This is a very nice hotel. Only a few minutes drive from the airport but the airplanes are not bothering you. Nice property with lovely gardens and spacious balconies. The restaurant and the pool area was also nice. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were okey. Beds a bit hard with high pillows and bathrooms a bit small. A close walk to a very nice beach where you can rent sunbeds for a good price. There is also a good restaurant right by the beach. Was good to visit with children.

Brilliant hotel great location. Best part me and my family was the food we did half bord and was he best buffet food we have ever had. So fresh and different every night. The only down fall was the planes going over the hotel But you do get use to it. Overall brilliant hotel our first holiday with our toddler we would definitely return. Thank you

Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. Location wise, its close to the airport but there are only a couple planes a day so you rarely hear noise. The breakfast buffet has an amazing selection of food. Very much recommend and would stay there again if I visit Zante again!

The hotel was in close proximity to the airport and nearby south beaches .stay was comfortable and room were clean.great breakfast and nice pool.

Nice quite location, close to the beach, not far from town center

Staff were very helpful at check-in, they recognised my Gold status and applied the benefits. Hotel is at the end of the airport runway and certain rooms may be noisy in height of summer. I ate at the buffet restaurant which was fine for both dinner and breakfast. Good hotel with nice service at a reasonable price can really fault it

It waa really nice. Just one thing: they did not clean the room every day and we took the trash out by ourselves. And the guy at the dinner buffet called Dennis always makes you wait.

We stayed 2 weeks at the hotel with 2 kids. The place is very okay for the discount price we paid and eventhough the location is very close to the airport there is a nice beach nearby at walking distance as well as the main road. The check-in was not as we expected as the belly boy was not that friendly and didn't offer to help us take the luggage as he did for other guests. The room they initially gave us had a very small shower so different from the photos we saw when we booked and was close to the parking. They moved us to another room with a renovated shower but still there was no Wifi in the room and as a matter fact both room didn't. They didn't fix it after we told them but since we were close to the pool where there was wifi we gave up on that. I don't recommend taking half board if you're staying longer than 3 days as you'll very quickly get bored by the selection and the quality of the food. It's basically average and anything other than Greek food is not well done. Dessert is limited and they use always same ingredients but change the look. Fruit is not always fresh and it's mostly watermelon and pineapple. The staff cleaning the tables are looking every 2minutes to take the plates which becomes very annoying especially when they are ina rush and sometimes you haven't even finished.It was quite busy everyday so there was a lineup. There isn't any lifeguard at the pool or any entertainment show for the kids nor a gym so I advise you to rent a car during your stay.

Had the most amazing time at Marelen Hotel and will be looking to stay here again. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel couldn't have a better location being just a short walk from the main centre with all the restaurants and bars as well as only being 250 metres from the beach.

The hotel is excellent and we had a great stay. All the staff are helpful, friendly and very welcoming without being intrusive. They really work hard and especially with the current covid situation the staff take yours and their health really seriously, at no point did we feel at risk or that we were putting anyone else at risk. The food is fantastic, we had breakfast and the buffet. The staff serve you the food from the breakfast and evening buffet selections and you just choose what you want. We spent days relaxing by the main pool which has a great snack bar and when the kids did their own thing we went to the adult pool which is amazing. There is also a great kids pool for the younger ones. Very near the lovely sandy beach just 2 minutes walk away. I highly recommend this hotel we had a perfect holiday and will definitely go back.

Hotel Marelen is a modern hotel, 10 minutes from Laganas. The rooms are clean and a nice size with gorgeous pools to relax. There’s a variety of snacks that are nice and drinks at the pool but no cocktails. The staff were helpful and it is a 10 minute walk to Kalamaki which has the most amazing restaurants based there. The only thing that the hotel could improve was to have an entertainment team or music playing around the pool however an entertainment team may not have been there due to covid. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

The whole stay was good. just breakfast was a little limited and need to be better. The facilities, in general, were great. The staff was most helpful.

The hotel is adequate, reasonably clean, breakfast is reasonable. Fine if you want a no frills holiday. However, there is no element of customer service, no care about whether you have what you need to enjoy your holiday. Check out was poor, I handed over the keys and asked to check out, they said goodbye. Nothing about how our holiday was? We had a late check out, luggage is kept in an unlocked room in the (tiny) carpark. We had to use our week old beach towels to dry ourselves, there was no shower gel, no where to hang dry clothes as you showered and changed. Lights that were on a short time switch so constantly went out. I could go on but I won’t. This is NOT a four star hotel, it would scrape a 3. However if you want something close to the airport, the beach and good restaurants then good luck....

Really nice hotel very clean and very stylish.The adult only pool was great with comfy beds.The lounge and bar area were really lovely.Service at the pool bar was excellent and very friendly.The food at breakfast was also great plenty of choices Great stay would definitely return to this hotel.

Very friendly staff and every area of the hotel was spotless. The rooms had brilliant air conditioning. The grounds were so well kept.

The room was clean but small (for 3). Breakfast buffet was okay, as expected for a package hotel buffet.The main pool got very crowded&is packed with sunbeds but the kids splash area was great.Our air conditioning broke and they fixed it quickly but it wasnt great even when it did work. Free wifi areas very limited. Reception staff not very friendly. Very close to the beach.Wouldnt stay again - Venus hotel was much better.

Really friendly staff from the moment we arrived. Unlike most other hotels Ive stayed at, there wasnt any need to reserve sun loungers around the pool. This takes away lots of hassle when youre part of a family of four!

The gardens, rooms, food, the staff and main pool all excellent. Location is good too - not too busy, near beach and good selection of shops and restaurants on the main road.

The Marelen Hotel is an excellent hotel. The staff are extremely kind - they are very attentive, nothing is too much trouble for them and they add extra touches which makes your stay extra special. The rooms are well decorated, clean, are air conditioned and all have balconies. The range of food offered at the hotel is also excellent - with a wide variety of tastes being catered for. The hotel also has three pool areas - one for families, one for adults and one for children. Finally, the location of the hotel is ideal - five minute walk from central Kalamaki, two minute walk to Kalamaki beach and less than 10 minutes from the airport. And to top it all off ... you’ll get your own personalised view of the planes landing and taking off from Zakynthos airport ... which adds an additional dimension to your stay! All in all - an excellent hotel, excellent staff and an excellent experience overall! The Marelen Hotel is well worth considering when wanting to stay in Kalamaki in the future.
