very clean. All front desk, restaurant and cleaning staff were excellent. Breakfast items were plentiful and delicious but remained the same over the duration of our stay. Room and hotel interior areas were all very clean. Area is very safe and comfortable to walk around at night. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, clean, modern, walking distance to most interesting places in Viña del Mar, bus transportation to Valparaiso convenient, cheap and across the street from hotel. Breakfast had adequate variety and good quality. Facilities were very comfortable. Staff were there to make your stay comfortable and pleasant and they are fluent in English which helps!

Great place overall

Staff and service is very bad. No clear instructions. We asked for laundry and we received two different answers: same day and one day. Nobody explained to us that we have to pick up the laundry at front desk. Because we paid in advance nobody at front desk explained to us that we need to register our credit card for any additional service (restaurant, drinks, etc). Then we went to restaurant and we didn't have our credit card with us and we had to go to the room at payment time. Bryan at front desk was very good. We asked for a cappuccino during breakfast and the machine is damage for two consecutive days. We left then we don't know when is going to be available. Breakfast started by 6:30 am. Today we went around 7:30 am and still they were working on the menu (one hour late). This is not the Novotel chain that I know many years ago. We requested to clean the room yesterday by 9:00 am. They told us that in half an hour would be ready. By 3:00 pm still room wasn't clean. Summary, there are no good information nor clear and complete from staff and grade of service is not good.

Not a pleasant experience. I requested a box of tissue paper and the don't have any. Instead they offered me hand towels. Most of the staffs do not speak English. I ordered some food from the restaurant and when I paid my bill the waiter asked for a tip, "do you want to give a tip". Management at this hotel need to improve their hospitality & etiquette procedures.

New building and facilities, great 3 floor with bar, restaurant in front to the swimming pool

Spent 3 nights with my son and it was such a great experience. Staff were lovely and went out of their way to speak English to my son who has limited Spanish. Close to many restaurants, comfortable and clean rooms, amazing pool and great gym facilities. Can’t wait to return on my next trip to Viña Del Mar, Chile

We really enjoyed our stay here. Johan was wonderful when we checked in which was very quick. Breakfast was great each day. We will definitely come back.

At check-in told pool was not working (not on hotels.com site but claimed it was on hotel site). Front desk said we could go and swim in the sea (water temp is only 62 deg F)! Barking dog in breakfast restaurant! Crib set up for 14 year old child and only 2 towels when booking was clear on ages and number of guests. Front desk called to ask if there was a fire in the room because computer registered an alarm. No fire and no alarm in room - surely the room alarm should have gone off if the system registered? Front desk did not believe us and came up to ask again. Hearing no alarm they returned. Is the alarm system working - glad we did not have to find out

Great staff and beautiful property

GREAT staff ! However I cant stress enough How bad service it is to advertise you have a pool only to find out AFTER you check in that it’s closed for renovations and No compensation will be given . For me this is important when booking a hotel in summer time and I would have chosen another hotel if I knew . Extremely disappointing from such a well known chain

BEWARE. Never, in thousands of hotel stays over the past 40+ years have i been charged to check in early for an available room. This is the discount airline of hotels. 25percent extra to check in at noon vs three pm. Then extra to pay in local currency vs hard currency -they said they would add tax - is this a tax scam? BEWARE!

We enjoyed our stay but the room’s air conditioning didn’t work. Also the shower took forever for hot water! The view was fabulous from the 14th floor. The neighborhood was easy to get around in. Breakfast was good also. No swimming pool!!!

Overall, we had a good time at the hotel. However, the daily cleaning of our room could have been better. After the first night, little was done to clean the floor and surfaces, and glasses and cups were not replaced or washed. Things did improve after this. Although the quality of breakfast was good, some equipment (toaster and hot water dispenser) didn’t work efficiently.

They don’t have heat working in the restaurant area, lobby, hallways , was cold, uncomfortable, the main door was broken for almost 4 days, main lobby was cold. Poor management, very good service and always ready to help the Staff.

A couple had a very busy night in the room across ours. Very loud walking (?) and screaming almost all night. This shouldn't happen in a family friendly hotel.

Great experience over NYE at Novotel. Staff was attentive and breakfast was plentiful. Would recommend staying here to visit the beach.
