The cottage was located in picturesque farmland with lovely views. It was very quite, comfortable & had all we needed. We stayed here after doing the Mangawhai Cliftop walk which was stunning & would highly recommend. Our hosts Sue & Paul were delightful & ever so welcoming.

Very countryside. Wild turkeys outside the cottage, distant country vistas, pleasant hosts. Off the beaten track, 5 miles from nearest town.
Quite a lot of insects. A not sufficient hanging/storage for clothes, etc. Good for 2 or 3 nights.

Peaceful. Views over pasture and woods, sheep, an alpaca, birds. If you just want to read and relax, this is the place! Nothing nearby except farmland

Very nice and clean cottage. You even have your own terrace!
A lot of space. In the middle of nowhere. Very quiet and lovely view.
Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We felt like home there.
